Purpose Statement

The postholder will be a key member of the central administration team of the Rank Foundation. 

Key Accountabilities

Secretariat support to governance committees:

- Drafting agendas, production and dissemination of papers for Committees and Board meetings to trustees

- Attendance to governance meetings, minute taking, and following up on actions

- Organising RFL annual governance schedule of meetings

- Liaising and acting as point of contact for trustees

- Arranging meetings for Execs and Trustees

- Drafting and issuing comms as needed by the Chair, Trustees and Execs

- Maintaining governance records and register of trustees’ interests up-to date

- Assisting with audit queries as and when required

- Managing the periodic review of Committees’ Terms of References

- Planning induction programme of new trustees

- Undertaking regular reviews of policies, staff handbook, trustee hanbook and ensuring currency and developing new ones as required

- Supporting with implementation of  EDI strategy and the Foundation’s vision

- Occasional out of office hours meeting attendance as/ when required

HR

- Facilitating recruitment activities including posting and monitoring job ads, shortlisting of candidates, recommending list for interview and liaising with candidates

- Onboarding of resources: references, right to work checks, drafting of contracts and offer letters, planning of induction programme, sourcing of IT kit/required equipment, arranging IT induction

- Offboarding of resources: ensuring resources are removed access to SharePoint, emails and laptop wiped. Monitoring of dormant inboxes.

- Management and administration of Breathe (HR Platform)

Young Enterprise is a national education charity working with schools and colleges to help young people prepare for their future. This role supports the continued development of YE’s impact by providing young people with opportunities to engage in YE’s enterprise and financial education programmes building vital skills, developing an enterprising mindset, and enabling them to make a positive contribution to their community and society.

As Educational Partnerships Manager you will be a key contributor to the regional London & South East Educational Partnerships team, working directly with young people and teachers in schools to deliver and support delivery of YE’s full suite of programmes.

The Educational Partnerships Manager role will suit someone that is able to work with young people, build rapport and engage young people from a range of backgrounds. As our Marketing Manager (Regular Giving Growth), you will lead innovative campaigns that enhance the value of our Regular Giving donor base. Through strategic planning and a deep understanding of donor motivations, you will drive income by increasing both the volume and value of our regular supporters.

About the role

The emergence of nature markets offers the potential for significant private investment in nature restoration in the UK. Plantlife has successfully piloted a model of three-way partnership to deliver financial and technical support to landowners to enable high integrity delivery, coupled with verified outputs and assurance to investors and buyers.
In this rapidly evolving landscape, we now need to accelerate scaling up of this model to deliver nature restoration at pace, scale and in partnership. This role will develop demand side partnerships with decision makers in key sectors – those who have the capacity to drive investment into nature restoration - particularly finance and insurance.

About the Role

The Director of Partnerships will lead TASC’s partnership efforts, responsible for cultivating and securing new partnerships, and delivering on partnership strategies. You will manage relationships with key strategic partners, donors, civil society allies, and academic stakeholders. The Director of Partnerships will work closely with the CEO, contributing to the charity’s broader external relations activities, while operating with independence and professionalism.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

• Right to work in London.

ActionAid UK is seeking a Senior Business Development Specialist to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in driving our mission. The Institutional Funding Business Development team is a key delivery partner in ActionAid UK’s current strategy to promote a world where women and girls are valued, live free from violence, and can exercise their rights to promote their own economic empowerment, safety, equality and voice. We are looking for someone who has experience in managing the development of large grants (including working in consortia) and has strong knowledge and experience working on commercial contracts (particularly FCDO). Job purpose:

The Website Content Manager will lead on the content strategy for our new and improved website - delivering engaging content which inspires our audiences to take action from praying to donating in order for Muslim Hands to continue it’s lifesaving work. The Website Manager will have oversight of all pages, from blogs to appeals, responsible for optimising our each for SEO and CRO.

Main responsibilities:

• Produce and publish new pages from appeals to blogs in line with the organisation’s needs – this includes copywriting and liaising with designers for creative.
• Create and deliver the website content strategy inline with our key fundraising touchpoints – delivering an approach which puts the audience at the centre of our plans.
• Lead on our SEO strategy in partnership with our agency to deliver SEO audits, SEO driven blogs and to improve our overall website ranking.
• Lead on creating and delivering our conversion rate optimisation strategy.
• Deliver a test plan of website content which optimises the user experience.
• Create, update and audit website pages in line with the orgs needs. Including copy, creative, landing pages, functions, journeys in line with our brand guidelines.
• Work closely with the external developers to suggest new features we’d like to test in terms of the site’s functionality.
• Communicate website updates to the wider organisation.
• Lead on reporting for organic search, SEO and CRO metrics on a weekly and monthly basis – sharing with SLT.
• Work closely with the digital marketing team to provide optimal user journeys to improve our fundraising and retention efforts.

Person specification:

• A strategic thinker who will problem solve to deliver the website strategy.

Role context:

Cord’s turnover is about £2m a year. About 85% of Cord’s funding is restricted, coming from institutional donors like the EU and the US government, and 15% (about £300K) is unrestricted coming from a committed UK supporter base and other private fundraising streams.

The Finance Manager role is a newly created role which is being introduced to strengthen the organisation’s financial management and control systems. The postholder will work across the breadth of the finance function preparing internal management accounts and external annual accounts.

In 2024, Cord changed its finance system to use Business Central. The Finance Manager will become the organisation’s main ‘admin’ user of the finance system. In the near-term, there will be a particular focus on rolling out further functionality of the system.

The Finance Manager will have oversight of the UK finance function through the line management of the UK Finance Officer and will directly deliver on the international side of operations in the areas of donor compliance, programme financial management, partner financial monitoring, and reporting. The role will involve travel to international programme locations.

• To support the Head of Operations to provide finance team leadership, develop and deliver an annual finance workplan to ensure continual improvement, and to drive finance capacity across the organisation
• To ensure the effective financial management of the organisation create and maintain effective financial control

• To ensure financial compliance: prepare statutory accounts, partner compliance, donor compliance and financial reporting
