We are looking for a dedicated Advocacy Campaigns Manager to join our Advocacy team within Action Against Hunger UK's Operations department.  This is a great time to join our team as we broaden the reach of our public advocacy campaigns to a wider audience. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead on developing and delivering our advocacy campaigns strategy, and also supporting with policy and parliamentary work. Our advocacy and campaigns focus on tackling the key drivers of hunger – conflict, climate change, poverty and inequality – and promoting improved response.

On the campaigns front, this role means spending around three days on designing and delivering creative and engaging online campaign actions, in collaboration with skilled colleagues across teams, organizing campaign events and building the engagement of chef and food industry supporters in our advocacy. This also requires having a good understanding of the political landscape and opportunities and distilling policy asks into engaging public campaign messaging.

You will also get to spend around two days per week supporting with policy work, such as drafting position papers or letters and working closely with our Head of Advocacy and Parliamentary Relations Manager on MP engagement. Administrative tasks

• Providing regular reports and analysis on website usage and trends using GA4
• Accurately reporting the expenditure of marketing campaigns

• Recording accurate stock levels of all merchandise including but not limited to cycling jerseys, trekking t-shirts and place orders with our supplier as required

About the Role

To help achieve this we are significantly expanding our peer educator initiative, an evidence-based and multi award winning model to engage and reach underserved communities, support health awareness and literacy and instigate behavioural change; delivered by trusted, trained peer educators through attendance at events and community spaces. We aim to scale up the roll out and adoption of peer educators within the care pathway across the UK, with a particular focus on improving early detection and diagnosis of chronic kidney disease and associated conditions such as cardiovascular disease and diabetes. 
 
This new post will play a significant role in the growth of the peer education programme and the initial focus of the role will be to:   

• Coordinate the development and delivery of the Peterborough peer educator project 
• Support the development and delivery of the UK wide peer educator programme

The Role

The International Organization for Migration in the United Kingdom (IOM UK) delivers a range of programming to support migrants, both in the UK and internationally, including projects focusing on labour migration, migration and development, protection, and community cohesion. 

Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission (COM) and direct supervision of the Programme Coordinator and in close coordination with the Regional Thematic Specialist  (RTS) at the Regional Office (RO) and relevant Divisions/Departments /Units at Headquarters (HQ), the Senior Project Manager will be responsible and accountable for managing, coordinating and overseeing the activities of the North Africa Migration and Development (NAMAD) project.

The NAMAD project aims to enhance skills and labour market integration for migrant and host communities, and to strengthen protection support for vulnerable migrants, in Algeria, Egypt and Tunisia. Based on the needs in each country context, IOM’s targeted interventions will address specific barriers and gaps by offering a range of skills development training, and by providing tailored humanitarian and protection for migrants in vulnerable situations. This will include provision of shelter, case management, multi-purpose cash assistance to meet basic needs, medical support, mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) and legal counselling.

The incumbent will coordinate with country missions in delivery of project activities, monitoring and evaluation also liaise with external stakeholders on matters related to communications, project development and reporting, as well as may represent IOM in external forums and meetings.

Role Overview: 

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Marketing, the PR and Comms Manager will be the storyteller for all things Enable! 

They will execute a yearly PR plan for Enable’s charitable missions, as well as provide PR support for Enable’s varied service areas, including Events, Leisure, Putney School of Art and Design, Bereavement and many more. They will be responsible for Enable’s image externally as well as internally and responsible for holding the relationship with our key stakeholders. The role also involves supporting the preparation and writing of bids for new contracts to secure funding and expand our services.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:  

PR 

• Develop and manage integrated PR campaigns around key company products and moments. 
• Write campaign plans, messaging, and create media-facing materials for Enable as a non-profit company, as long as individual service areas. 
• Create compelling storytelling content to showcase the impact of our work through various platforms (Linkedin, Instagram) 
• Build relationships with key media outlets and secure coverage. 
• Be a point of contact for key media enquiries. 
• Provide counsel to internal executives on PR challenges and opportunities. 

Campaign Strategy 

• Develop and execute a communications strategy to raise awareness of our Health and Wellbeing programs and Community Initiatives.

Recently our members voted to create a new u3a Council to act as a conduit between the national body and the over 1000 independent u3as throughout the UK. The new Council will be the vehicle by which members’ views and priorities will feed into and shape the overall work of the u3a national body. 

The Council Officer will support the implementation and running of the new u3a Council and play an integral role in embedding the Council into the existing structures of the Trust. Saferworld is looking for a Project Manager to lead the Women, Peace & Security (WPS) Helpdesk within the Conflict Advisory Unit (CAU). In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our UK government call-down service, providing high-quality advisory support to donors, UN agencies, NGOs, and other humanitarian and peacebuilding actors. Your responsibilities include managing project implementation and grant administration, coordinating call-off requests from initiation to completion, and working with teams of experts to ensure the highest quality outcomes.

In addition to maintaining rigorous standards of confidentiality and performance, you will collaborate closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial and narrative reporting. You will also be responsible for promoting and supporting the uptake of helpdesk outputs by regularly updating our online repository. Liaising with UK government departments and officials is a critical part of the role, as it involves generating demand for our advisory services and representing the helpdesk in outreach and strategic engagements.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the growing and ambitious Individual Giving team at Alzheimer’s Society.  This role within the Committed Giving team is pivotal to helping us reach our exciting goal of doubling our income by 2030.

You will lead our multi-million-pound regular giving acquisition campaigns across multiple channels, including face-to-face, an important and growing channel for us.  This year, we have significantly increased our investment across regular giving and Lottery acquisition, so working closely with the other Individual Giving manager, you will develop and implement plans to diversify our channel mix, testing new propositions and working closely with our creative and media partners.
You will develop the budget for your campaigns, setting ambitious targets and strategies for future growth, and be encouraged to regularly review and push your campaigns to greater heights, playing an active role in modelling our culture of testing, learning, and innovation.

You will have the opportunity to work with many talented and passionate colleagues.  This includes building close relationships with our agency partners to maximise the effectiveness of our campaigns, working alongside the other Individual Giving manager and Agency manager to ensure we have synergies across our campaigns and working with our Stewardship team to ensure the onward journeys and retention are well planned and focused.
