The Contactless giving Fundraising Team sits within the wider F2F Fundraising and Individual Giving Team

This important role entails working with the Trusts regional teams as a Team Leader within the wider Face to Face (F2F) fundraising team In this particular instance this role will have a focus on championing our Contactless Giving Workstreams across the regions, with the support of their face to face fundraising colleagues.

They are responsible for delivery of our contactless giving programme and ensuring that they are able to setup a maintain a varied programme of workstreams by sourcing and providing key technology and tools to all of the Trusts regions. You will help drive delivery of the agreed Team and individual targets and KPI’s for the region(s) with a particular focus on Contactless Giving.

This role will work across the regions as a dedicated national support and will be required at times to provide hands on coaching, training and support regionally to drive ongoing engagement and enthusiasm for the programme. They will also support the Regional Face to Face Fundraising Managers to identify and business case potential future opportunities when required.

You will play a significant role in supporting the day to day management of our contactless giving income stream by supporting our F2F Fundraisers, regional colleagues and volunteers, ensuring our Values & Behaviours and performance excellence standards are met on a consistent basis.

Location & coverage
You will be working remotely and should expect to spend more than 50% of your week out on location meeting with your fundraising team across the region.

There is an expectation of working some weekend days at our key regional events, spread over the year and being a part of the weekend Contactless Giving management rota, which denotes working at least one weekend per month.

As a remote worker you will be assigned one of our main hub spaces as as your formal base

Relevant hubs include:  Leeds, Ellesmere Port, Burnley.

Working Hours: 37 hours Monday to Friday with occasional weekend & bank holiday working.

Knowledge, Skills/Qualifications & Experience

Key Accountabilities: 

• Work with the Contactless Giving Fundraising Manager to devise robust strategies to achieve weekly & monthly volume and quality based fundraising targets, particular focus on Contactless Giving within the regions, Museums and attractions and our F2F Fundraising teams.
• Develop contactless fundraising techniques with the Contactless Giving Fundraising Manager that improve income generation for the Trust.
• Support the Face to Face fundraising management team with reviews and business casing of future fundraising opportunities for the face to face & regional fundraising programme.
• Ensure management of key contactless giving channels including devices, signage, branded clothing and collateral all contain contactless donation touchpoints across the network.
• Adhere to the IOF and Fundraising Regulator Code of conduct.
• Handle all sensitive and data protected information obtained by donors as confidential and in a safe and secure manner in line with the Trust’s GDPR and Security Procedures.
• Ensure regular Compliance checks and training sessions are delivered to the F2F team and Regional colleagues, particualrly around Contactless Giving.
• Clear, regular and timely communication with the Team and all members of the senior management team.
• Nurture and maintain positive relationships with regional colleagues to support delivery of F2F fundraising priorities, engagement and training; particularly contactless giving programme.
• Coach and mentor team members in the region and support the maintenance of performance targets and improvements where needed.
• Ensure that all data input and insight reporting is maintained for the benefit of the team including key systems such as CRM, Evergiving and other fundraising platforms and technologies.
• Support operational processes for managing equipment, managing suppliers, regulatory compliance and complaints management.

Skills, knowledge & experience:

The Data Services team is one team with four functions; Data & Analysis, Data Operations, Information Governance and Partners & Projects. Functional leaders work closely together to ensure a team approach is adopted, utilising skills from across the functions to solve problems and innovate together.

The Partners and Projects function will maintain the business planning for Data Services as a whole and is the gateway for new work. Working with the functional leaders the Partner and Projects function will make decisions on how best to resource projects by either using existing resources if capacity allows or signposting to external quality providers.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The People Systems Support Team requires a permanent member of staff to provide support to our People Systems including Oracle, CMS, Pathways and future planned systems as they come online. They will play an active role within a customer-focused support team and will forge working relationships with NCIs and the Diocese.

The support analyst will provide day-to-day operational and help desk support for People System activities. The support analyst will also support the Team Leader in developing relationships with internal teams and customers in setting processes and standards for the deployment, tracking/reporting, and maintenance of data and content within the people system. They will work with the wider Data Services team to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues that arise and work with Diocesan Operational Users and staff to maintain data accuracy and integrity.

