About the role:
From climate science and robotics, to drug discovery and surveying and conserving tropical rainforests, Oxford scientists are at the forefront of international research and their work has global impact. You’ll join the country’s most successful higher education Development team working closely with academics and researchers with an international reputation for excellence.
You will help to raise funds for cutting-edge, innovative and life-changing research, scholarships, access and outreach, and a number of key capital projects.
You’ll also develop your skills and experience across a range of income streams: regular giving, stewardship, legacies and major gifts, including gaining experience facilitating gifts up to six figures.
About you:
You’ll already have some fundraising, business development, alumni relations, or marketing experience. We’re looking for you to be able to positively and confidently engage and build rapport, both in conversation and writing.
You’re naturally curious and keen to learn more about the potential for scientific developments impact world issues, and change people’s lives.
We’d also love to see you demonstrate the following skills and qualities:
Think strategically and tactically about the relations between potential donors and fundraising goals.
- Be creative in producing materials, with an understanding of how to articulate projects for donors.
- Able to manage, prioritise and adapt to a diverse workload, meet deadlines, and work calmly under pressure.

The Health Foundation is an independent charitable organisation working to build a healthier UK.

We are looking to recruit an Advocacy and Campaigns Manager to drive and deliver the implementation of impactful advocacy and campaigns, which actively engage Embrace supporters and UK Christians and church leaders to amplify the voices of our partners and bring about change for their contexts in the Middle East.
Main responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to develop and deliver impactful and engaging campaigns into the political sphere with a view to seeing policy and practice changes that will benefit Embrace’s partners and the communities they serve.
- Project manage the delivery of Embrace’s advocacy campaigns strategy for justice and inclusion in the Middle East.
- Work with the Partnership Managers and Church Engagement Team to maintain a nuanced and well-informed understanding of relevant policy, political, theological, church-related and development issues in the region and in the UK.
- Represent Embrace and build strong relationships with advocacy personnel within our Partners and wider sector groups.
- Support the Charity in every way possible to fulfil its vision and charitable aims.
Suitable candidates will possess substantial experience in policy development and engagement within the political system, demonstrating a proven ability to mobilise UK Christians for advocacy and change. You will have project management expertise, particularly in crafting and launching advocacy initiatives aimed at influencing key stakeholders and institutions, with a focus on establishing clear campaign objectives and ensuring timely, budget-compliant delivery of campaign activities.
In the context of this role, a strong theological insight into regional issues is essential, enabling the candidate to navigate the interplay between political and theological matters when collaborating with churches. Their professional capabilities will be complemented by a deep commitment to advancing Embrace’s advocacy efforts, aligning with the charity’s mission and values to transform the lives of marginalised people and communities.

Job description
Avon Wildlife Trust is recruiting 2x Trainees to join the Pollinator Recovery Team. These 9-month placements require no previous experience or degree level education, and offer the skills and experience necessary to kickstart a career in the environmental sector.
Insects pollinate £690 million worth of crops in the UK annually, with wild pollinators carrying out 85-95% of this. Many species of bee, moth, butterfly, hoverfly, fly and beetle provide this essential, often overlooked, service. Despite this, the steep decline of pollinating insects, and the loss of the habitats that support them, are well documented.
The AWT and partner organisations in the West of England aim to halt and reverse these losses, with an ambition to become the UK’s Bee & Pollinator Capital. As a Pollinator Pathways trainee, you will help to support delivery of this ambition.
The Pollinator Pathways project focuses on the area within the ‘B-Line’ (Biodiversity line), between AWT’s reserves of Folly Farm and Browne’s Folly, with ambitions to scale up and expand this work around the Avon area.
The trainee will support the teams work with farmers, landowners and communities to grow the network of habitats between these reserves. To ensure climate resilience you will work hands on, with expert support from project staff, on a variety of priority habitats including grasslands, hedgerows, in-field trees and woodland edges, all of which are important pollinator habitats.
There is also a generous training budget which will allow successful applicants to learn new skills such as GIS (Geographic Information System), First aid, Species ID, UK habitat classification, Biodiversity Net Gain training, Brushcutter/hand tool training etc. Trainees will under-take one ‘study’ day per week where they can research/train in relevant areas of interest.
As a Pollinator Pathways trainee you will:
· Support the project team in delivering the Pollinator Pathways Project
· Carryout 1 day per week of dedicated study. Details to be agreed with the Pollinator Recovery Manager
· Gain the skills, licences and experience needed to start a career in the environmental sector
· Learn how to deliver nature recovery projects (admin and ground works)

We are seeking a motivated and highly organised national Quality Manager to join our expanding team. Responsibilities
1. Oversee internal and external quality across IPS Grow delivery

Purpose of role
Based in our offices in Knightsbridge, London, the Programme Manager will have experience in grant-making or in relevant non-profit or policy sectors, and an interest in social and environmental causes globally. Primary responsibilities
- Managing an existing portfolio of livelihoods and climate grants, i.e. owning the relationship with the NGOs, following their progress, overseeing the financial and legal aspects of the grant, and reporting to the Chair. • support the ethos, aims and objectives of the Church of England and the diocese;

Over the past few years, Families in Grief (FiG) has grown significantly to meet the needs of our North Devon and Torridge community. We have just completed a piece of work to expand our reach, enhance our accessibility to healthcare professionals and schools, and broaden our range of services to better support children, young people and families who have been bereaved. We are now looking for an experienced leader with a passion for making a difference to continue this work.
Our aims:
- To provide a credible and high-quality bereavement support service to all grieving families children, young people and families in need of our help.
- To better educate and support professionals who come into contact with bereaved children and young people.
- To improve family relationships after a member of the family dies, to reduce bereaved families' feelings of social isolation, to improve a child or young person’s engagement with school and the wider community for families to learn further about the impact of grief.
- To ensure all families and professionals working with families in North Devon and the Torridge area are aware of FiG’s services.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Continue to shape the vision: leading FiG with clarity and purpose, ensuring the charity remains responsive to the needs of bereaved families in Northern Devon.
- Drive strategy: collaborating with the Board to develop and implement a rolling 3-year strategic plan that aligns with FiG’s goals and adapts to changing needs. Champion innovation and continuous improvement, ensuring the charity thrives in a dynamic environment.
- Inspire teams: providing inspirational leadership to employees and volunteers, fostering a culture of collaboration, compassion, and excellence.
- Impact focus: regularly evaluating and refining FiG’s strategy to maximize its impact, delivering meaningful, sustainable support to the community.
- Operational and Financial Management: ensure smooth day-to-day office logistics, manage budgets, oversee financial processes and health and safety in order to ensure compliance with all charity requirements

We are seeking an experienced Campaign Mobilisation Manager to design and deliver high impact campaigns, manage and grow our network of campaigners, and centre the voices of people with lived experience of financial insecurity.
This is an exciting opportunity in our growing Policy & Influencing team to establish a robust campaigning function for Turn2us, with a strong focus on system change and the impact of stigma.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about our mission to challenge the systems and perceptions that cause financial insecurity. You will bring experience of developing and delivering high impact and creative influencing campaign strategies with a focus on centring the voices of people with lived experience.
We want to hear from applicants with a strong understanding of how policy, public affairs and campaigning interact to create social change, and the digital skills to build and grow an online network of campaign supporters.
We offer flexible working patterns, both in terms of hours and remote working. Please note that all employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 4 days a month.
Some roles may be required to be in the office more often than others and this will be agreed with the hiring manager upon starting at Turn2us.
