We are looking for a dedicated Advocacy Campaigns Manager to join our Advocacy team within Action Against Hunger UK's Operations department.  This is a great time to join our team as we broaden the reach of our public advocacy campaigns to a wider audience. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead on developing and delivering our advocacy campaigns strategy, and also supporting with policy and parliamentary work. Our advocacy and campaigns focus on tackling the key drivers of hunger – conflict, climate change, poverty and inequality – and promoting improved response.

On the campaigns front, this role means spending around three days on designing and delivering creative and engaging online campaign actions, in collaboration with skilled colleagues across teams, organizing campaign events and building the engagement of chef and food industry supporters in our advocacy. This also requires having a good understanding of the political landscape and opportunities and distilling policy asks into engaging public campaign messaging.

You will also get to spend around two days per week supporting with policy work, such as drafting position papers or letters and working closely with our Head of Advocacy and Parliamentary Relations Manager on MP engagement. The organisation is in their most exciting period of change for years. They are at the start of a large digital transformation programme, overhauling their current systems in multiple areas. As part of this, they are replacing their fundraising database and want to make sure their supporter data is connected and used well across the whole organisation.

They have recently started the project and chosen a CRM and partner to deliver it, but now they need someone to spearhead the data angle and drive the project forward alongside the Strategic Transformation Project Manager and Data Manager.

We are looking for someone who has either led or been heavily involved with a CRM migration before. The successful person will understand the importance of putting data at the heart of driving decision making, and the importance of customer or supporter journey and acquisition.

This is a real opportunity to build an incredible legacy within a passionate charity, building on great work that's been done so far and helping to take it to the next level.

This role is an 18-24 month contract at present, though we anticipate other opportunities may present themselves at the end of this interim period. Our client's HQ is in the Warwickshire area and due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will need to commute in on average 1-2 days per week, though some weeks not at all. Ultimately, you'll be driven by the needs of the project.

About The Role

• Designing and delivering all digital creative media including online challenge brochures, in addition to managing and maintaining the brochure website using WordPress. This requires a basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript to maintain functionality
• Creating a range of content using Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to content for the GAC website and social media channels in addition to providing design support to other areas of the business

Administrative tasks

• Reporting on KPIs from various marketing campaigns including but not limited to Google Ads, Meta Ads, email sends, search engine optimisation (SEO) and other marketing streams
• Providing regular reports and analysis on website usage and trends using GA4
• Accurately reporting the expenditure of marketing campaigns
• Producing PowerPoint Presentations for information events for charities, participants and corporates
• Recording accurate stock levels of all merchandise including but not limited to cycling jerseys, trekking t-shirts and place orders with our supplier as required
• Contributing towards the design and sales of merchandise via the company’s merchandise website
• Line-managing the Marketing Officer, providing guidance and supporting them in their management of our social media channels

 Other tasks

• Developing and suggesting new marketing and client sourcing streams for the business
• Ensuring all correspondence (written and verbal) is to the highest standard
• Alongside Company Directors, implementing any new Marketing procedures that will benefit the business
• Any other duties as and when required under instruction from the Directors.

What we’re looking for:

• Extensive experience in a digital marketing role, including SEO, PPC, social media and email marketing
• Strong knowledge of website analytics tools including GA4 for tracking website performance
• Proven track record in allocating and managing budgets on paid channels, including Google and Meta Ads
• Experience managing WordPress websites, with basic HTML and CSS skills
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite to create image and video content (Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
• Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple projects whilst still meeting deadlines

About the role

The Role

With a strong focus on stewardship, you’ll manage a portfolio of supporters, create tailored engagement opportunities, and deliver compelling cases for support that inspire long-term giving. About You

With knowledge of the principles of relationships fundraising to include identification, research, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of major and mid-level donors, you will have experience of working autonomously and effectively with people at senior or Board level.

Position: 1934 Major Gifts Manager 

Location: This role is nominally based at our site based in Sidmouth, Devon – an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – and we offer hybrid working. We are keen to make the role work for you, and will consider fully remote/home working and flexible working patterns, where required.

About the Role

As Major Gifts Manager, you will provide expertise in Major Gifts, successfully developing the programme in line with agreed annual targets and our Fundraising Strategy. You will work closely with the Head of Major Gifts to evolve and continuously improve the major gift activity, bringing an integrated approach across the charity to deliver the most donor-centric activity, whilst continuously evaluating performance.

Your principal duties and responsibilities will include:

• Inputting into and delivering the Major Gifts Strategy and improving the Major Gift portfolio and performance.

• Delivering and reporting on agreed projects, fundraising targets and KPIs.

• Proactively identifying and delivering new fundraising donors and income growth opportunities within Major Gifts.

• Leading on selected donor cultivation and stewardship projects to support sustainable income growth in Major Gifts, including events and other opportunities;

• Personally securing, managing and stewarding a portfolio of active Mid-Value, Major Donors and Charitable Trusts, forging and maintaining strong and enduring relationships.

