Who you are
We need energised, self-starters who are passionate about helping others, to join our fantastic team.
We are looking for people who have a background in providing emotional support and practical research and advocacy for vulnerable people after a serious psychological trauma such as the death of a loved one in violent circumstances.
Specifically we are seeking candidates with:

experience of frontline care for people in crisis with acute vulnerabilities and risks (desirable but not essential)
-
comprehensive understanding of the processes involved in the criminal justice system (desirable but not essential)
-
research and advocacy skills – you get crucial things done through liaison with external agencies
-
significant resilience, and willingness to be professionally developed and clinically supervised
-
a full UK driving licence, with access to your own transport and are willing to use it for work purposes (we reimburse travelling expenses).
Candidates must be able to speak Welsh. You will be expected to support families who are first language Welsh.

Experience gained in the following kinds of roles tends to transfer well to the role of caseworker at Brake: police force, roles within the criminal justice system, family liaison officer, counsellor, experience in health and social care or previous caseworker experience in any area.
The greatest reward comes from knowing you have made a real positive difference to someone’s recovery from psychological trauma, and the emotional or practical challenges presented by their sudden bereavement or serious injury.

The role
With the growth in demand from businesses to join the B Corp movement, we have created this role to assist the Finance team with a range of activities as we move to a new accounting system that meets the needs and demands of our growing organisation. We outsource the day to day bookeeping work but the Sales Ledger invoicing will remain in house.
We are looking for a team member who has ideas and thoughts on how to improve the way we work and can input into the development of Finance Policy and Procedures.
Tasks and responsibilities will include:

Checking the finance email inbox and other forms of communication, dealing with queries, actioning and/or forwarding as appropriate and capturing all relevant information

Working with Finance Officer and other team members to ensure completeness of member data such as invoicing address, contact details, pricing and credit terms in relevant databases (Salesforce and Xledger)

Liaising with the outsourced service and internal staff members to ensure supplier queries are resolved and payments are made in a timely manner

Working with the Head of Finance to prepare year end information for the external audit

Working with the current Finance Officer to maintain a centralised record of all relevant communications.

Assist Debit Card holders with administrative tasks linked to card usage

Working with Finance staff to document and implement financial processes and procedures

Assist with continuous improvement of systems, controls and working practices in finance and other areas of the organisation

Oasis Community Hub East Southampton are recruiting for an experienced Lead Youth Worker to work alongside the youth and community hub team in East Southampton. This positive, adaptable and talented youth worker will help us to deliver detached youth work and mentoring. Supporting the development of a team and building youth leadership opportunities.
The role will be focussed on the East Southampton community surrounding Oasis Academies Mayfield and Sholing and the Harefield Hub space. Delivering detached work, alongside other partners using our Oasis Youth van; delivering mentoring in schools and supporting and developing a youth team.
Key responsibilities will be:
· To develop and deliver a youth work programme engaging with young people across East Southampton in school and community settings. To Include:

The successful post holder must have:
· Proven experience of leading work with young people in formal and informal settings

· Understanding of monitoring and evaluation in youth work
· Knowledge of safeguarding practices and health and safety.

Age UK Westminster is seeking a Digital Inclusion Coordinator to join our home visiting digital inclusion team funded by Central North West London NHS Foundation Trust.
