About us
Who we are
Street Storage is the only UK charity providing free, accessible and safe storage to people experiencing homelessness.
We fundraise for and source manned storage units, storing the belongings of over 350 people a year. People come to us from sleeping outside, fleeing domestic abuse, leaving care, after illegal eviction or leaving care to name a few. We support them on a one to one basis through an advocacy programme, as well as provide a transport service collecting their items from sleep sites/hostels/evicted property and bringing them safely to us.
Our culture and values
We treat people with dignity and respect and we give people hope in an often hopeless situation. We are unique, innovative and experienced. We speak out against injustices and don't consider ourselves 'part of the system'. We are proud to be small and mighty!
