This is an exciting new role joining Hope at Home’s Senior Leadership Team with the scope to make a real difference in people’s lives and shape the direction of the charity. You'll work closely with the Operations Director, CEO and a range of stakeholders to manage the development and day-to-day running of Hope at Home’s housing service. You will be joining the charity in an exciting period as we are embarking on setting Hope at Home’s new three-year strategy in a collaborative process that your role will directly feed into and will be guided by input from our service users.
Hours: 35 per week.
Reporting To: Operations Director but as this is a pilot project, you'll be expected to work closely with CEO and Operations Director.
Location: Home working with regular travel along M1 corridor between Sheffield and Derby, you'll need to live within 1 hours travel of these key locations.

The Role:
Planning the project set up
Over the first 6 months of the role and in conjunction with the CEO and Operations Director, you will plan and begin execution of the housing pilot. This will include the development of a fully costed project plan.
Part of the project set up will include working with a wide range of stakeholders: Local Authorities, Landlords or housing providers, Registered Providers, Funders and relevant regulatory bodies.
You will be responsible for securing the use of suitable properties, working with contractors to ensure maintenance and establishing all relevant policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practice are followed as well as developing standard operating procedures for service delivery.
With excellent communication skills and working knowledge, you will establish relationships with relevant Housing Benefit departments to ensure income is secured on behalf of our residents and work on gaining Supported Exempt Accommodation Status.
Planning for service delivery
Your role will involve the development and oversight of case management support to all residents, including recruiting and line managing support workers.
Taking into account the wishes and needs of the residents, you will develop a high-quality service which meets regulatory standards and compliance with Regulator of Social Housing Standards.
As a pilot, you will work in conjunction with the Operations Director to monitor outcomes and evaluate the service to ensure we are meeting agreed expectations.

Main Responsibilities:

Job Description
About the role
The Creative Minds Programme funded by the National Lottery, is designed to enhance mental health and wellbeing for adults in West Kent through engaging in creative activities.
These 24-week programmes are held in various locations across West Kent and are conducted in collaboration with professional artists, local arts organisations, and supported by the West Kent Mind community wellbeing team.
Open to adults (over the age of 18) in West Kent, the programme offers inclusive, free sessions in a wide range of artforms.
Key Objectives include boosting confidence, fostering connections, enhancing life skills, and increasing participants' ability to manage their mental health and support others.
Now in its second year, the programme aims to support 864 adults over three years, with a focus on those with mental health challenges or feelings of loneliness. In addition to creative workshops, the programme offers leadership training to select participants, empowering them to become "Creative Agents." These agents lead "Creative Places" to engage the wider public in community-based creative activities.
The programme is set to conclude in March 2026.
Who you are
All previous experience may be paid or voluntary, full, or part-time, in the UK or overseas.
· Ideally, you will have previously supported people with their mental health and wellbeing.
· You know how to quicky and effectively process referrals.
· It is desirable that you have experience using a client content database (CRM). We use Beacon.
· You are happy working as a team but equally can work independently.

Key Responsibilities
· Together with the Community and Partnerships Manager, you will be setting and completing work objectives.
· You will be putting your administration skills to use to keep accurate records and in line with GDPR processes.

MAP’s Mission
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. MAP is the leading UK charity delivering health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement in the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon.
Job Purpose
MAP is in a period of ambitious growth and rapid development, as we respond to the massive humanitarian crisis in Gaza, and in the West Bank and Lebanon. The role of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is to provide leadership, drive and direction in the development and delivery of MAP’s new strategic ambition, maximising the charity’s sustainable impact.
This is a key role for MAP, and it is expected that the job holder would be making a long-term commitment to the organisation. The post-holder will be tasked with leading MAP to deliver on the strategic ambition of becoming a high impact, global £50 M+ income organisation which enables over 1 million Palestinians to access improved healthcare annually by 2028. MAP’s income in 2023 was £35 M and the forecast for 2024 is £47 M.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
Vision and leadership
- Provide vision, leadership, direction and drive to achieve MAP’s strategic ambition and mission.
- Drive forward organisational transformation, together with the Senior Management Team, always remaining true to MAP’s values and focus on being locally led.

Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established, dedicated and enthusiastic team supporting people with mental health conditions such as stress, anxiety and depression to gain and retain employment.
Hillside Clubhouse is a leading mental health charity offering a friendly and supportive working environment, flexible working, career development opportunities, a comprehensive training and induction programme, a generous holiday entitlement and competitive financial rewards. Hillside Clubhouse operates an established Employment Advice (EA) service integrated into NHS Talking Therapies. The programme aims to support Islington residents who are assessed within Talking Therapies and who require employment advice.
The EAs in Talking Therapies initiative was designed as an integrated employment and mental health service to improve both mental health and employment outcomes. EAs are part of the Talking Therapies team and work alongside therapists to provide employment support to assist clients remain in work, return to work, or find employment. This takes the form of personalised support for the client backed up by an action plan detailing the client’s employment goals and the actions that the client, the therapist, and the EA agree to take to meet these goals.
Overall aim
Talking Therapies is an NHS Programme that provides evidence based psychological therapies to treat people with mild to moderate and moderate to severe depression and anxiety disorders.
The new Employment Advisor (EA) will work within the Islington NHS Talking Therapies provision. They will work one-to-one with a caseload of between 25-35 clients referred by NHS Talking Therapies therapists to find employment, remain in existing work if they are struggling, improve their working environment, return to work following sickness or positively leave or retire from work.
You will primarily fulfil these duties by providing information, advice and guidance to clients who choose to receive employment support. The support aims to empower clients to make better decisions about their working lives, as well as communicate better with colleagues and managers in existing roles. You will also signpost clients to other relevant support agencies, as appropriate.
This role would suit someone with a background in employment support, psychology, counselling, human resources, recruitment, or a desire to transfer their skills into the mental health support sector.
Method of working
EMPLOYMENT ADVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
1. Engage a mixed caseload of clients at any given time serving 100-125 per year, with common mental health problems, to establish trusting, collaborative relationships to support them to find new employment or support them in, or to leave, existing employment. Support will be provided face-to-face in Talking Therapies settings, via secure online meeting platforms or over the telephone.
2. Along with their NHS clinician, assess clients’ support needs with a view to creating, implementing, and adjusting a personalised action plan to help improve clients’ mental health and achieve their stated employment goals.
3. Develop and deliver a range of practical services to support clients to find work, including career guidance, job searching skills, CV preparation, application form completion, interview skills, advice on local labour market opportunities and advice on education and training to further their career.
4. Provide guidance to support clients to stay in existing work, including advice on mental health disclosure, negotiating reasonable adjustments to existing workplaces, creating wellness action plans, and improving productivity, support to return to work after sickness absence or to leave an existing role with dignity, and signpost clients to organisations that can represent them (EAs should only look to represent clients in exceptional circumstances).
5. Facilitate access to other advice in areas such as financial benefits, debt management, food banks and community food outlets and social housing providers, as necessary.
6. Work directly with partners like Jobcentre Plus, other employment providers, employers, trade unions and employment agencies to support clients to stay in employment and secure employment opportunities.
7. Build a constant flow of referrals from the clinical team to ensure a dynamic and mixed caseload.
8. Meet referral and performance targets in line with the specific KPI / SLA requirements of the service.
9. Regularly attend team and other meetings as reasonably expected.
10. Maintain accurate and up to date records of activity and outcomes in line with service requirements, ensuring both the NHS and Hillside Clubhouse databases are kept up to date and paperwork compliant.
11. Receive regular supervision and training to meet individual, team and organisation’s needs.
12. Contribute to the development of a service that is locally responsive and supports minority/disadvantaged communities.

