As Project Coordinator, the successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting the Global Communications department by managing the acquisition of content, processing data, and coordinating with freelancers. Key duties and responsibilities of the Project Coordinator include:

• Content Acquisition: Coordinate with regional teams and programme coordinators to acquire necessary raw content (e.g., data, videos, images) for various projects.
• Data Processing: Analyse and process large volumes of raw content and data to identify appropriate storylines and ensure accuracy and relevance for reports and case stories.
• Freelancer Briefing: Develop detailed briefs for freelancers, outlining project requirements, deadlines, and expected deliverables. Manage the workflow between the organisation and freelancers, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery.
• Project Management: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Administrative Support: Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, maintaining project documentation, and tracking project progress.
• Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the Global Communications department, freelancers and clients, ensuring smooth collaboration and addressing any issues that arise.
• Current Events: Stay informed about current events and ensure that content is relevant and timely, particularly for reactive content related to emergencies and humanitarian crises.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Digital Marketing, PR, and Programme Leads teams to align content and ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.
• Quality Control: Review and ensure the quality of content produced by freelancers, providing feedback and requesting revisions as necessary

What we’re looking for in our Project Coordinator include:

• Ideally Degree-educated in a relevant field
• Minimum 2 years of Experience in Administration / Communications
• MS Office Suite

Press Officer

Covid-19 Bereaved Families for Justice are looking for a press officer to oversee our press and communications as we fight to ensure the mistakes from the pandemic are never repeated again.

This is an exciting opportunity to manage the press office for an organisation which in recent years has been at the forefront of some of the biggest news stories in the country, including the Covid Inquiry, ‘Partygate’ and many more.

AAFDA was founded by Frank Mullane in memory of his sister Julia Pemberton and her son Will who were both killed by her ex-partner in 2003.

Each year, around 150 families lose a loved one to domestic homicide. The actual number of suicides as a result of domestic abuse remains unknown.  Most of these families suffer significant problems including relationship breakdown, job difficulties/loss and mental and physical health issues. We help these families in many ways, our prime function being to provide families in England and Wales with specialist peer support and expert and specialist advocacy for the range of statutory reviews that will take place after domestic homicide.

AAFDA (Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse) is a growing Charity and to meet the demands of this growth, we are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our team in a highly rewarding opportunity. Although home based, some travel will be required - frequency will be commensurate to the role. The Job Description document sets out the expectations for an Associate Independent Person for Complaints (IPC) who is approved by Coram Voice. IPCs are independent, freelance and responsible for their own work. Nevertheless, IPCs are accountable to the organisation for their professional standards and are expected to comply with Coram Voice Code of Ethics and Practice Guidelines.

Please Note: the nature of associate work means that we cannot guarantee a regular amount of work, and complaints will be allocated dependent on the associate’s availability, location and the needs and demands of the individual case. Shine has a membership of over 14,000 members living with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus and associated conditions and over 6,500 associated members.

In the last year we have seen a 25% increase in members who are living with Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH) across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. You will ensure that service users (children and adults) and their families, receive high quality support, from the point of diagnosis and throughout their journey, and will assist them to access funding, equipment and care and support that they are entitled to. You will join a team that makes a real difference to the lives of the people living with muscle-wasting conditions, and their families, in Scotland. The role will be primarily home based, but there will also be a requirement to attend outpatient clinics within the region, attend home visits where appropriate and to support responding to queries through the helpline and information inbox. Some travel will be required to attend meetings and events outside of Scotland. You will work with both statutory and voluntary organisations, clinicians, and health and social care professionals to ensure that people living with muscle wasting conditions get the care and support they need to live well and independently.
