Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) is a faith-based humanitarian relief and development organisation working to save and transform the lives of some of the world’s most vulnerable people. In the UK, IRW has a partner whose main role is to raise funds, raise awareness, carry out advocacy and support domestic programmes: this partner is called Islamic Relief UK (IRUK).
Islamic Relief UK (IRUK) is actively recruiting for the position of ‘Digital Partnerships Coordinator’ on a full time, permanent basis, to be based from its Waterloo Office, London. The organisation is currently operating to a hybrid working model.
The purpose of the role is to maintain existing and develop new partnerships with social media influencers, and digital publishers, to broaden the reach of Islamic Relief UK’s messaging and campaigns, as part of Islamic Relief UK’s wider influencer programme.
To raise funds for Islamic Relief’s life-saving programmes by leveraging new and existing digital partnerships.
The successful candidate must have:
- Demonstrable experience of implementing digital engagement and social media campaigns to garner support for a cause
- Understanding of the major technology-driven changes and trends affecting the online media and advertising industries
- Experience of creating convincing proposals, pitch documents and/or presentations to attract new partnerships or sponsorships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Managing influencer marketing campaigns and/or campaigns with digital/social media publishers
- Recruiting high profile individuals and/or social media influencers to support marketing campaigns
- Developing digital content geared towards the British Muslim community
- Experience in live video production, and utilising live video to deliver engagement and communicate interesting and/or urgent messages to supporters and would be supporters
- Relationship and stakeholder management
- Negotiating and influencing, both internally and externally
- Understanding of charity/third sector marketing
- Be able to deliver presentations and sell new ideas at board level.

JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking a dynamic, creative and experienced corporate partnerships new business expert to join our team.
This pivotal new role will be responsible for securing high-value, seven-figure (financial and non-financial) partnerships with corporate entities that protect and empower refugees globally.
The successful candidate will oversee the development and implementation of strategic partnership prospecting, manage relationships with key corporate prospects, and line manage a Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer.
This role is an 18-month fixed-term contract.

Role Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a new comprehensive business development strategy that will lead to seven-figure, sustainable corporate partnerships, delivering both unrestricted and restricted income.
- Coordinate market research to identify potential high value, strategic corporate partners that can deliver income, visibility and shared value for UK for UNHCR and UNHCR.
- Proactively approach prospects for partnership discussions.
- Develop stewardship plans for top prospects, ensuring full use of senior leadership, technical colleagues and established private sector network.
- Develop unique combined financial and non-financial partnership propositions that lead to transformational partnerships.
- Lead the prospecting cycle: from first meeting, through to opportunity development, through to negotiation and contracting.
- Supervise and mentor a Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer.
- Work closely with internal teams, including Philanthropy and Communications, to align partnership efforts with organisational priorities.
- Remain flexible and quickly respond to emergency situations, identifying and responding to fundraising opportunities at pace.
- Represent UK for UNHCR at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and build connections.

The AFRUCA Child Protection Family Support Service sits within AFRUCA as one of our most impactful programmes targeting families from a range of ethnic backgrounds across England and Wales. The service works closely with local authorities children’s services in cases involving families on child protection plans or in court proceedings. We provide direct one to one training and support for parents to aid their ability to provide appropriate parenting and ensure a safer, happier home environment for their children.
The AFRUCA Child Protection Service currently has a team of five qualified social workers and supports over 50 families each year. We also provide a therapeutic service where children are being reunified with their parents. We are establishing a child protection legal drop in service for families in contact with children’s services and an advocacy service for parents in the child protection system.
Most of our families are referred by local authorities children’s services as a result of cultural and religious practices which are deemed harmful to children’s well-being. We offer qualified social workers who do not wish to work in the statutory sector with an alternative approach to practising social work where empathy, kindness and support is key to our work with families. Our ultimate aim is a reduction of children in Black and Ethnic communities going into or remaining in foster care. We offer a non oppressive and non judgemental service that helps to promote the well-being of children in safe families.

We are looking for a creative written communicator with an excellent eye for detail to tell the story of The Listening Place, our volunteers and our visitors.
The Listening Place offers free, confidential, face-to-face support for people feeling suicidal, provided by highly trained volunteers using active listening skills. Over eight years, the charity has grown rapidly, with now over 800 volunteers delivering up to 150 appointments daily across three sites. TLP receives 750 new referrals every month and will provide support to 8000 people struggling with suicidal feelings this year. This growth, achieved without waiting lists, highlights how TLP balances ambition with a commitment to high-quality, person-centered support. With plans to expand to East London and strong donor and media interest, it’s an exciting time to join this effective, community-led service.
This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for giving TLP a voice across external and internal communications. Through dependable, precise and creative communications, you will help TLP meet its three key communication objectives:
- To inspire and retain volunteers and supporters.
- To influence public and stakeholder opinion on how to deliver effective suicide prevention services.
- To help recruit new volunteers.

The Communications Coordinator will:
Working under the direction of the Head of Fundraising and Communications, the Communications Coordinator will be responsible for the development, delivery, analysis and growth of TLP’s communications through effective copy for internal and external stakeholders. This includes:
- Leading on day-to-day account management and content creation for organic and paid activity on TLP social media channels.
- Planning and executing activities for national campaigns including World Suicide Prevention Day and Mental Health Week.
- Working with and supporting teams from across the organisation to execute engaging internal and external communications and digital campaigns including monthly volunteer and supporter newsletters.
- To act as a point of contact for teams for communications related queries, maintaining a good understanding of approaches, channels and technologies in order to do this.
- Recognise, mitigate and appropriately escalate communications related incidents and risks including reputation management, information governance and sensitivity issues.
- Regularly reviewing website content, looking for ways to constantly improve user experience.
- Compiling regular monthly statistics and analytical reports, evaluating our online performance against agreed metrics.

