To date the vast majority of all marketing has been done by one person (our CEO) though increasingly we recognise the need for greater focus on a coherent look and feel, for a fresh voice and to respond to increased internal demand. This new role has been created to ensure continued cost and resource efficiency as we grow whilst meeting these needs.

This role encompasses four areas. In all instances this individual will work closely with respective internal teams to ensure a full understanding of the opportunity and any specific requirements. We will also ensure that over time, a comms calendar can be developed that minimises last minute requests and affords the longest planning window for all activity.

1. Development of campaign materials
2. Development and management of creative resources that are used ongoing
3. Oversight and development of our wider comms platforms and key messaging
4. Oversight and management of all creative assets

You should be a strong ‘all-rounder’. You will have excellent consumer and B2B copywriting skills, should have a creative mindset and an aptitude for campaign-oriented design (making use of software such as Canva). You should be well organised and able to ensure synergies across our various platforms, campaigns and audiences.

You will need to influence across the charity, should have good interpersonal and collaborative skills and be comfortable in working with individuals across the organisation and externally. You will benefit from very good prioritisation and decision making skills. Due to the broad scope of this role and the nature of our work you should be flexible, able to respond to needs as they arise, manage multiple tasks and manage priorities.

This role will be well supported by all members of the team but will need to support the marketing function end to end. You will need to be comfortable with concept development, taking this forward to final product and then on to production. Many of our marketing requirements rely on digital platforms and so an understanding of this medium and of social media messaging will be key.

Reporting directly to the CEO, your key responsibilities will be: supporting contract delivery and financial management, developing/maintaining donor relationships, seeking new partnerships and project opportunities, proposal development and applications to institutions.

Experience of living and working in East or West Africa, a track record in proposal development and applications to institutions, knowledge of livelihood development and rights based approaches are key areas for this role.

This is a remote role, we meet up once a month in Evesham.  We will also consider applicants who wish to work 80% FTE.

LTSB has grown significantly over the past few years. Our work is only possible with the generosity and commitment of our supporters. This brand new role will be responsible for both Events and Corporate Partnership fundraising, with the initial, primary focus being on developing and delivering an events programme. Corporate fundraising responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of existing partnerships and where there are opportunities, developing new corporate relationships. Events is a relatively new area for the charity and we anticipate the events programme will, in the main, support our corporate partners and provide a varied package of engagement opportunities for our growing base of employee volunteers. About the role:

The Advice Service Manager is responsible for all advice team operations and developing the Kinship advice pathway.

You’ll manage a team to deliver a consistent, high quality and effective service. You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing systems and monitoring service quality and performance.

Continuously improving the service, embracing digital solutions and creating efficiencies and processes to drive performance, you’ll increase our ability to provide more support to kinship carers across England and Wales.

You’ll ensure that kinship carers are able to access the information and advice they need in an accessible and consistent way within a clear operational framework.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver high quality, targeted and tailored advice to kinship carers in England and Wales.
• Develop a service framework that delivers a consistent service within clear timeframes.
• Set out clear expectations for enquiry response across all channels.
• Manage daily advice line operations, including work on cases, data and continuous improvement.
• Act as deputy designated safeguarding officer (DDSO) providing clear advice on actions needed when safeguarding concerns are raised.
• Develop and manage a high performing team.

Essential criteria includes:

• Substantial working knowledge of advice service delivery frameworks.
• Working knowledge of call handling and client record systems.
• Working knowledge of assessing the needs of individuals (e.g. social care, financial and legal) to provide appropriate advice and information.
• Substantial experience managing an advice service or similar, ideally in a health, social care or charitable organisation.

As our Brand & Marketing Manager you will be at the forefront of growing and developing the Winston’s Wish brands and find new and innovative ways to reach the children and young people who need us. This is a varied and fast-paced role where no two days will be the same.

From sharing the voices of our incredible Youth Ambassadors far and wide, to marketing fantastic fundraising initiatives to identifying new opportunities to reach young people, you’ll play a fundamental role in ensuring bereaved children and young people know they can put their trust in Winston’s Wish when their worlds are turned upside down by grief.

Main Responsibilities

• Marketing outreach and project management
• Work alongside the Director of Marketing & Communications to action the charity’s strategic marketing plan.
• Lead a team of marketeers in planning, delivering and measuring effective projects to drive revenue and reach across multiple areas of the company.
• End to end management of comms plans to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard using data and analysis to refine and develop plans in order to reach targets.
• Oversee marketing activity across all channels, with a strong emphasis on developing data led digital marketing. Ensuring the team are constantly analysing, refining and optimising.
• Write influential and fluent copy aimed at different target audiences to engage and ultimately drive interest.
• Actively identify and motivate the team to recognise opportunities to market Winston’s Wish to reach our identified audiences.
• Work with the charity’s approved freelance designers to oversee the creation and delivery of marketing assets and artwork, adhering to our brand style and tone of voice.
• Support the PR & Marketing Officer to identify and respond to media requests and create opportunities that grow the charity’s reputation. 

Brand Management

• Work alongside the Director of Marketing & Communications to embed a cohesive and engaging brand identity to create memorable and consistent experiences for all.
• Develop our visual identity in a way which brings our cause and purpose to life in the most engaging and inspiring way possible.
• Grow and manage our database of brand and marketing assets and materials.
• Use market insight and analytics to continuously develop our brand to position Winston’s Wish as a leader in our sector. 

Team Management & Administration

• Work alongside the Director of Marketing & Communications to lead our marketing and communications team, ensuring there is a clear direction of travel, an understanding of purpose and an exemplary culture embedded to drive future success.
• Line manage the Digital Marketing & Communications Officer and PR & Marketing Officer.
• Effectively manage expenditure across all projects and campaigns in line with agreed expenditure budgets.
• Effective reporting as required in line with agreed objectives and KPIs.
• Ensure that the recording of permissions and consents is adhered to in line with our policies and procedures and in accordance with GDPR.

THE ROLE

As our first Fundraising Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to shape our fundraising strategy, with a particular emphasis on creativity and innovation. The candidate must be flexible to work outside of normal office hours depending on the demands of the role which are often driven by the external environment and national events. The role is hybrid, incorporating working from home with travelling to meetings in or around London as required.  Therefore, to facilitate the needs of the role and the organisation, ideally candidates would be located in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire or Oxfordshire.

The BSAVA is a professional membership association which exists to advance care for companion animals. As the Finance Manager your role is to help make this a reality through the effective management of our financial processes. You’ll use your experience from other charity finance roles, along with your accountancy / financial management qualifications, to help ensure our approach to financial management is effective, efficient, up-to-date and in line with charity accounting standards. 

You will be well-organised and motivated to support the wider team in their work. Reporting to the CEO and supporting the Treasurer, you will ensure we have up-to-date information on the financial health of the organisation. You will help to ensure we are maximising the use of restricted funding, and that money is spent in line with donors’ wishes. 

You will lead on ensuring we have robust organisational systems and processes in place for effective financial management. This includes the production and sharing of management accounts, ensuring payroll and invoices are paid on time, devising financial reports, and providing budgetary support. Main Responsibilities  

What you'll do: 

• You’ll be our 'go-to’ person for Salesforce end users;

• Demonstrates enthusiasm towards continued personal/professional development;

The Insight Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring Power to Change’s research and insight programme is rigorous, creative and high impact. The role also gathers and shares robust evidence and learning about our approach and the community business sector.