The Grassroots Development Officer will be responsible for providing a wide range of organisational development support services and activities to assist grassroots VCSE organisations to develop, thrive and remain sustainable. This role is particularly interested in working with groups who deliver services to young people, the elderly, minority ethnic (global majority) and migrant groups, those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and residents in the north of the borough (areas with high deprivation and a higher proportion of small groups). 
You will be led by the VCSE sector within Bexley to ensure services are accessible, connected, consistent and to a high standard. Development work strives to build the capacity and capabilities of local groups, provide partnership/networking opportunities that enable them to carry out their own objectives effectively and offer high quality services. School Food Matters (SFM) exists to teach children about food and to improve children’s access to healthy, sustainable food during their time at school. Young Marketeers is our flagship food education programme which gives primary school children an opportunity to learn about food production, grow their own veg, and set up a stall at their local community market. Job Purpose

· To manage our Young Marketeers programme across England

Key Tasks include:

Staff management and training

• Provide support and training to a team of freelance Project Officers/Gardeners across the country

We give families a safer start to life and create a supportive space for anyone whose baby or infant has died suddenly or unexpectedly. We empower families and health professionals with trusted advice on keeping babies safe, backed by research, and provide grieving families with bereavement support, side-by-side.

Since 1991 we have reduced the rate of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome by 82% and saved the lives of over 32,000 babies. But our work is not over, as three babies still die suddenly and unexpectedly a week. 

The Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer is an integral role within our Income and Engagement Team. We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled fundraiser with a passion for securing five and six-figure donations from trusts, foundations and statutory bodies.

The post-holder should be driven to support the work of the charity to continue saving babies’ lives, and supporting bereaved families, and be motivated by our values by being Caring, Reassuring, Driven and Trustworthy in everything they do. 

The post-holder will have excellent communication and relationship-building skills and will be able to manage a wide-ranging portfolio of funders, and the prospect pipeline from start to finish. A key to achieving this will be embedding a deep understanding of The Lullaby Trust’s impact.
 
In this role you will be: 

1. Managing the Trust and Foundations programme 
2. Working with the wider team to deliver to income targets 

This role can be offered as a hybrid role (with approximately one day per week in our London office) or fully remote, with occasional visits to the office for meetings or staff days as necessary.

Salary: £29,900 plus £2,200 London Weighting if applicable

Contract and hours: We are looking for the right candidate and we envisage this being a full-time role (37.5 hours per week), but we’re open to conversations regarding flexible or part-time work. Permanent contract. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required, for which time off in lieu will be given.

Your role will be central to achieving our three-year strategy, which is focused on:  

1.  developing our programme so it makes a bigger difference, and is available to more young people  
2.  influencing system changes that lead to progress towards equity of, who gets in, who gets on and who belongs – in education and employment 

Based in our Advocacy and Campaigns team the Senior Policy Officer will be responsible for delivering our Social Mobility Employer Index and support the development of our wider policy positions and campaigns work. 

Growing the influence and impact of the Index is a key strategic priority within ambition two, and this role will help achieve that by ensuring we continue to develop our knowledge and to influence and improve employer-led social mobility. You’ll be responsible for project managing and delivering core components of the Index including the marking, design and delivery of the survey, which we use to gather employer data and the feedback reports, which we share with entrants. You’ll ensure the documents evolve with best practice and in line with our work with young people. Working with others you’ll deliver the annual key findings report, ultimately helping improve employer led social mobility in the UK. 

Alongside the Index you’ll play a key role in developing policy positions for our political influencing campaigns. You’ll support our internal knowledge hub, drawing insights from our Aspiring Professionals Programme, wider research and focus groups with our young people and share external developments to ensure we have robust, youth-led positions. You’ll analyse evidence and help carve out our unique point of view on how we can improve social mobility in the UK.  

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on the project management and delivery of the Index including development of policy positions and best practice, questionnaire design, employer feedback reports. 
• Lead the annual review of the Index assessing the impact it’s had on driving employer behaviour and update our measurement and evaluation metrics accordingly. 
• Ensure documents are reviewed annually and updated to reflect the latest best practice and insights from our wider interventions.  
• Co-ordinate the different individuals and teams working across the Index to deliver the annual key findings report. 
• Utilising our political monitoring service and our relations with employers, stay across updates from key stakeholders such as the Social Mobility Commission, the wider sector and employer research, utilising these insights to update our policy positions and develop our advice to employers. 
• Undertake rapid scans of various types of data and evidence; produce summaries of the main findings and implications for policy and generate ideas for further policy opportunities. 
• Present findings internally and support fundraising colleagues with the insights, tools, and knowledge to develop new products that can influence employer behaviour.  
• Create resources for the wider organisation to ensure our evidence base and policy positions are understood, up to date and consistently used across teams.  
• Attend relevant conferences, stakeholder meetings and gather intelligence, raising our profile and influencing where appropriate.  
• Support the Campaigns Officer (media) and Campaigns Officer (public affairs) with the insights required for political and media interventions. E.g. briefing MPs and creating briefing materials for media interviews. 
• Administrative tasks as needed.  