About SRUK
Scleroderma & Raynaud’s UK (SRUK) is the only charity dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by Scleroderma and/or Raynaud’s. We exist to improve awareness and understanding of these conditions, to support those affected, and ultimately to find a cure.
The role
You will be working with an ambitious and diverse team to lead, shape and deliver communication and campaign strategies to raise awareness and understanding of Scleroderma & Raynaud’s. You will grow brand awareness and increase SRUK’s impact in achieving recognition for the needs of the community and the urgency of the cause. You will oversee SRUK’s communications, campaigns and marketing activities. A highly autonomous role, you will work closely with our research, services and fundraising teams, to drive forward a digital approach for all engagement and development activities. · At least 8 years’ experience in a similar manager role or a senior officer ready for the next challenge of managing a communications and campaigns team.

The Child Brain Injury Trust was originally set up by a group of medical professionals. The organisation has evolved over the years and is now the leading UK organisation supporting families and professionals affected by childhood acquired brain injury. As Head of our Brain Injury Service, you will be joining the charity at an exciting time, as we have just launched our new five-year strategy – Elevating families, enriching futures. The strategy is our most exciting yet as we look to increase our reach and embed 4 key areas of support: early intervention (currently we work in major trauma centres and specialist hospitals across the UK), community inclusion, educational services and virtual support. Although our programme delivery model is not completely defined and embedded, we have a strong framework and a dedicated team who are eager and committed to our strategic goals. We are developing our service in line with the future needs of families and as such we are looking to appoint an individual who is passionate about childhood acquired brain injury, team development and leadership. The purpose of this role is to provide overall strategic input, direction, development and operational management for the national brain Injury support service. To lead our whole brain injury service team to achieve the five-year strategy.
As well as exceptional leadership and management skills, you will need to enjoy developing and maintaining relationships with a large range of key stakeholders from the clinical, legal and corporate sectors.

We are looking for a part time Information & Advocacy Community Support Worker in Scotland. You will be home based living in the North of Scotland.
You will ensure that service users (children and adults) and their families, receive high quality support, from the point of diagnosis and throughout their journey, and will assist them to access funding, equipment and care and support that they are entitled to. You will join a team that makes a real difference to the lives of the people living with muscle-wasting conditions, and their families, in Scotland. The role will be primarily home based, but there will also be a requirement to attend outpatient clinics within the region, attend home visits where appropriate and to support responding to queries through the helpline and information inbox. Some travel will be required to attend meetings and events outside of Scotland. You will work with both statutory and voluntary organisations, clinicians, and health and social care professionals to ensure that people living with muscle wasting conditions get the care and support they need to live well and independently.

JOB PURPOSE
There has never been a more challenging time for refugees. As our Director of People, you will provide strategic leadership and direction for human resources and organisational development, ensuring the charity remains a top-tier employer that attracts, retains, and develops talent. United Kingdom for UNHCR is the United Nations Refugee Agency’s national charity partner for the United Kingdom. We generate public awareness and funds to protect refugees through UNHCR’s humanitarian operations across the world.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive People & Skills Strategy aligned with the charity’s mission and goals.
- Develop the annual budget and manage expenditure for all areas of responsibility.
- Lead the creation of a positive organisational culture, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion at all levels.
- Advise the CEO and senior leadership on HR issues, trends, and best practices.
- Champion staff well-being, engagement, and development, ensuring a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Represent the charity at external HR and humanitarian forums, conferences, and events.
- Work closely with the Board of Trustees and lead in the management of the Board’s Remuneration Committee.
Recruitment and Talent Management
- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring the charity attracts diverse and qualified candidates.
- Develop talent retention strategies, ensuring the charity is an employer of choice in the humanitarian sector.
- Implement learning and development programmes to nurture leadership, enhance skills, and ensure compliance with sector-specific training (e.g., fundraising / line management skills, safeguarding, data protection).
Performance and HR Compliance
- Oversee performance management systems, ensuring they are fair, transparent, and supportive of staff development.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation, including employment contracts, grievances, disciplinary procedures, and workplace policies.
- Provide oversight of health and safety regulations, safeguarding standards, and risk management across all organisational levels.
- Responsible for maintaining and continuousy improving the charity’s HR software system and other HR platforms.
- Ensure compliance with data protection laws for all HR related information.
- Use data to generate insights, inform decision-making and improve processes.
Employee Engagement and Culture
- Lead on creating a culture of collaboration, empathy, and shared commitment to the charity’s values.
- Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and motivation.
- Ensure effective communication channels between leadership and staff, including regular staff surveys and feedback mechanisms.
Key Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role in the UK charity sector.
- Solid understanding of UK employment law and most recent best practices. A commitment to continuous professional development in this area.
- Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with experience implementing organisational change in this area.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations issues sensitively and effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels of the organisation.
- Level 7 CIPD qualification (or equivalent) highly desirable.
- Experience working in international agencies or NGOs highly desirable.
