Your role
The role of the Librarian is to care for, develop and promote the library resources of the CMS and the Pioneer Centre in such a way that they are available for all present and likely future needs of the Society’s staff, members and supporters, overseas partner churches and members of the public with identified research interests.

Position Summary
The Global Center is seeking an early/mid-career professional to support capacity development programming that advances equitable collaboration between civil society, government, private sector, and multilateral actors to realize a more just and secure world.
Working under the supervision of colleagues addressing cross-cutting thematic and geographic programs, the successful candidate has a demonstrated passion for human rights, security, and development and is keen to contribute their skills to a diverse range of programs.

Working alongside staff in London, Nairobi, New York, or DC you will collaborate with international experts, project partners, and funders to develop and implement programs globally, including regular travel to countries of operation.

- Working to ensure young people receive a high-quality service from the point of registration to the move-on. Taking a hands-on approach to dealing with complex or difficult cases and ensuring the quality of support plans to create opportunities to promote independence.
- Managing a caseload of internally referred clients with additional needs as they transition out of homelessness, ensuring that the necessary support structures are in place to facilitate successful tenancy sustainment.
- Carrying out thorough needs assessments and putting in place support plans with young people accessing the resettlement programme.
- Providing expert advice and guidance on Accommodation, Welfare Benefits, Housing Benefit and Tenancy rights, Legal Services, and Employment, Education & Training. Monitoring and evaluating young people’s progress.
- Building and maintaining effective partnerships with accommodation providers and external stakeholders, in addition to cultivating and strengthening existing relationships.
- Referring young people to other internal New Horizon Youth Centre teams in order to support their progression, including Health and Jobs, Education and Training.

Purpose
Kids in Need of Defense UK is a collaboration between four award-winning, UK based not for profits that specialise in children’s immigration and asylum law. We partner with lawyers and law firms across the UK to provide the highest quality legal advice and representation for free to undocumented children and young people. Central England Law Centre (CELC) is the UK's Largest Law Centre and the lead partner in the KIND UK collaboration. This is a key role for which we’re seeking a suitably qualified and experienced immigration adviser. They will be responsible for providing an excellent frontline service to KIND UK clients, leading on all matters relating to the assessment and triage of new referrals to the service.

Responsibilities:
- Assess referrals which have been flagged for legal advice by KIND UK administrators, for merit and suitability for the KIND UK project

SIG Safe Ground are experts in delivering arts-based, therapeutically informed group work, celebrating 30 years of working in prisons in 2025. We’re looking for an action-orientated individual who is passionate about developing creative, family-led ways of working to best support those in crisis. You’ll join a reflective, dynamic team of facilitators, counsellors and family liaison workers supporting those with experience of the criminal justice system to build a practical toolbox to cope and move forward positively.
We are seeking a Programmes Coordinator/Facilitator to join the Safe Ground team in HMP Altcourse, Liverpool and take the lead in the effective setup, delivery, and evaluation of Safe Ground's programmes. The role involves delivering arts-based interventions aimed at supporting participants in their personal development, family relationships, and rehabilitation. You will be based at HMP Altcourse, where you will develop collaborative partnerships with colleagues at the Visitors' Centre, as well as with key prison teams, wing staff, and, most importantly, the programme participants.
You will be required to undertake additional training and vetting as per the requirements of the prison.
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm hours may vary dependent on needs of the service.

About the Role
PMC is looking for a Networks Manager (Parental Leave Cover) to manage the delivery of the Centre’s Networks and further develop our offer of networking events and skill development programmes.
The PMC’s Networks connect and support researchers who are engaging with British art in its broadest sense, at different stages of their working lives. The networks currently include the Doctoral Researchers Network (DRN), Early Career Researchers Network (ECRN) and the British Art Network (BAN), a subject-specialist network supported by PMC in partnership with Tate. The programming of each network is led by a convenor: annually appointed external convenors in the case of the ECRN and DRN; the Head of Grants, Networks and Learning in the case of BAN. Additionally, the PMC Networks team run programmes and events to support the vocational development of emerging researchers and professionals, currently including the British Art in Motion film competition and the Art Trade Seminar. During 2025 our Networks programme will be developed and refined, with a new consolidated network for emerging researchers. The post-holder will undertake the final planning and implementation of the new network.
Salary will be £44,000.
This post is a fixed-term contract for a minimum period of 10 months, full-time and the hours of work are 35 per week.

British Art Network
The successful applicant will:
- take an active role in the BAN team, based across Tate and PMC, in overseeing the effective delivery of the Network’s activities
- lead on BAN’s membership and communications, including working with the external web developer in maintaining and developing the dedicated BAN website and preparing and delivering membership-wide mailings
- work with the Convenor to plan and deliver the Curatorial Forum (a global residential programme) overseeing the logistics and administration (including travel and accommodation bookings)

Legal Counsel
-
Provide legal counsel on employment law, contracts, global operations, and labour issues, ensuring compliance across CPI’s international operations.

Manage risk by providing strategic legal advice related to global policies, contracts, and employee matters.

Ensure that all legal documentation and contracts are aligned with CPI’s values, ensuring ethical and equitable standards are maintained across the organisation.

Serve as the primary point of contact with external law firms across multiple regions, ensuring effective coordination and management of legal matters worldwide.

Organisational Development and Policy Creation

Lead organisational development initiatives that promote growth, learning, and adaptability within our teams.

Create, review, and update global People and Culture policies and procedures that align with local labour laws and best practices across different regions.

Regularly assess the effectiveness of organisational structures and recommend adjustments that support CPI’s long-term goals.

Continuously innovate and improve CPI’s People & Culture practices, drawing on global best practices and emerging trends.

Build and nurture cross-functional partnerships to drive strategic initiatives that enhance both organisational culture and operational effectiveness.

The person we are looking for will:
-
Have 10+ years of experience of People & Culture and DEIB experience, particularly in the non-profit/charity/social impact space.

Hold at least 5 years of experience in a legal counsel or similar role, advising on HR-related legal matters.

Possess a Juris Doctor (JD) and be licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Have significant experience in nonprofit law, including the development, review, and negotiation of contracts, compliance with relevant regulations, and governance.

Be a people-focused leader with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for fostering positive, inclusive workplaces.

Be committed to actively cultivating a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging in the workplace.

Have a track record of successfully developing and implementing people strategies that align with organisational goals.

Be a strategic thinker with the ability to balance day-to-day HR responsibilities with long-term cultural and organisational development goals.

Have experience working in a global organisation, with an understanding of the complexities of international organisations, labour laws, and HR practices.

Possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide sound legal advice in complex situations.

Exhibit flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to navigate change and lead in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Have high integrity, with the ability to hold confidential information and conversations tightly.