Essential skills and experience

• Experience of developing policy positions for an organisation. 
• Experience in translating research into insights and using that to inform positions. 
• Experience of analysing and interpreting data sets to develop policy positions.  
• Excellent written and oral communication and influencing skills.  
• Experience of project management.  
• A problem-solving mindset - you assess the quality of your own ideas and ask questions about others’ ideas and proposals, devising solution options with costs/benefits and risks where appropriate. 
• You set high standards, actively seek and act on feedback and lead the team efforts to continuously improve. 
• You are outcome focused - You define your work in terms of outcomes rather than time spent and encourage others to do the same. 
• Planning and organising - You manage and work effectively with stakeholders to reach desired outcomes; you identify and escalate potential timeline issues in a timely manner proposing solutions. 

Desirable experience:  

• Experience of hosting focus groups and co-creating policy positions with young people.  
• Experience working in a policy role focused on social mobility. 
• Experience working in agile.

25 days holiday per year pro rata, plus bank holidays. 5% Employer contribution to pension calculated using NEST’s current thresholds for ‘qualifying earnings’ following successful probation period, in line with auto-enrolment pension requirements.

This role is an exciting opportunity to help develop and grow the Community Fundraising programme at SAS, including supporting our amazing fundraisers, creating and improving processes to provide fundraisers with an excellent experience, gathering stories and insights to inform plans and generating reports to help drive Community Fundraising forwards.

• Adapt with the evolving needs of the role Steward fundraisers

• Deliver ‘one-to-many’ stewardship and be the main point of contact for fundraisers, responding in a friendly and timely manner to help build relationships to maximise their fundraising and likelihood of repeat fundraising

• Gather fundraiser stories, photos and approvals to develop our library so we can inspire other fundraisers with our marketing

• Keep accurate and updated records of fundraiser communications in our CRM

Sydenham Garden is seeking a Community Activities & Volunteering Lead on a fixed term 3 year contract to join our team of 15 staff and approximately 60 volunteers in delivering adult mental health and dementia services in our beautiful garden setting in south-east London.

‘I AM Brent’ consortium

Step Up Hub leads a consortium, known as I AM Brent, that consists of six well-respected local charities who are working together to address the root causes and effects of violence affecting young people in the London Borough of Brent.

Programme Description

The programme is part of the Mayor of London’s flagship violence reduction programme, known as MyEnds. It is a place-based violence reduction initiative that adopts a public health approach. The consortium is providing an array of positive opportunities for young people and support for families, including through tailored interventions. The programme also aims to improve statutory and voluntary organisation networks and access to referral, and to ensure the voices of young people and community members are built into provision. The work is focused on the Church Road Estate, Stonebridge Estate, St Raphael’s Estate, Chalkhill Estate and Harlesden Town Centre areas.

The Role of the Community Engagement Lead

The Community Engagement Lead will be a key member of the team delivering the I AM Brent MyEnds programme. They will develop and maintain strong relationships with the breadth of young and older community members, and local businesses to conduct community engagement. They will subscribe to the values of co-production and work positively in accordance with I AM Brent’s Equal Opportunities, Safeguarding, Data Protection and Health and Safety policies.

In addition, the Community Engagement Lead will:

· act as the primary contact for requests from the community for information about I AM Brent’s services and events,

· disseminate to the community information about I AM Brent’s services, community fund, and events,

· organise, and support the delivery of, community engagement events, youth forums and community forums,

· encourage community participation,

· provide status reports regarding upcoming community outreach, engagement, events, and initiatives to consortium                members and community members, and provide end of community activity reports to the Programme Manager,

· summarise views of community members about their needs and ideas to improve safety,

· signpost community members to support following outreach activities,

· process referrals to the I AM Brent programme,

· support the organisation and administration of talks at community centres, places of worship, and community events,            on supporting young people’s safety,

· support the organisation and administration of parenting programmes,

· represent I AM Brent and Step Up Hub at meetings, forums, roundtable discussions and related events,

· help recruit and line manage community volunteers.

The Community Engagement Lead will be supported by the I AM Brent MyEnds Programme Manager, Step Up Hub senior leadership team and consortium members, and will work closely with I AM Brent’s Network and Communications Lead.
