This role sits within the Volunteering & Community Engagement team who run a range of programmes and activities for volunteers, which includes the national LitterHeroes Programme.

This role will be responsible for the development, management and coordination of the Keep Britain Tidy LitterHeroes programme.

The role will engage with our dedicated volunteers in both the LitterHeroes and LitterHeroes Ambassadors networks who are taking action on litter across the country.

The aim of this role is to develop and deliver the programme to increase the impact our volunteers can have. The post holder will expand engagement with Keep Britain Tidy LitterHeroes and LitterHeroes Ambassadors and increase their support, knowledge, and ultimately the action they take, developing the programme so that it has real impact.

The role will manage these two inspiring networks of volunteers, growing the volunteer base; providing advice; supporting them to take action in their local community; supporting them to promote Keep Britain Tidy’s campaigns; developing online support systems; and measuring and communicating the impact of the work they do

You will lead the growth of our Individual Giving programme, bringing new donors on board across traditional and digital streams. You will be responsible for the retention and reactivation of supporters, maximising their lifetime value; ensuring the best possible supporter experience and delivering annual net income growth in individual giving.

You will also lead our small legacy programme, which has huge ambition for growth; maximising the opportunities available to encourage new and current supporters to leave a gift in their Will. - Working closely with the UK-wide network of Morrisons Daily Charity Ambassadors and Morrisons Community Champions to drive employee engagement income generation through a diverse calendar of fundraising activities and events including employee fundraising, events, cause related marketing, payroll giving.

- Achieving and exceeding financial targets and reporting on all financial arrangements with Morrisons ensuring that all income and expenditure is accounted for and appropriately included in the budget.

- Working closely with other Marie Curie teams to achieve financial and non-financial objectives for teams and departments across Marie Curie, including the promotion of key campaigns and to share information and resources.

Key Criteria:

- Proven track record in partnership management within a corporate-charity partnership setting.

- Success in pitching and retaining existing partners - from proposal development to employee vote strategies.

- Experience of meeting and exceeding income targets.

- Experience of identifying, prospecting, and securing income opportunities with corporate partners.

- Strong knowledge of corporate charity landscape, key sector and partnership trends, commercial insight, and awareness.

Responsibilities

The overall responsibility of the Curriculum Consultant will be to spearhead the design of a strong, values-driven and age-appropriate curriculum across all our programmes. Championing this within the organisation, their significant knowledge and experience will ensure it is the iterative and collaborative beating heart of our programmes.

• Lead content review meetings with our facilitators and delivery partners to get the best from people, capturing learnings from delivery for future curriculum design.

Working Pattern

You'll also help our and volunteers do the same, both in person and virtually through our trusty MS Teams. When we're doing things face-to-face, you’ll need to hit the road and be there in person to help with programme delivery or programme visits to make sure all is running as smoothly as possible.

And if that’s not enough to keep you busy, you’ll also be keeping meticulous records of information and data on our young people, volunteers, and partners. It's all about making sure every step of their journey is accurately reflected in our systems so that it complies with our funding contracts.

As Charity Director, you’ll be working in a multi-cultural environment supporting vulnerable people with limited English across Kingston, Hounslow and Richmond. Our client group includes refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants, and our volunteer-led services support them to learn English and gain access to vital local services, including housing, education, healthcare.We provide a ‘blended’ service for our clients which includes in-person and on-line support as well as class-based teaching, all of which is dedicated to helping those with the lowest language skills to progress into volunteering, education and work.

LEAH has experienced a period of growth, having doubled its staff team across the last 5 years to meet demand for our services. We have no shortage of clients, a strong and enthusiastic volunteer base and a dedicated and experienced staff team.

LEAH is at an exciting time, and we are aiming to expand our service impact and reach across London.  The new Director will lead the development of the new 2025-28 strategic plan which will be the key to our future development and success.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Psychologist with forensic psychology experience to join our clinical team, supporting a specialist service based in Croydon. The service operates within a 27-bed residential facility that cares for individuals with forensic mental health needs, complex conditions, and dual diagnoses. As a key member of the clinical team, you will provide evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions, focusing on the rehabilitation and reintegration of residents with complex mental health and forensic backgrounds.

This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with mental health professionals, including those with forensic expertise, allowing you to make a significant impact on service development. You will also play a vital role in driving clinical improvements and contributing to the strategic direction of our forensic mental health services.

Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth clinical assessments, designing tailored intervention plans, and offering specialist psychological supervision and guidance to staff to ensure high-quality, therapeutic support. You will be instrumental in shaping the clinical care of individuals with complex presentations, including those with forensic histories, mental health challenges, and behavioural disorders. 

Penrose Croydon: Our Croydon facility offers a psychologically informed environment across four distinct sites, providing medium and low-support forensic mental health services to men and women. These services are designed to support residents' rehabilitation and aid their successful reintegration into the community. The job holder will work across different sites in the South London area, offering flexibility and the opportunity to engage with a variety of services and residents in need of support.

Shift Pattern: 22.5 hours per week, with flexible scheduling based on service needs. There may be opportunities for remote work, depending on service requirements. 

Salary: NHS Equivalent Band 8A

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a motivated, clinically driven professional who can take leadership in creating and sustaining a positive, psychologically informed environment. You will be confident in delivering complex psychological assessments, developing therapeutic frameworks, and providing clinical supervision to the wider team. Your experience as a Forensic Psychologist will include working with individuals presenting challenging behaviours and mental health issues within forensic or high-risk settings. In this role, you will not only work alongside fellow Forensic Psychologists but also play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the service. You will have the opportunity to influence organisational change, contributing to the wider development of clinical practices within the organisation.

What we are looking for:

• Post-graduate doctoral level training in Applied Psychology (or equivalent) as accredited by the BPD (or equivalent awarding body)
• HCPC registration as an applied Psychologist 
• Previous experience working as a qualified forensic psychologist, including working with people with complex backgrounds/needs and a good understanding of the sector
• Ability to use, learn and adapt to IT at an intermediate level, including Microsoft and other software programs
• Ability to teach, train, consult, and deliver clinical supervision
• Understanding of criminology, psychology, and behavioural patterns, and how they link to different behaviours and engagement
• Ability to understand and apply safeguarding protocols as they arise
• Ability and willingness to show flexibility of working patterns, responding to the needs of the service and residents

WHAT'S SOME OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES YOU WILL HOLD?

• Provide highly specialised psychological assessments for residents with complex mental health conditions

About The Role

The Social Mobility and Widening Participation Senior Officer is a vital member of the department. The post-holder will lead on the development, delivery and evaluation of sustained outreach initiatives. They will also be involved in a range of other challenging projects run across the Social Mobility and Widening Participation Department.

This role will co-lead on the delivery of K+, supporting participants on our arts, humanities and social science pathways. K+ is King’s flagship widening participation programme for sixth form and college students. The post-holder will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive range of events for Year 12 participants as part of non-residential Spring and Summer Schools. This will involve working collaboratively with schools and teachers within Greater London and King’s target regions, King’s faculties and with corporate and charity partners.

The post holder will work closely with the wider Post-16 Programmes team, student ambassadors and key partner staff. This role is responsible to the Social Mobility and Widening Participation Manager.