The role holder must also:

The Asylum Support Appeals Project (ASAP) is a small national charity which was set up in 2004 to reduce destitution by protecting people's legal rights to food and shelter. We have a team of 12 permanent staff members and 45 volunteer solicitors and barristers.
ASAP delivers three strands of work:
- High-quality legal representation at the Asylum Support Tribunal, for people appealing against Home Office decisions to refuse or withdraw their accommodation and financial support.
- Training, an advice line and online forum to support hundreds of frontline organisations, advice agencies and legal practitioners across the UK who are helping people apply for financial support or accommodation.
- We use our strong evidence base to improve government policies and procedures on asylum support through policy work and strategic litigation.
The Women’s Legal Advisor works across the three strands of ASAP’s work to promote and protect the rights of women within the asylum support system. It is a varied and interesting role spanning legal representation at the Asylum Support Tribunal (AST), the provision of advice on ASAP’s Advice Line, the delivery of training, and influencing work with the Home Office. The post is currently focused on access to support for those experiencing domestic abuse however, the future focus of this project will be one of the first priorities for the new post holder, after induction.
A strong interest and commitment to upholding the rights of women is essential, as is an understanding of the barriers and difficulties that women seeking asylum face. You will work closely and collaboratively with colleagues internally, providing advice and support on issues impacting women in the asylum system. You will work with partner organisations externally, pursuing asylum support policy improvements for women and supporting advice workers to assist women to access housing and financial support. The role is part of ASAP’s policy team as well as our legal team (staff members providing legal representation at the AST and via our advice line). The Head of Legal provides legal supervision to the role, and assistance with legal accuracy of training materials.

OVERALL AIM
Working in collaboration with the Hillside Clubhouse Recovery project, the Employment Advisor team utilises the structured activity programme to help residents build confidence and transferable skills in a supportive setting. EAs work one-to-one with a caseload of around 40-50 people referred through various routeways including self-referrals, providing information, advice and guidance to empower clients to make better decisions about their career options and working lives, as well as signpost clients to other relevant support agencies, as appropriate.
This role would suit someone with a background in employment support, psychology, counselling, human resources, recruitment, or a desire to transfer their skills into the mental health support sector.

What the job involves
We’re seeking a Digital Channels Officer to join our Web Operations Team covering maternity leave on a fixed term basis.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing content for our website, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and impactful. What we want from you

What the job involves
We’re looking for a Volunteer Experience Coordinator to join our friendly Volunteer Experience team. This is a varied and rewarding role in a fun, dynamic environment, you’ll play a key part in supporting colleagues across the organisation to ensure our volunteers have a fantastic experience. From answering enquiries to designing resources, you’ll be helping volunteers feel valued, supported, and equipped to contribute meaningfully at every stage of their journey with us.
You’ll be the first point of contact for all stakeholders for volunteering enquiries and build strong relationships with volunteers and other stakeholders. Your role will also involve working closely with the team to create helpful resources, plan engaging training sessions, and organise events. Additionally, you’ll play a key part in gathering feedback from volunteers and acting on it to continually improve their experience.

You’ll know what makes a great volunteer experience and will be part of a team working flexibly and collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation. With excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail, you bring a people-focused mindset to everything you do.
You’re comfortable in using databases, web and digital applications, and can adapt quickly to changing priorities. Your ability to stay organised and manage your workload ensures we consistently deliver an outstanding experience for our volunteers. Self-motivated and proactive, you bring a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude to your work.

Job Title: Media and Publicity Manager
Location: London Hybrid or Home based with occasional travel to London

Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented Media and Publicity Manager to lead our public relations (PR) strategy. In this pivotal role, you will enhance our visibility and impact by managing media relations, celebrity engagement, and public-facing PR campaigns to raise awareness of speech, language, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
PR Strategy and Execution
- Develop and execute strategic PR plans to maximize visibility and meet/exceed agreed targets.
- Secure media coverage and engage with celebrities and public figures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts and celebrity supporters.
Media and Celebrity Engagement
- Lead initiatives to engage celebrities and influencers for long-term support.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure PR campaigns align with organizational goals.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Head of Digital, Engagement, and Communications, and other departments, to identify and maximize PR opportunities.
- Support and train media spokespeople to deliver key messages effectively.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of media and celebrity interactions.
- Evaluate PR activities and outcomes to optimize future campaigns.
What we are looking for:
- Professional qualification in PR/Communications.
- Proven success in securing national press coverage and working on high-profile media campaigns.
- Experience with celebrity engagement and producing PR materials for both print and online platforms.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of media outlets and press opportunities.
- Ability to lead PR strategies and deliver impactful campaigns.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, media databases, and online evaluation tools.
