Apart of Me

Who we are

We provide critical early intervention and unique tools for people aged 11-25, allowing them to process their bereavement, feel empowered through co-designing grief support resources for other young bereaved people like them, while also developing the skills to support others and become change makers in their communities.

Our free Apart of Me app helps to transform their grief through our ground-breaking therapeutic mobile game, which translates established bereavement-counselling techniques into a magical interactive 3D world, alongside a range of other vital peer support services that we provide.

Our culture and values

We're a fully remote team, made up of mainly volunteers, and are working hard to create a place where people can do their best work, develop personally and professionally, and feel rewarded by positively impacting the lives of young people in need. 

As we're a small charity, autonomy is high! There’s a lot you can own, get involved with, and develop skills in new areas that interest you.

Our core values are Compassion, Empowerment, Belonging and Playfulness, and are embedded in all we do and how we work with each other.
