Endometriosis UK Support Services are a lifeline for those affected by endometriosis who have nowhere else to turn while they wait for a diagnosis, treatment, and care. We run a successful helpline delivered by volunteers with lived experience of endometriosis, who understand the challenges of living with the disease. Our volunteers provide vital emotional and practical support to those affected by endometriosis.
We have experienced an increasing demand for our services, with a 1230% increase in calls to our Helpline between 2020-2023. The pandemic has left a legacy of delays accessing endometriosis surgery, treatment, and care. Waiting lists across the country are now 60% longer than prepandemic levels. Even with a diagnosis, support can be difficult to access. 72% of those with endometriosis were not given any written information when diagnosed, and 81% report endometriosis has negatively impacted their mental health.
Thanks to the generous support of the community, we are now in the position to expand our support services to include a new specialist support line. The new nurse-led support line recognises the growing need for specialist advice and information offered endometriosis community.
We are looking for an endometriosis clinical nurse specialist to lead on this service, delivering phone and email support for those affected by endometriosis. Working closely with the Head of Support and Information and Specialist Advisor, the Support Line Manager will contribute to the set-up, launch and delivery of this service. This will include recruiting two helpline advisors and designing methods of monitoring and evaluation.
We would accept a job share ensuring the partnership covered 5 days a week, 8.5 hours a day.
Location: Remote or Office-based (London Bridge) or Hybrid (2 days working from home).

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets and support the Flint House strategic plan and mission.

- Plan and coordinate fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives to engage donors and raise awareness of the charity's mission.

- Work to create effective fundraising campaigns and materials, including digital and print collateral, social media content, and email campaigns.
- Manage donor stewardship and recognition programs to ensure donors feel valued and engaged with the organisation.
- Utilise donor management software / databases to track donor interactions, manage donor information, and analyse fundraising data.
- Provide regular reports and analysis on fundraising activities, goals, and outcomes to the Executive Team and Trustees.
- Stay informed about trends and best practices in fundraising, philanthropy, and non-profit management, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Manage a team that supports our donor engagement and communications strategy.
Qualifications and Experience
- Ideally, a Bachelor's degree in non-profit management, business administration, marketing, or a related field (master's degree preferred). Membership with the Institute of Fundraising.
- Significant experience in non-profit fundraising, development, or related field, with a proven track record of success in meeting fundraising goals and securing major gifts - annual fundraising income of upward of £1 million.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively communicate the charity's mission and impact to diverse audiences.
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling fundraising appeals, grant proposals, and other donor communications.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in donor management software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant fundraising tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of fundraising best practices, ethical guidelines, and regulations governing charitable organisations.
- Working knowledge of marketing communications strategy and donor engagement.
- Proven line manager and demonstrated ability to work across all levels within Flint House to support and drive our fundraising efforts.

The role:
We believe Street Child has a huge opportunity to achieve even more growth in the Corporate Partnerships sector by diversifying our coverage and relationships into new industries and growth markets. The New Business Manager role will play a key role in leading our New Business activity outside of our existing portfolio. Reporting to our recently appointed Senior Manager for Partnership and New Business, your role will involve:
1. Core New Business activity: Researching and development of prospect lists for priority industries to implement New Business campaigns capable of securing multi-year high value partnerships. Responsibility for building Street Child’s network of corporate relationships and growing pipeline of corporate partnership opportunities.
2. Partnership and proposition development: Working closely with our colleagues in the Corporate Partnerships and Global Programme Funding teams to develop engaging and impactful partnership plans and project propositions, focusing on priority countries and programmes to support Street Child’s strategy and mission.

4. Supporting on cross-organisational fundraising activations: Leading on new corporate engagement activities, including new fundraising and sponsorship activations, to support cross-organisational initiatives including our Spring Gala, annual Back to School Campaign and other key milestones throughout the year.
Key activities in this role:
- Development of New Business engagement plans – identifying, researching, engaging and cultivating new corporate prospects and relationships;
- Implementing ambitious New Business campaigns to target priority industries, including the oversight of prospecting and marketing mapping activity;

This interim role is designed to cover a 12 month parental leave period, and will join during a period of wider organisational change. Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities

PR Manager
We are looking for a PR Manager to support our busy press office team, specifically to lead on research and policy communications.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of PR & Media, the role will help deliver key national media campaigns that call for change to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke and raise the profile of our stroke research.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Managing the team to deliver a proactive, effective and 24/7 press office, building relationships with identified media and opinion formers, and ensure timely media responses based on organisational and reputational priorities.
· Working with the Campaigns and Public Affairs team to plan and deliver influencing activity to key stakeholders, Stroke Association campaigners and the general public.
· Working with the Research Communications team to lead the PR approach in promoting grant opportunities, new research and responding to media enquiries.
About You
You will have experience of:
· Drafting, executing and monitoring PR plans against identified briefs and overarching objectives, to deliver strategic communications objectives and to promote specific campaigns
· Managing productive long-term relationships with news and health journalists in the national media
· Working with Policy and Research functions to deliver sustained media coverage, with a strong call to action, ideally in the healthcare sector
· Producing robust and integrated media campaign evaluations
· Working with social media teams
· Working effectively and independently with external agencies and partner organisations (e.g. NHS England)
· Crisis and reputation management
· Managing a team, including during change and of remote line management

JOB PURPOSE
