About the position
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced HR generalist to join a leading international anti-slavery organisation. You will be leading in a London-based HR and Operations team of four staff with high levels of autonomy and the ability to make a visible difference. You will be responsible for designing and delivering an effective HR strategy for the global organisation, as well as overseeing the London-based operations team. Responsibilities
Lead the Global HR Function
· Lead on HR strategy and delivery across the global organisation – currently comprising approximately 85 staff in 10 countries
· Provide high quality and timely employee relations and change management advice and support to the Senior Leadership Team
· Manage renumeration and benefits globally, ensuring the Freedom Fund’s continuing ability to attract and retain a high performing team
· Oversee relationships with several Employers of Record and external payroll providers globally
· Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures and guidelines and staff handbooks globally

This role will see you support an established, enjoyable, professional development programme for city farms, community gardens and care farms. In London you'll focus on training and showcase events, and nationwide you'll lead on helping organisations achieve the Green Care Quality Mark. The role will suit someone creative, methodical and comfortable with people. The role involves getting out and about, but most of the work is office work. This role does not include any practical gardening or farming activities.

b) Green Care Quality Mark (GCQM) Administration - 1.5 days a week
To support the UK-Wide GCQM programme liaising with our panel of Assessors, assigning applications for review and inputting data into our ‘Civi’ CRM.
The programme helps green care practitioners such as care farms demonstrate to clients, funders, commissioners, referrers and volunteers that they operate a safe, professional and caring place to be.
The post holder will be responsible for administration and promotion of the GCQM, and supported by managers to retain participants of the scheme, attract new enrolments, and increase the associated earned income for SF&G.
c) SF&G Membership Support.
A half day a week will be dedicated to supporting SF&Gs UK- wide membership programme through social media, newsletters and database management.

CJC is a broad coalition of NGOs, trade unions and law firms, encompassing a range of political and thematic priorities, from workers’ rights and modern slavery, to climate and the environment, global justice and the rights of women and girls, children and indigenous peoples. But what brings us together is a shared commitment to ending corporate impunity for human rights abuses and environmental destruction: in line with this, collaborative work for change alongside our partners is at the heart of all we do.
We’re at a crucial point in a campaign which spans advocacy, public communications and engagement with businesses, and seeks to ensure the implementation of a ‘Business, Human Rights and Environment Act’ in the UK. This legislation would help end corporate abuses of human rights and the environment, and make it easier for victims to access justice. At an exciting juncture for the campaign, the successful applicant will play a central role in shaping it and driving it forward, working alongside our civil society partners to do so.

What we’re looking for

You’ll be enthusiastic and full of ideas, able to juggle multiple deadlines and tasks, while being ready to show initiative and take ownership of your area of work.
You don’t need to be a policy expert on our issues, but you’ll need to have the ability to rapidly gain an understanding of what we work on and why, and advocate for these issues to Parliamentarians and civil servants.
Facilitating joint work alongside our coalition partners is fundamental to everything we do, so we’re looking for someone who already has experience of working in coalitions or in the not-for-profit sector - whether in the UK charity sector or elsewhere - and who will be at ease regularly communicating with other organisations and facilitating meetings which can have multiple organisations in attendance. We need someone who recognises and understands the value of civil society groups collaborating effectively, and is good communicator comfortable working with stakeholders at multiple levels.
You will update and ensure the delivery of the advocacy strategy for the campaign, leading regular calls with coalition partners, so it’s crucial that you’re comfortable with and enjoy collaborative work with others. You’ll drive forward our engagement with policy makers, thinking up strategies for engagement and potential approaches. You will be supported by a team and engaged Board, as well as coalition partners, but will be encouraged to take ownership of your areas of work and develop proposals for action.

ABOUT THE JOB
Job Purpose
We are looking for an exemplary people-oriented administrator to provide administrative support to the Gestalt Centre CEO and the workstreams she manages. An important role in the organisation, working with senior leadership and across teams, in a welcoming and supportive environment with opportunities to learn and grow on the job.
Areas of work and responsibility
- Personal Administration Support to the Gestalt Centre CEO
- Coordinate and support projects and workstreams the CEO leads on: Operations, Communications and Marketing, Short Courses and Post Graduate Qualifications, HR, Finance, Policies, Fundraising and Health & Safety.
- Liaise with the CEO and the leadership team to update the organisational plan and workstream plans, also keep track of relevant priority actions and progress.
- Provide administrative support for governance processes such as the audit and reporting to the Trustees Board, the Charity Commission and Companies House.
- Provide administrative support to the CEO and Trustees with organising and running fundraising activities and events.
- Liaise with the CEO to support the coordination of the annual setting of dates for the Short Courses and Post Graduate Qualifications programmes.
- Organise, provide administrative support, and attend as appropriate, weekly operational meetings, monthly Executive meetings, and other project meetings, led by the CEO. Prepare meetings set up, information and any required papers in advance. Organise dates, taking and sending out minutes and coordinate follow-up actions ensuring progress and completion.
- Liaise with the CEO to prepare, format, edit and update reports and policies for internal and external audiences to a high standard.
- Provide a professional first point of contact for the CEO and as required liaise with her and the leadership team in order to respond to emails or phone calls and organise follow up meetings.
- Provide coordination and administrative support for specific projects led by Leadership Team members - as and when required.
- Office team support such as reception/admin cover or support with events, as and when occasionally required.

Fundraising is still a relatively new activity for DFN Project SEARCH and this role presents the opportunity to play a key part in its expansion to support the further growth of the charity and enable young adults with a learning disability to lead healthier, happier, and more independent lives.
This role will support the Director of Development in implementing DFN Project SEARCH’s fundraising strategy. To date the strategy has focused on securing a small number of larger gifts from philanthropic sources, such as trusts and foundations. This role will lead on the development and implementation of the strategy to secure income from high-net-worth individuals (between five and potentially seven figures) and will also work with the Director of Development and the Development Officer on securing income from, and stewarding, trusts, foundations, and statutory funders. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team there is also the opportunity to input to the wider strategy and development of the charity and support the Director of Development in their role as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
