Key Purpose:

This role encompasses the day-to-day running of RABI’s mental health training programme. To include liaising with individuals and organisations seeking training; working with RABI’s specialist training providers; budgeting and invoicing, monitoring and evaluating the service.

In addition, the role will seek to explore possibilities for the development of the service, including working with external organisations across the sector to upskill and empower their staff.

The role involves cross departmental working, particularly with the Fundraising, Volunteering and Finance departments to ensure both the smooth running of the service, but also the development of it to ensure it reaches its full potential.

Implementing relevant procedures and processes, revising and facilitating continuous improvement will be key to the success of the role, with a focus on gaining impact reporting and integrating the service into the CRM. 

Building and maintaining successful working relationships both internally and externally and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery are essential to the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop opportunities to engage with prospective strategic corporate partners around mental health training.
• Lead the management and delivery of RABI’s mental health training from initial contact through to booking, invoicing and feedback.
• Manage the budgets related to delivery of the mental health training service.
• Work with other RABI departments to ensure promotion of RABI’s mental health training and maximise the opportunities it provides.
• Work with existing and prospective trainees to maximise benefits for both parties, identifying the training and ensuring training is kept up to date.
• Act as a first point of contact for strategic partners interested in mental health training.
• Provide subject matter expertise and advice to support the Senior Management Team in developing strategic priorities and projections.
• To support with the completion of collaborative working proposals and pitches that involve mental health training.
• To attend, contribute and chair where appropriate, meetings, briefings and reviews with existing and potential partner organisations.
• To provide reporting as required, related to the mental health training service.
• Act as a conduit to introduce partner organisations to other RABI teams as appropriate.
• Supporting on the development of partnership agreements, Memorandum of Understanding and other written documents as required.
• Act as a representative of RABI at events. 
• Working with RABI colleagues to collect and track data on the effectiveness of the mental health training, and impact reporting.
• Work to develop RABI’s mental health training service to maximise its impact and effectiveness across the wider farming community.
• To integrate the mental health training service from booking through to invoicing and reporting, with the CRM system, to ensure all data is captured, relationships managed and reporting provided.
• Be an ambassador for Partnerships internally within RABI and with external organisations.

Key Responsibilities

This role sits within the Education team who are responsible for delivering BSR’s educational activity. Working alongside the Head of Education, the Events and Education Manager and the Digital Events Manager, you will assist in the planning and delivery of a range of education courses, webinars, bursary schemes and eLearning activities.  You will work with the team to support the work of our Education Committee, Trainee Committee and Digital Learning Board. 

This is an exciting role for someone looking to get more hands-on experience in planning and executing a variety of educational events and activities and liaising with multiple stakeholders. Main responsibilities

• Manage course and webinar registration processes, including delegate bookings, communications, data management and reporting, and producing delegate materials.

• Manage the rheumatology training webinar series, including topic development, speaker management and live delivery.
• Manage the creation of monthly eLearning packages including webinars, podcasts and eLearning cases.

• Manage CPD accreditation of educational activities. 
• Manage events inbox and education team enquiries.

Conference Organiser and Business Development Coordinator

The role:

Working as part of a small team, the Conference Organiser and Business Development Coordinator responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Coordinating the planning, management, relationship coordination, creative development and delivery of the SCTS Annual conference.
• Maintaining and monitoring the society’s annual conference budget.
• Explore & identify new income streams for the annual conference.

About you:

We are looking for an organised, accurate and effective multitasker and team player who can demonstrate hands-on experience in planning, coordinating and delivering conferences and / or large events along with coordinating all of the financial and sponsorship aspects of these.

You must also be a proactive, innovative, team-worker with good communication skills who can work collaboratively with many stakeholders. 

Willingness to learn new skills and software is key, as is experience with finance and accounting software such as Xero.

About us:

The Society for Cardiothoracic Surgery (SCTS) is a professional society for all healthcare professionals involved and interested in cardiothoracic surgery. 

This role supports the main purpose of advancing science in the field of cardiothoracic surgery for the benefit of the public by encouraging and promoting excellence in the practice of cardiothoracic surgery.

