Main Role & Responsibilities
Ygam is seeking an Insight and Innovation Officer to join our Insight and Innovation team. The post holder will work with the Head of Insight and Innovation, supporting with research, knowledge translation, evaluations and insights into children and young people’s experiences of gaming and gambling harms.
Our Insight & Innovation team aids the design and delivery of Ygam’s strategy by supporting evidence-based decision making. By working across the charity to leverage and disseminate internal and external insight, the team enables intelligent decision-making and strengthens the organisation’s understanding of the world in which it operates.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an Insight and Innovation Officer to work collaboratively with the Head of Insight & Innovation, and teams from across the organisation to deliver research and stakeholder insight workstreams. The outputs from these workstreams will guide, challenge and provide practical support for the planning, long-term development, and effective delivery of Ygam’s strategic ambitions.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with exceptional judgement and good stakeholder management skills. They must also be a proactive, adaptable, and creative individual, who has the ability to work remotely, autonomously and as part of a team. They should possess outstanding communication skills, be highly organised, and an excellent team player.

Role Requirements
Duties will include but not be limited to:
Research, insight and knowledge translation:
· Support the commissioning and managing of research activities and collaborations.
· Develop longitudinal research to understand programme impact on our beneficiaries.
· Keep abreast of current and future developments in gaming and gambling harm prevention, critically appraising these and summarising them as part of our knowledge translation function.
· Liaise with the External Affairs team to support the creation of accessible learning pieces for knowledge translation across the organisation and with internal and external stakeholders.
· Lead on writing articles and reports to disseminate learnings from Ygam’s data collection activities.
· Support the fundraising team with identifying and applying for new funding and grant opportunities directly associated with research and insight work.
· Liaise with IT team to support development of our Research and Insight intranet section.
Evaluations and continuous improvement:
· Support programme evaluations, including support with writing invitations to tender, liaising with Programme Leads and writing up/ dissemination of findings.
· Support programme leads with cycles of continuous improvement.
· Support the programmes team with piloting content and identifying and piloting new technologies.
Engagement and relationships:
· Assist with planning and organising advisory panels and communities of practice meetings and events.
· Support with gap analysis and implementation planning.
· Liaise with IT team to develop and maintain an online community of practice.
Conferences, events and raising brand reputation:
· Attend and support events, trade shows and conferences.
· Identify and apply to key events and conferences where Ygam can present evidence-based research and evaluations, raising brand reputation. This will include developing and delivering presentations on our research and insight activities for varied audiences.
· Support the planning of conferences and events.
General administration:
· Maintain online documentation/ Ygam SharePoint.
· Uploading information to Ygam CRM system, ensuring information is up to date and accurate.
· Support with staff surveys and focus groups.
· Provide minutes at all Insight and Innovation meetings.

· Working knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
· Ability to work with all aspects of primary research, including identifying areas of research, designing research methodologies, implementing high-quality data collection and analysing data.
· Ability to support the translation of research findings into clear and actionable insights through thoughtful data collection, in-depth and critical analysis, sharp observations, smart story-telling, and compelling presentations.
· Experience creating and maintaining fact bases or knowledge banks of insight and intelligence on key trends and audiences.
· Understanding of the requirements of Ygam’s stakeholders in relation to training, resources and digital products.
· Nurtures professional relationships with colleagues at all levels and with external contacts and partners to support the achievement of objectives.
· Excellent I.T skills, specifically Microsoft Office products.

Role purpose
The Administration Officer will provide support to IAPO’s team and board of trustees to ensure that all administrative processes involved with the board and its committees, and IAPO’s operations, projects, membership, IT, and facilities are effectively coordinated and managed to ensure seamless business operations. The post holder will report to IAPO’s Chief Executive Officer.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the post are detailed below. The post holder will also be required to undertake some appropriate tasks outside of these main responsibilities. As a small organization, IAPO requires all staff to be able and willing to support the running of the office and to carry out a range of activities.
· To help promote a culture of planning, efficiency and collaboration within IAPO.
· To act as the first point of contact for any communications into IAPO (unless they are addressed to a specific person) and ensure that they are directed to the most appropriate person for action.
· To work with the CEO in supporting the board of trustees and its committees, ensuring that timely and appropriate information is given to aid the board and committees in their decision-making processes, and that decisions of the board and committees are minuted, filed, and monitored.
· To help ensure key organisational deadlines are met, including for board meetings, internal and external events.
· To assist with arrangements for the attendance of IAPO staff, trustees or, if applicable, representatives of member organisations at external events and conferences e.g. their travel arrangements, reimbursement of expenses etc.