• Supporting and growing the Major Gifts cultivation programme and pipeline to grow funders’ understanding of the diversity of the charity’s work.

• Being agile to changing market conditions and trends and working with the Head of Major Gifts to relay this into cultivation and stewardship.

About You

With experience of managing, cultivating, and delivering major gifts, and of planning future major gifts pipeline, you will have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding personal fundraising targets.

You will also have:

• A demonstrable record of building excellent stewardship and successful relationships with supporters at all levels including high net worth supporters, charitable trusts and other major donors.

• Well-developed knowledge of monitoring, evaluation, and interpretation of programme performance.

• Demonstrable experience of project budget management/reporting.

To help achieve this we are significantly expanding our peer educator initiative, an evidence-based and multi award winning model to engage and reach underserved communities, support health awareness and literacy and instigate behavioural change; delivered by trusted, trained peer educators through attendance at events and community spaces. We aim to scale up the roll out and adoption of peer educators within the care pathway across the UK, with a particular focus on improving early detection and diagnosis of chronic kidney disease and associated conditions such as cardiovascular disease and diabetes. 
 
This new post will play a significant role in the growth of the peer education programme and the initial focus of the role will be to:   

• Coordinate the development and delivery of the Peterborough peer educator project 
• Support the development and delivery of the UK wide peer educator programme

The International Organization for Migration in the United Kingdom (IOM UK) delivers a range of programming to support migrants, both in the UK and internationally, including projects focusing on labour migration, migration and development, protection, and community cohesion. 

Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission (COM) and direct supervision of the Programme Coordinator and in close coordination with the Regional Thematic Specialist  (RTS) at the Regional Office (RO) and relevant Divisions/Departments /Units at Headquarters (HQ), the Senior Project Manager will be responsible and accountable for managing, coordinating and overseeing the activities of the North Africa Migration and Development (NAMAD) project.

The NAMAD project aims to enhance skills and labour market integration for migrant and host communities, and to strengthen protection support for vulnerable migrants, in Algeria, Egypt and Tunisia. Based on the needs in each country context, IOM’s targeted interventions will address specific barriers and gaps by offering a range of skills development training, and by providing tailored humanitarian and protection for migrants in vulnerable situations. This will include provision of shelter, case management, multi-purpose cash assistance to meet basic needs, medical support, mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) and legal counselling.

The incumbent will coordinate with country missions in delivery of project activities, monitoring and evaluation also liaise with external stakeholders on matters related to communications, project development and reporting, as well as may represent IOM in external forums and meetings.

The officer will also prepare reports, agendas, minutes and be responsible for the general administration of the council and its working groups. 

The role would suit someone with an interest in community engagement and participation or policy and research in these areas. Role Overview: 

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Marketing, the PR and Comms Manager will be the storyteller for all things Enable! 

They will execute a yearly PR plan for Enable’s charitable missions, as well as provide PR support for Enable’s varied service areas, including Events, Leisure, Putney School of Art and Design, Bereavement and many more. They will be responsible for Enable’s image externally as well as internally and responsible for holding the relationship with our key stakeholders. Main Duties/Responsibilities:  

PR 

• Develop and manage integrated PR campaigns around key company products and moments. 
• Write campaign plans, messaging, and create media-facing materials for Enable as a non-profit company, as long as individual service areas. 
• Create compelling storytelling content to showcase the impact of our work through various platforms (Linkedin, Instagram) 
• Build relationships with key media outlets and secure coverage.

• Develop and execute a communications strategy to raise awareness of our Health and Wellbeing programs and Community Initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the growing and ambitious Individual Giving team at Alzheimer’s Society.  This role within the Committed Giving team is pivotal to helping us reach our exciting goal of doubling our income by 2030.

You will lead our multi-million-pound regular giving acquisition campaigns across multiple channels, including face-to-face, an important and growing channel for us.  This year, we have significantly increased our investment across regular giving and Lottery acquisition, so working closely with the other Individual Giving manager, you will develop and implement plans to diversify our channel mix, testing new propositions and working closely with our creative and media partners.
You will develop the budget for your campaigns, setting ambitious targets and strategies for future growth, and be encouraged to regularly review and push your campaigns to greater heights, playing an active role in modelling our culture of testing, learning, and innovation.

You will have the opportunity to work with many talented and passionate colleagues.  This includes building close relationships with our agency partners to maximise the effectiveness of our campaigns, working alongside the other Individual Giving manager and Agency manager to ensure we have synergies across our campaigns and working with our Stewardship team to ensure the onward journeys and retention are well planned and focused.

You will have the opportunity to manage at least one officer who is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of marketing campaigns. Your role will be to support, challenge and inspire them to succeed – with a real focus on their development.
