Purpose

The HR Administrator role is an excellent opportunity for someone with HR or admin experience, who is interested in starting/progressing an HR career and looking to gain experience in a friendly but busy small HR team. The role provides a day-to-day HR admin service to employees and HR admin support to the part time HR team (two HR Business Partners and the Head of People & Development). The HR Administrator will be involved in using an HR and payroll system, ADP, and have an important role in the employee lifecycle processes e.g., DBS checks, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, payroll, appraisals, and have day-to-day responsibility for the HR and Recruitment Outlook mailboxes.

Main Responsibilities

Working in the HR team, reporting to a HR Business Partner, your main responsibilities will cover:

Contribute towards the achievement of CUK and its strategic objectives

• Provide high standards of HR admin support to Citizens UK stakeholders.

• Play an important role in introducing new and improving existing HR processes for a better HR service delivery and employee experience.

• Be proactive in supporting the HR team in various streams of work to achieve the HR Business Plan.

Achieve work targets effectively

• New Starter Onboarding Process: creating documents for HRBP approval (offer letters and contracts), ensuring all starter paperwork is returned, requesting and tracking the return of references, right to work checks, and setting up new starter compliance training.

• Leavers: leading on leaver admin process, ensuring it is completed in timely manner.

• Recruitment: becoming an expert user of Applied, our applicant tracking system.  Advertising jobs (on Applied and external jobsites), arranging interviews and supporting colleagues with recruitment queries.

• Invoicing and Credit Card Reconciliation: processing invoices on Finance system, Kissflow and the monthly credit card reconciliation for HR transactions.  

• Payroll - accurately updating and maintaining ADP, the HR & Payroll database. Uploading documents, running reports. Supporting HRBPs with payroll queries.

• Regularly updating and auditing other HR data to ensure information is up to date (e.g., pensions data, new starter training, wellbeing data).

• Employment checks: maintaining the DBS list and processing DBS checks for existing and new staff.

• SharePoint: maintaining HR Self Service folder, ensuring documents are up to date.

• Appraisals: ensuring appraisal forms are logged and uploaded to ADP.

We are looking for an Early Intervention Project Worker who can cover the South of England, primarily you will be home based, supporting members through phone calls and using online platforms.  You will be required to attend clinics, events and meet members one to one where necessary within your allocated area and occasionally across wider areas and nationally. 

Purpose of the role 

• To deliver Shine's Little Stars (funded by The National Lottery Community Fund) project for 0–12-year-olds, supporting early years and younger members with their families, their diagnosis and beyond across the Southern Region. To provide advice, support and guidance to enable people with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus to access the correct benefits to become financially stable, the right services to improve their health and well-being, and to better co-ordinate their support and independence through a variety of methods.

About the role:

The post of Group Facilitator will be to provide support to victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence within group work provision.

At FearFree we run various trauma-informed groups for victims such as Empowering You (an educational domestic abuse online support group) and Rediscovering You, a face-to-face emotional wellbeing recovery group.

We are looking for experienced and motivated staff to join to help deliver the group work programmes we run around locations in Wiltshire. Groups run in the morning, afternoon and evening. Training for the groups will be provided.

In addition to facilitating groups, staff will be asked to attend training events and meetings, including regular supervision.

• To facilitate group work provisions across the Wiltshire Service on weekdays, including afternoons and evenings.

We are recruiting a Community Development Officer to engage key partners and stakeholders in the region tailoring support, training and education to create suicide safer communities.

In this role you will:

· Identify, develop and maintain effective partnerships with local communities, volunteers and key partners across the region to engage them in the prevention of young suicide.

· Proactively promote suicide prevention including raising the profile of PAPYRUS and engaging with those personally affected by young suicide.

· Equip a wide range of stakeholders to enable them to create sustainable suicide safer communities through the provision of tailored support, training and education.

· Deliver training and awareness raising products to a variety of groups including professionals, parents, young people, volunteers and other trainers.

· Contribute to the development and review of projects, and education and training products, in line with the Strategic Plans.

· Contribute to and promote campaigns, training and opportunities as outlined in the Regional and Strategic Plans.

· Represent the charity at events including conferences, panels, working groups and through media channels as required.

· Record, monitor and report on data to evaluate our projects and demonstrate impact.

To be successful in this role you will have:

· Previous experience working in a community setting, delivering information and training sessions, leading workshops or educational activities

The Role Within Unseen

Unseen provides support to people who have experienced Modern Slavery and Human trafficking and actively champions capturing voices in our work and providing development opportunities for those we are working with.

The Policy & Research team are currently leading three projects. The Survivor Involvement Coordinator will support in the delivery of these projects.

 This role will work with Unseen’s Policy & Research Team and have regular interactions with staff across Unseen’s wider teams including Support Services, Fundraising, Media & Communications and Operations.

Purpose of the role

The postholder will support the collation of lived experience voices into our research work focused on policy impact on what really works to prevent modern slavery. The postholder will work closely with the Policy & Partnerships Manager, the Policy & Partnerships Officer, Senior Caseworkers and Unseen’s Survivor Consultant Volunteers and be responsible for supporting and improving our wellbeing activities, survivor voice forum and consultant focus groups.

•    Experience in shaping and implementing organisational strategy as well as setting and managing multi-million £ budgets, having the responsibility to report to executive levels.
•    Experience in delivering operational leadership, change management and high performance across the Operations function including multiple complex projects. 
•    Welsh language will be beneficial or have the willingness to learn.
•    The role is based in in Wales and will require the successful candidate to undertake travel across a wide area. A full driving licence is required.
