You will be a key member of the Data & Insights team, responsible for ensuring our data is accurate, complies with all relevant legislation and helps the wider team to make informed data driven decisions.

You will be responsible for helping with the daily management and administration of the Dynamics CRM system and integrations with other systems, with a particular emphasis on supporting CPRE’s fundraising, supporter care, and campaigning activities. You will ensure data accuracy through regular data cleaning, improvements, and de-duplication processes.

In addition, you will provide timely and accurate data selections and create visual reports to support various organisational needs.

Using your mathematical knowledge and statistical tools you will analyse data, providing interpretation and understanding the numbers within the models. Through this you will support the fundraising team to extract value from our Data Sets by identifying correlations in customer behaviours and giving propensities, leveraging both internal and external data.

You will also work closely with the Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with excellent analytical and processing skills who wants to take their first step in an analytical career.

Senior Fundraising Insight Analyst

Purpose of Role

As a Senior Fundraising Insights Analyst, you will play a leading role in supporting the charity’s fundraising growth objectives.

You will work closely with teams across Fundraising to develop and execute growth strategies based on data and insight; build and interrogate reporting dashboards, manage data requests, and directly support fundraising colleagues to optimise campaign activity by reaching new and existing audiences with relevant content and asks through a multi-channel supporter segmentation approach. Your expertise in data analysis and reporting tools will be crucial for driving insights that improve our fundraising and impact strategies. This is a great time to be joining the Data & Analytics team as we exit our transformation period which has delivered a robust, cleansed data architecture (Microsoft Azure) that will enable Analysts to derive deeper insights into our supporters and be the principal engine for the Salesforce NFP Fundraising CRM system.

Key responsibilities:

• Business partnering with Fundraising teams, identify opportunities for our data to enable the achievement of FR strategic goals. For example, supporting on Fundraising strategy and fundraising campaign development through the provision of Lifetime Value analysis, propensity to give modelling, econometric modelling and / or regression analysis, recency, frequency, value analysis and the appending of third-party data sources to enrich our data set and better understand our donors and prospects.
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities to optimise fundraising campaigns and strategies.
• Creation and maintenance of dashboards using Power BI to present actionable insights.
• Provide analysis and reporting to support live events, campaign performance, and strategic decision-making. Delivering to and enhancing briefs provided by client teams, ensuring that accurate and timely insights are available for Fundraising teams.
• Track performance metrics during events and provide immediate feedback and recommendations for optimization where appropriate.
• Support the Fundraising team with data-driven audience segmentation in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or through Comic Relief’s Azure Data Lake

Data Tools and Architecture:

• Support the development of the charity’s Azure-based data models, ensuring data consistency across platforms through providing and feedback on and identifying future developments needed.
• Collaborate with other teams to optimize data flows, improve reporting systems, and ensure the effective use of data across the organization.
• Leverage SQL, Kusto (KQL), and Salesforce Non-Profit Cloud and Marketing Cloud to extract, analyse, and manipulate data from various sources.
• Utilise Power BI to build and maintain dashboards that provide clear and actionable insights.
• Support for Fundraising will include being hands-on with Salesforce Non-Profit Cloud and Marketing Cloud. 

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Business partner with fundraising teams to identify data requirements and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Communicate complex data findings in a clear and actionable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide thought leadership within the organisation relating to the use of data to derive insights.

Person specification

Essential criteria

• Experience of working with data from a large scale, sophisticated consumer fundraising programme, specifically digital first programmes, or an equivalent Business to Consumer (B2C) scheme with Customer Relationship Management at its heart.
• A strong background in SQL and Python.
• Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard creation and reporting.
• trong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and present complex data in a clear and actionable format.
•  Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•  Understanding of best practices in data governance and data management.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Non-Profit Cloud and Marketing Cloud for data analysis and campaign tracking.
• Experience of Data Analysis to support Fundraising.

Desirable criteria 

• Experience with Kusto (KQL) would be a significant benefit.

