You will lead on the processing of post and redistribution to correct areas of the organisation.
To be responsible for providing a high standard of supporter care to Demelza’s supporters by responding to written, email, web and telephone enquiries as well as the first point of contact for onsite visitors to ensure excellent supporter engagement.
You will:
Input new supporter data and update existing records as needed
Handle cash and cheque donations adding these directly onto the database to create income batches and ensure reconciliation with the Finance system
Be the first point of contact for supporters via telephone and visiting in person
Provide administrative support to all members of the Fundraising Team

Leadership, line management and training [25%]
- Lead your team with confidence; spurring them on in Resurgo’s mission; invest in a team culture of excellence, belonging and fun
- Manage and develop the Lead Coach and Graduate Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development. This includes weekly 1:1s, performance reviews and regular feedback
- Equip your team to drive change through a data informed approach, and keep them accountable to agreed targets for the Spear Programme
Relationship management [20%]
- Manage great relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including referrers, local businesses, donors, and your Board of Trustees
- Embed into your local church; working closely with your Spear Trustees and congregation, and actively participating in their mission and events
- Partner with the Spear Trustees and assist in implementing their funding strategy by helping to build corporate and donor relationships. For example, by hosting prospective donors in the Training Room
Delivery of the Spear Programme [20%]
- Support group and 1-1 coaching with numerous 16-24-year-olds: equipping them with practical work-ready skills and resilient mindsets
- Provide guidance to the Lead Coach in the training room when dealing with behavioural and safeguarding situations and upskill coaches with consistent coaching feedback
- Use a coaching approach to engage young people in challenging conversations that will enable them to take responsibility and over significant barriers to employment
Operations [10%]
- Liaise with relevant staff regarding site operations and work to resolve any issues as soon as possible, ensuring the office and training room are safe and tidy working spaces in line with health and safety policies

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated HR Systems Project & Implementation Manager to join a busy, friendly, supportive, HR team. You will be responsible for the implementation of our clients new HR Core, Onboarding and Payroll systems, designing, configuring and testing of processes for seamless transition to the new HR system.
This is an important role for the Trust, and a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual to deliver all three systems on time and in line with requirements.
With proven technical expertise in HR technology implementation, configuration and data management (preferably IRIS Cascade), you will collaborate with HR subject matter experts to create streamlined workflow automation process maps to maximise efficiency and minimise disruption to users. You will possess proven project management skills in system implementation, together with a sound knowledge of HR policy, processes and procedures and how these adapt to workflows in the system.
A strong communicator, you will be able to convey complex information to diverse audiences, together with experience of collaborating with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the business, as well as external system providers. You need to have experience of project management methodology to track progress and writing highlight reports for senior management. You will also have sound experience of payroll systems, preferably IRIS Cascade.
As well as advanced proficiency in IT and excellent MS Office skills, you will also possess an enquiring mind to identify user requirements together with strong organisational and time management skills.
You will be CIPD qualified and ideally hold a Bachelor’s degree in HR Management Information Systems, or Data Analytics but this is not essential.

We are looking for three Complex Needs Practitioners (Recovery Worker) to join our team in Aylesbury.
The purpose of the role is to engage people in a variety of interventions, using a person centred approach, empowering them to reduce risk, increase resilience and achieve positive outcomes.
All Complex Needs Practitioners (Recovery Worker) work flexibly across the community and within our multi-agency partnership settings. The caseload will include a mixture of community and multi-agency referral pathways including health and social care. You will join our caring multi-disciplinary teams, to help empower you to provide quality psychosocial interventions to our diverse client groups.
A core part of the role will be working with people to address holistic support needs across all aspects of the person’s substance use and wellbeing. This could include diverse work related to physical and emotional health, meaningful use of time, family and relationships, community engagement and activites, accommodation, physical and emotional health, offending as well as substance use (drug use and / or alcohol use).
An energetic and confident self-starter, you have a qualification in health/social care, youth and community work (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies). Alternatively, we’ll consider candidates with experience of working in the substance misuse field with a commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care. Experience of liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies and health professionals and engaging effectively with clients in a variety of settings is essential. Sitting within the broader Student Voice Department (alongside the Advice Team), you would lead a friendly, talented team of four permanent Student Voice Coordinators (SVCs) who together account for all of the Union’s policy, democratic, representation and campaigning work, alongside a part-time member of student staff.

In addition to overseeing policy and research output, you would be responsible for leading a democratic and governance structure that is so innovative it is currently the source of an international academic study. Accountabilities here would include delivery of our biannual student elections and sector-leading Student Panels.

Age UK Islington is developing a new befriending service in the coming months. As part of this development, we have an exciting opportunity for a part-time role as a Befriending Coordinator.
This will involve supporting all aspects of service development, partnership building, volunteer recruitment, training and management and matching volunteers to clients for home visits, telephone befriending and/or activity-based befriending. The post holder will also be responsible for case recording, monitoring and service evaluation.
The role is for 15 hours per week; this may increase to 21 hours per week dependant on the success of future funding applications. There is flexibility around when you work these hours.

Key responsibilities:
• Network across the borough of Wandsworth and South West London by visiting organisations and speaking to people with lived experience of mental distress and / or using mental health services and mental health professionals.
• To have a particular focus on reaching people we are keen to see continuing to use Sound Minds including young people, people from BAME communities, and LGBTQ+ people.
• To form ongoing working relationships with people who refer members to Sound Minds such as care coordinators, social prescribers, community mental health teams, local psychiatric hospitals, and housing support workers.
• To lead the referral team at Sound Minds to ensure the referral pipeline operates smoothly and fits the needs of prospective members.

Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Female Specialist Support Worker (equivalent to Female Specialist Housing Caseworker) on a Permanent on a full-time basis at our female only scheme in Stoke Newington.
The service is part our Complex Needs Service in London, a supported housing scheme for single homeless females aged 16-21 years, including care leavers and ex-offender with high support needs.
We support young women to gain independence, supporting them holistically to reach their goals/aspirations and move on to independent living.
We are looking for female applicants only for this role as it is an all-women’s service. The Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1, Paragraph 1 applies to this post.
What we’re looking for:
- Do you have a background working with vulnerable young females (18-21 years) within either a social housing, education, or charity sector where the focus is their development and personal growth?
