Purpose of the job/About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Dementia UK’s Marketing and Communications Team.
As the Designer, you will bring our brand to life through high-quality, compelling, and on-brand design work across a range of offline and online assets. We are currently at the early stages of a brand review project, and you’ll play a pivotal part in activating and rolling out our refreshed brand across various channels in 2025.
Day to day, you’ll collaborate closely with the Editorial Manager to review and update our suite of information leaflets. Working on a wide range of projects across the charity, you will collaborate with teams such as Fundraising, Clinical, Campaigns, and Business Development. Additionally, you’ll provide feedback on designs developed by agencies and external suppliers, ensuring they align with our visual identity, in conjunction with the Senior Creative Manager.
As a champion of the Dementia UK brand, you’ll maintain brand consistency across design projects, support brand and design approvals, and monitor the brand inbox.
To succeed in this role, you will have solid experience working in design within an in-house team or agency, in a multi-disciplinary graphic design role. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud, along with strong design knowledge, is essential. You should be well-organised, capable of managing your own workload, and able to work with your line manager to assess capacity. Additionally, you will have experience championing and adhering to brand guidelines, as well as incorporating accessibility principles into your designs.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Community Education Officer plays an important role in both collaborating with communities to take part in shared learning and disseminating findings to wider audiences throughout the project, informing how it develops and boosting its impact. You will work in partnership with individuals and their communities, under the supervision of the Senior Project Manager as part of the education and advocacy programme. This will include cooperative identification of changes to the food system in Knowsley in the last century, engaging project participants in discussing those changes and raising awareness to wider audiences, supporting the project to achieve its aim of creating a shared understanding and celebrating Knowsley’s heritage and influencing strategies to shape the future of the borough, through sustained, quality engagement. Key Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility for leading the collaborative learning process with community stakeholders in Knowsley (e.g., community groups, local schools).
- Work with individuals, groups and communities to explore the food and farming heritage of Knowsley, creating a shared understanding of what came before Knowsley’s establishment as a Metropolitan Borough.
- Contribution towards the planning and execution of events and workshops in Knowsley in collaboration with the team at Feedback and key community stakeholders.

The Role
The Live Music Coordinator will facilitate the delivery of live music experiences across the North of England, improving the health and wellbeing of children and adults through the healing power of live music.
You will work with professional musicians to share live music with people who may not otherwise get to experience it, organising programmes with partner organisations, in line with the organisation’s strategy and operational plan.
You will also support the delivery of the annual programme of live music experiences communicating with hospitals, hospices, care homes and the community. This includes those living with dementia, who have mental health problems, or who are seriously ill.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Coordination of the live music programme
- Prepare reports and appropriate feedback to the Live Music Manager and support to the Fundraising and Communications team as per the reporting timeframes required

- Encourage, collate and monitor feedback reports from healthcare centres, participants and musicians

Running Comic Relief’s busy Press Office alongside PR campaigns is a responsibility shared by all team members. Media and PR