What you’ll be doing

As a Campaigns Analyst, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping River Action’s fight for cleaner rivers by transforming complex data and information into compelling narratives that influence public opinion, media coverage, political advocacy, and legal action.

Reporting to the Head of Campaigns, you’ll be at the heart of our evidence-based approach. You’ll be analysing government and industry data, uncovering insights, and equipping our team with the intelligence needed to challenge polluters, hold regulators accountable, and push for policy reform. 

Like a detective, you will be the person we rely on to seek out and identify the smoking gun - as well as to meticulously build out the pieces of the jigsaw - that demonstrates the malpractice, illegal behaviour or mismanagement of a water company, a factory farm or a failed regulator.

• Monitor government regulators and industry updates, tracking regulatory programmes, announcements, data, reports and other information.

• Develop and lead proactive data collection efforts including by making Freedom of Information (FOI) and Environmental Information Regulation (EIR) requests to inform and support campaigns, legal actions, investigations and communications.

• Plan, execute and report public opinion polls to gather insights that strengthen campaign messaging.

• Analyse and interpret complex data to uncover key insights that drive impactful campaigns and communications.

• Map and assess major campaign factors, including pollution sources, supply chains, regulatory frameworks and industry compliance.

• Investigate polluters, evaluating their legal obligations, governance structures, sustainability claims, environmental performance, finances and resource allocations.

• Investigate government regulators including the Environment Agency, Natural Resources Wales and Ofwat, analysing the performance of their monitoring, reporting and law enforcement duties.

• Maintain and update internal databases and fact sheets with the latest intelligence.

• Develop an in depth understanding of UK policy and legal frameworks relating to the regulation of rivers, and ensure colleagues are kept up to date with changes.

Financial Modelling Analyst | £50,000 - £55,000 | 12-month FTC | Fully Remote

For the UKs largest not-for-profit social enterprise in the employment and social mobility sector, we are recruiting a Financial Modeller / Analyst on a 12-month contract which could go permanent. Working closely with the finance business partners and commercial operations teams, this role will develop models to review commercial bids and acquisitions and provide insight to senior leaders on value drivers to inform decision making around bidding strategy and financial planning. As a Data Analyst at CPAS, you will play a crucial role in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to inform our programmes and strategies. You will work closely with our operations, fundraising, leadership and holiday teams to provide insights that drive effectiveness and accountability. Your work will directly contribute to our ability to improve key decision making in the organisation. This is a new role and the postholder will work closely with the Digital Systems Manager and key staff across other teams to build and maintain our data capabilities.   

Salary: £22,914 (pro rata of £38,190 FTE) per annum. This is a part-time appointment of 3 days / 22.2 hours per week (0.6 FTE).

This role will be key, in developing, implementing, and reviewing complex commercial bids and acquisitions and modelling long-term contracts. Battersea is undergoing a significant transformation programme (known as Launchpad) to deliver real change in the way we work with, utilise, and learn from data. Our new approach will enable smoother animal, customer and supporter journeys and will help us embed a truly data and insight-driven approach to decision-making at Battersea. This role, working within the Data Applications Team will initially contribute to the Launchpad programme by supporting training and UAT activity. Once the programme has been completed, this role will then be responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance needs for the new Salesforce Lightning CRM and other related applications as they are launched.

Although the role will initially be managed by the Data Applications Delivery Lead, there is the potential that this role will transition into a dedicated Data Applications support function as the programme progresses and the support need grows.

About the role

The Digital Optimisation Analyst is instrumental in advancing Christian Aid's digital strategy and supporting colleagues in achieving their ambitious digital, fundraising and supporter engagement goals. Through utilising measurable data and analytical tools such as Google Analytics, the role provides in-depth campaign analyses, performance reports, and a deep dive into users' online activities and behaviours. The deliverable insights and contributions empower teams to make data-driven, impactful decisions that generate positive change across the organisation.

About you

You will be the go-to expert in digital analysis, working closely alongside a variety of teams to maximise the reach, engagement and conversion of our digital journeys.
