Strategic Development
· Provide leadership, strategy and direction for the Charity’s fundraising, marketing and communications team.
· Be part of the Senior Management Team (SMT), contributing to the vision and strategic direction as well as provide updates and reports for the SMT and Trustees.
· Act as the organisational expert on fundraising, marketing and communications issues, providing advice and guidance to Trustees, SMT and other senior staff members.

Fundraising
· Implement a five-year fundraising strategy (target income c.£1.5m pa), and be accountable for the delivery of operational plans, defining targets and identifying new sources of income.
· Support the diversification of fundraising income to include statutory funding and commissioned contracts with local and national government
· Develop and implement fundraising policies and procedures ensuring all fundraising remains safe and legal.
· Create a strong culture of integrity to deliver effective supporter journeys across all fundraising areas.
· Analysis of current fundraising trends and standards as well as historic analysis of our own activities to optimise all fundraising approaches.
Communications and Marketing
· Oversee the development of the marketing and communications strategy.
· Working with the Communications Manager, develop and implement a marketing plan for our residential services to support high performing occupancy.
· Lead the Communications team to develop the social media strategy, both as a communications and a marketing tool.
· Oversee the website, ensuring accessible content, a strong visitor experience and increasing donations via the site.
· Oversee the strengthening of our internal communications and in particular the flow of project and general information between our services and central teams.
Budgeting and Reporting
· Manage the fundraising, marketing and communications budgets.
· Work closely with the Head of Finance to agree the details and targets of unrestricted and restricted projects to be funded each year.
· Implement accurate and robust systems for reporting on outcomes to funders and our annual impact report
Leadership and Line Management
· Provide strategic direction to all areas of fundraising, marketing and communications, nurturing team members to develop their knowledge and expertise, and maintaining a passionate and engaged group of staff committed to delivering excellence for Trevi.
· Coach, inspire and motivate direct reports and other members of the team as well as providing guidance and direction to deliver their objectives and develop their skills and expertise in their roles.

As a Community Fundraising Assistant you will:
- Manage the fundraising inbox and provide effective and efficient support to the community fundraising team.

About you

About the team
The Community Fundraising team is part of the Individual Giving department in the Fundraising and Marketing Directorate. The IG department brings in approximately £88m per annum through regular giving, one off gifts, prize led fundraising, community and events and legacy and in memory. Fundraising & Patrons Manager (West Wales Region)
Your chance to join Wales’ leading cancer charity to manage raising funds across an already established West Wales region with loads of scope to generate more income. A key and exciting part of this role will see you as the lead when it comes to our partnership and development work with celebrities and patrons who support our work or seek the opportunity to.
You’ll be joining an experienced fundraising team who generate over £2.8million of annual income. Your fundraising impact is seen in people affected by cancer through the services we run, the difference to lives we make and the campaigns that make meaningful change.
You’ll be managing and building relationships all across West Wales with our supporters, Friends of Tenovus groups and establishing new fundraising connections and work with teams of volunteers. You can expect to manage events such as out annual Lovelight concerts, Singathons and Breast Cancer Awareness Month to name just a few.
Salary: £31,000
Working Hours: 35 hours per week with flexible working
Due to the nature of our fundraising work you’ll need to be flexible at times to work evenings and weekends. Around this we work core 11am-3pm hours to flexibly suit work around your lifestyle and personal commitments and operate our work flexibly between 7am – 9pm so you can do things like the school runs or fit in wellness activities and hobbies with your working life.

Main duties of the job
Reporting to the Director of Fundraising and Comms, the post-holder will be responsible for fundraising from companies across the East Midlands to increase annual income and awareness of Nottingham Hospitals Charity and its appeals. Working with SMEs to blue chip companies, the post-holder will develop mid to high value partnerships with companies across the region, based on a sound business approach and relationship development. Working primarily in the corporate sector, the post-holder will also work together with our Community, IG, Comms and Marketing colleagues in support of our overall objectives.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve or exceed agreed income and productivity targets through successful development and management of corporate fundraising
- Develop and implement annual corporate fundraising plans to grow income, generate new leads and manage ongoing relationships
- Conduct prospect research to identify best prospects and plan approaches to introduce the Charity to secure support, to include Charity of the Year partnerships and sponsorship opportunities
- Cultivate and develop relationships with new corporate supporters and develop relationships with existing partnerships to secure ongoing support
- Provide effective relationship management and stewardship to provide support and develop fundraising activity to deliver income and increase retention of corporate donors

Community fundraising is at the heart of Lingen Davies, and we are very fortunate to have a strong tradition of support across our region. Our Community Fundraising Manager will work closely with colleagues across the charity to drive and grow our community fundraising even further, ensuring excellent supporter care and stewardship, and building long term relationships for the charity. You will work with colleagues to develop the use of our CRM system and apply data analysis to support delivery of the role, and to develop future plans and direction. You will be self-managing, motivated, have excellent interpersonal skills and be computer savvy!

