About the role:

The Digital Officer is a key member of the Marketing and Digital team. As Digital Officer you'll work closely with Marketing and digital colleagues, as well as fundraising teams across the organisation. • Professional experience using CMS (Content Management Systems) and knowledge of website management, on-page and technical SEO and digital best practice. Knowledge of UX is desirable but not essential.
• Experience using data tools, such as Google Analytics for reporting and identifying actionable insights.
• Excellent copywriting, editorial and proofreading skills.
• Experience in writing for the web or digital channels and creating content tailored to a variety of audiences.
• Ability to communicate, work collaboratively and build good working relationships.

The Role

The focus of parkrun’s Communications Team is to make sure that parkrun’s communications are ‘always on’, accessible, inclusive and reaching those that too often are under-represented. The team also provides first-class support and guidance to the entire charity, working closely with outreach, and with our commercial team, which covers fundraising, partnerships and retail.

Working closely with the junior parkrun Impact and Engagement Manager, the Senior Communications Officer will proactively lead and shape the marketing communications activity for junior parkrun. They will provide expert communications project management to plan, deliver and report on a variety of internal and external campaigns. The role has a particular focus on junior parkrun, with the aim of increasing participation amongst groups that are marginalised from opportunities to take part in social, physical activity, and who may be inactive/less active or in lower states of health.

Location: Any UK Trust office. Hybrid working 2-3 days in the office. Travel to London when required.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen at the heart of the Law Society's campaigning and political influencing activity.

Managing a busy in-house team of public affairs professionals, this role will lead our day-to-day engagement and relationships with key political stakeholders, providing oversight of our activity and working closely with senior leadership to support our members.

We lobby on a range of legislation in Parliament - from Bill's you might expect such as the Crime and Policing Bill or the Employment Rights Bill - but also on Bill's such as the Planning and Infrastructure Bill, the Terminally Ill Adults Bill or on recent trade legislation.

The Law Society is the independent professional body for over 200,000 solicitors in England and Wales. Our members work across all areas of law - and the issues we work on are just as diverse. As Public Affairs Manager, you will lead the effective delivery of Public Affairs and influencing activity, supporting and advising the work of our officeholders and senior leadership team in developing key relationships and identifying opportunities to influence.

We're looking for candidates with a keen interest in politics and campaigning, and someone who has:

• Relevant experience in a public affairs role or equivalent in a complex organisation, and experience of designing, implementing and evaluating persuasive influencing campaigns which has delivered positive outcomes
• Strong stakeholder management abilities, with expertise in influencing and developing relationships with senior level stakeholders, while credibly representing the Law Society
• Experience of line management or leading a high performing team that delivers work on time, to brief and to a high standard.

Our Communications and Campaigns team is growing this year. We have been changing how we communicate and campaign and are carving out a new approach to media work, political engagement, and digital mobilisation. This role will play a crucial part in raising our profile.

As Digital Communications Officer you will take a lead on social media content production on all platforms and management of our social media channels.

We are looking for someone with:

• hands on experience in social media content production, multi-media creation, be able to use content management platforms, video and design software, social media scheduling tools, digital dashboards, and email marketing systems.
• an ability to manage website content and run social media campaigns, and an understanding of SEO and digital analytics.
• very good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work confidently with external stakeholders and colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
• brilliant organisational skills, including the ability to use initiative, prioritise workload and meet short deadlines.

The ideal candidate will also be self-motivated, a strong communicator with excellent writing and speaking skills and attention to detail. They should enjoy working as part of a busy and fast-paced team.

You will also network in the community supporting our community partners and play a key role in developing our impact reporting and helping communicate the impact of our community partners to support our communications, fundraising and partnerships work, and raise the profile of our community partners.

Key responsibilities

· To be the lead Grants & Community Manager at H&F Giving and be well networked within the borough, developing our community stakeholders network and managing a range of key grant management projects to build a strong and connected community

· To be responsible for all grant administration and grant processes from end-to-end from opening grant programmes, reviewing/assessing processes and panel management to decisions made and reporting and evaluation

· To produce impact reports on grant rounds and gather stories from community partners to help drive H&F Giving’s communications, fundraising and partnerships work, and raise the profile of our community partners