Global Partnerships Advisor

Growth, coupled with changing donor attitudes, means that MAG is working in an ever-increasing range of local, national and international partnerships. Organisational ambition means that growth in this area is likely to continue as we seek to develop operational and strategic ventures to extend our impact and influence.
In response, MAG is looking for an exceptional Global Partnerships Advisor to strengthen its in house capacity to develop, monitor and manage its partnership portfolio in order to maximise the reach and impact of our work. This role will work closely with programme teams and the wider Policy and Strategic Partnerships (PSP) team, liaising with key partners in the mine action and disarmament sectors, with a particular focus on Geneva-based organisations. The successful candidate will build new and effective partnerships that can strengthen MAG’s activities, and lead the development of a global partnerships strategy to frame how and when MAG works with other actors to increase our impact and extend our influence.
The GPA will also work closely with programme teams to support staff working with partners at programme level, improving organizational capacity to develop and manage partnerships within a given country or regional context. This will be supported by the review and development of systems, tools, policies and processes that strengthen MAG’s ability to assess, manage and monitor national, regional and international partnerships in line with MAG’s 2024-28 Organisational Strategy. Previous experience of donor engagement and representation, as well managing humanitarian and/or development activity which has been implemented via local or international partnerships is essential and experience of working in humanitarian mine action would be highly advantageous. Fluency in written and verbal communication in a relevant second language (French, Arabic, Spanish) is also required. This is a fast-paced and challenging role, which will require high levels of initiative, pro-activeness and strong multi-tasking skills. With an ability to influence, motivate and develop colleagues and key stakeholder and ensuring effective communication, you will be organised, flexible and solution-focused.
Role location
The role will be based from home in mainland Europe with regular travel to Geneva as well as international travel to our office in Manchester and country programmes in South and Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America and the Caribbean, possibly at short notice.

THE ROLE

Covering the operational, strategic and delivery of work we are looking for a Project Development Co-ordinator to operate across the South-East, within Kent or with the ability to travel across Kent. Travel within and occasionally outside the regions will be a necessity.
This post provides an exciting and rewarding opportunity to supervise, deliver and lead on our stakeholder and community engagement across a region to support the delivery of NEA’s work programme. The role will help deliver projects that can change lives, particularly during the energy crisis. NEA’s project work aims to bring improvements to the health and wellbeing of low income and vulnerable householders, through one-to-one advice, group awareness sessions, upskilling and sharing of best practice.
Delivering on a range or projects, which demonstrate good practice in delivery of affordable warmth for low income and vulnerable householders, you will understand and drive the development of partnerships working with local authorities, housing providers, and various other partners.
You will oversee the delivery of project outputs and outcomes, delivering energy and fuel debt advice directly to householders and be responsible for the preparation of reports to funders including collation of evidence of outcomes achieved; maintaining relationships with a network of stakeholders across a region.
You will also work with the Project Development Manager to identify and develop new programmes of work, including preparation of funding applications, presentation of funding proposals to relevant funding bodies and to ensure effective liaison of NEA’s work programme with other activities within NEA.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
You will have demonstrable experience of developing and/or managing projects in the fields of energy efficiency, community development and regeneration, housing, social policy or consumer issues.
It is important that you have an awareness of the environmental, social and economic problems of deprived areas and the roles of the public, private and voluntary sectors in tackling them.
You will need good organisational skills, as well as excellent written and communication skills, as you will maintain appropriate records and data, and produce regular written reports on project progress.
You will be an excellent communicator, with experience and understanding of how to effectively address the energy needs of low income, vulnerable or disadvantaged householders - with the desire to make a positive difference to people’s lives;
Knowledge of energy efficiency, particularly within the domestic sector and community buildings, is desirable.

Summary of the Role
We are commissioned to carry out Quality Checks of support services where people with a disability or mental ill health live, including Supported Living settings, Residential Homes, Day Services, Assessment and Treatment units and individual homes. The purpose of the Quality Checks is to ensure that people who live in these settings are safe, and living healthy, happy and meaningful lives and that the support they receive is appropriate to their needs.
All our Quality Checks involve a Quality Checker (an Expert by Experience) with lived experience of disability or mental ill health working alongside a Quality Checking Coordinator. On visits, we talk with people living in these settings to gather information regarding their quality of life and the quality of care and support they have.
The Coordinator’s role is to organise the checks and facilitate them on the day, whilst the Expert by Experience asks most of the questions. The Coordinator is responsible for compiling all the information gathered during the Quality Check and producing a report which is shared with the Provider and Commissioners. The Coordinator also has line management responsibility for a small number of the quality checkers on the team.

About the role
Advocates support people to express their views, understand their rights and make informed decisions. Much of their work is with some of the most vulnerable in our society who cannot speak up for themselves and have no family members or friends who can do so. We are looking to recruit a permanent multi-skilled advocate to join our Berkshire team, working a minimum of 21 hours per week, up to 37 hours considered, starting salary £23,314 per annum, pro rata.

What we need from you