The SCTS Meetings team is responsible for organising and delivering the SCTS Annual Conference for all categories of professionals including Consultants, Medical Practitioners, Nationally Appointed Surgical Trainees, Trust appointed doctors and Nurses and Allied Health Professionals.

The team work flexibly from home and on site at least one day a week (but more will be required for initial training) at our office based in the Royal College of Surgeons of England in Central London.

The Café forms part of a central hub, housing a daytime café for the community and an after-school Youth Café that connects vulnerable young people to positive and inspiring role-models from their community, empowering and inspiring them to become active citizens in their community. The space is used for two similar, but distinct purposes and excellent working relationships between these are essential. This role is responsible for the daytime café and related income generating activities.

An initiative of the Matrix Trust, our café has built an excellent reputation, with the vision to provide a space for local people to retreat to, where they will find a friendly welcome and an opportunity to give back to the community. Key elements include: quality coffee, delicious healthy food, a calm but welcoming environment, and an eco-friendly, low waste ethos.

The Café is open 5 days a week, 8:30am to 3pm on Tuesday to Friday and 10am to 3pm on Saturdays. 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

● Oversee the efficient daily operation of the café, ensuring high standards and excellent customer service.

● Engage customers, take and serve orders, and drive sales.

● Ensure all health & safety and food safety standards are met.

● Maintain a clean, welcoming, and friendly environment for customers.

● Manage stock levels, place supply orders, and handle cash management, including cashing up and reporting till adjustments.

Purpose of the Job 

To support in both the design & creation and the day to day running & implementation of Felix's Kitchen new employability programme and then be the key driving force behind delivering these programmes. 

You will be leading a team of chef apprentices, providing them with hands on skills training created by yourself alongside the accredited course, supporting them with functional skills training, being their day-to-day line manager and supporting other employability programmes within the Felix Project in particular Felix’s Kitchen other programmes.  

You will work alongside the wider Felix Kitchen team and support your programme to integrate into the main production kitchen. You will take a leading role in supporting Felix’s Kitchen at events and engagement opportunities, supporting the apprentices being a huge part of these events, both on and off site. The training kitchen will be your base and you will be responsible for the safe and effective running of this part of the kitchen, maximising its impact on the programmes as well as exploring other opportunities for its use, hosting visitors and charity partners. You will be a key part of all reporting and evaluations of our employability programmes.

The role

Reporting to the Director of Sector Development and working closely with the CILIP Learn Development Manager the Training and Partnerships Officer will support in the delivery of CILIPs training offer. 

The ideal candidate will have a broad experience in delivering or overseeing training delivery, online events and webinars, managing successful relationships with stakeholders and have strong IT skills.  The main responsibilities of the role include:

• To work with the Director of Sector Development and the CILIP Learn Development Manager to deliver a market-leading training offer for CILIP within CILIP Learn. To deliver and evaluate a portfolio of training events, building effective relationships with training providers.
• To support successful contract and stakeholder management related to the training partnerships and training contracts.
• To develop and maintain systems and processes which ensure that the development of the CILIP Learn offer is based on data, evidence and market intelligence.

The Social Interest Group is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and care to individuals of all ages facing a diverse array of psychological challenges in both mental and physical health realms. This encompasses adults within acute and forensic mental health community based services and residential community based accommodation, as well as people residing in their own homes, in the community and prisons. The spectrum of conditions and illnesses includes people with trauma, anxiety, depression, psychosis, personality disorders, eating disorders, addictions, learning disabilities, autism, Korsakoff syndrome, alcohol related brain damage, and challenges related to social isolation, family dynamics, and relationships. 

In this role, you will manage a team of psychologists, a clinical lead, mental health nurses, substance misuse teams, and therapeutic leads, as well as providing overall leadership, expertise, and direction to the organisation to bridge gaps in knowledge, experience, and skills!

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9 - 5. You will be based in Central Office (Islington) but will regularly be based within any of our services across London, Brighton, Kent, Havering, Bedford, Luton, Nottingham, and Liverpool.