This exciting role offers a superb opportunity for a dynamic fundraiser to lead and develop this crucial income stream. With exceptional relationship management and written skills, and proven experience of raising six-figure plus grants, you will manage strategic relationships with trusts, grant makers and statutory funders, maximising income to help combat the causes and impact of poverty – and to inspire the next generation of social activists
Key Responsibilities
Donor management
- Write tailored, inspirational applications and project reports addressing grant-making priorities or requirements as specified
- Create and maintain a schedule of approaches to new, lapsed, and existing funders; developing, writing, and delivering creative and engaging proposals in line with the objectives and criteria of each funder
- Work collaboratively across teams and areas of operation identifying new funding opportunities, reporting on impact and evaluation
- Develop and implement a programme and methodology of approaches to small, medium and large trusts
- Work toward an agreed annual work plan meeting targets and milestones; prioritising workload and planning activity.
Identifying funding opportunities to ensure that our charity broadens awareness of and funding for our vital work
- Identify and research a comprehensive pipeline of realistic funding opportunities including trusts and corporate foundations
- Maintain a broad knowledge of the organisation’s funding needs
- Liaise closely with senior managers and teams to plan and develop the strongest possible proposals
- Approach funders, develop and maintain new relationships and access new fundraising opportunities
- Regularly research new opportunities via cold trusts
Developing strong relationships with funders
- Develop and maintain stewardship plans to keep all funders engaged with the impact of their support, including managing visits
- Report to key funders on progress, expenditure, and future plans
- Working with delivery and management staff to ensure that funder objectives and monitoring requirements are met
- Maintain accurate records and information about funders on Raiser’s Edge NXT and in communication with the finance team
- Identify and initiate opportunities for funders to engage with Toynbee Hall beyond their funded project
Strategic
- Plan and deliver individual fundraising projects; developing new fundraising ideas and engaging internal and external stakeholders to deliver them
- Work with Head of Fundraising to report and forecast progress against established targets for income, research, and relationship development
- Stay informed of developments and trends in fundraising by monitoring sector news and networking with appropriate organisations
- Work with Executive team and CEO (Chief Executive Officer) to leverage their contacts and expertise
Team responsibility
- Develop and maintain mutually supportive internal relationships with project teams, finance, monitoring and senior management
- Work in line with the Institute of Fundraising’s Code of Practice, Fundraising Regulator
and GDPR, fulfilling any additional legal requirements related to this function of fundraising - Take responsibility for your personal development and seek out opportunities for support and development

The Community Fundraising Assistant plays a vital role in supporting a dynamic programme of MSF challenge events, community fundraising initiatives, and in-memory or tribute donations.
This position is essential to the smooth functioning of the Community, Events & Tributes team, ensuring efficient administrative processes, such as banking and donor acknowledgment, and financial reconciliations. The role also involves providing guidance and assistance to event participants and community fundraisers, offering excellent supporter care to help elevate donations and build lasting relationships.

We are seeking a passionate individual to join our small but mighty team. Cultivate and recruit new and existing supporters to participate in a range of events including those planned by EAND as well as ‘host your own’ fundraising events.

About the role
Overall responsibility for leadership, management and performance of fundraising and commercial income sits with the Head of Fundraising, working alongside a Director who firmly believes in empowering her team to succeed. You'll oversee the Transforming Lives Capital Appeal, unrestricted and restricted revenue fundraising and commercial hire income.
You'll have a real opportunity to feed into a five-year fundraising and communications strategy, which will include reviewing Seashell's revenue and capital needs and the resource required to deliver effectively.
You'll have leadership and delivery responsibility for a growing team of x12 fundraisers. Revenue income currently sits at £1.6 million with ambition to grow. Plus, additional income from current and future capital appeals sits within your remit (target of £10 million with roughly 25% still to go).
About you
We're looking for a confident and capable fundraising leader, with proficiency and knowledge across a broad range of income streams, and personal experience managing high-value relationships.
You're comfortable with ambition and thrive on meeting goals.
In previous roles, you'll have played an instrumental role in growth, demonstrating exceptional leadership qualities (ideally, previously managing fundraised income circa £2 million+ to apply).
You foster a balanced culture of accountability, where people feel safe to try new things, are encouraged to play to their strengths and empowered to find their flow.
