You will enable Pecan’s frontline team to deliver the highest possible standards of service. Main Responsibilities:
- To play a significant role in the pastoral care and wellbeing of staff and volunteers ensuring they feel supported and safe at work and have access to wellbeing support
- To develop and deliver services supporting women affected by the criminal justice system and for local women seeking support, information and community.
- To develop and deliver contracted services to enable people to gain employment.
- Expand the offer to reduce isolation and increase community cohesion as well as tackle some of the barriers facing people.

About this key role
Our successful candidate will provide proactive and inspiring management to a team of SOS caseworkers, where you will plan and support the team’s daily workload, monitor and review probation periods, conduct annual performance reviews and ongoing one-to-one throughout the year and review ongoing personal development plans and agree appropriate training. You will be expected to provide advice and support to team members and attached volunteers in the form of team meetings, regular supervision meetings and daily contact, plus attend community events and meet with commissioners of service to promote the service and build relationships.
We will count on you to provide monthly and quarterly reports to contract managers and funders and to accurately and regularly collect information and evidence to support with the monitoring and the evaluation of the services, while also ensuring that all referred clients are assessed with reference to St Giles Trust practices and that staff produce detailed support and risk management plans based on these assessments.
What we are looking for
- To have worked on an offender-led support project, had personal experience of the criminal justice system, served a prison sentence, or still be serving a prison sentence in a prison within reach of London
- Experience in negotiating and networking with partner agencies to establish links to further the aims of a project
- Extensive supervisory experience in a Criminal Justice setting
- Experience of working with vulnerable young people and adults
- Experience of setting up and operating systems to monitor and report on work with clients
- Mentoring Level 3 qualification (or be willing to work towards this)
- Excellent prioritisation, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- A flexible, collaborative and professional approach to your work.

Sutton Carers Centre works in partnership to help improve and maintain the quality of life for these Young and Adult Carers living, working, studying or caring in the London Borough of Sutton.
We are looking to recruit to a key and rewarding role in our charity. The members of our team are highly skilled, passionate and committed, so we are looking for an experienced administrator who can support them. The successful candidate will be skilled in office administrative functions, to ensure the delivery of an efficient, friendly and smooth-running Centre as well as office co-ordination and support services. The post-holder will have experience of developing, maintaining and improving systems in an office environment. Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities
The Senior Programme Development Specialist will work on complex and major bids, often on multimillion consortia, commercial contracts and multi-country partnerships, and will be expected to take a high degree of responsibility for developing successful bids including negotiations with internal and external partners.
This position will drive a high-quality bidding process with institutional donors and large foundations to build a healthy and sustainable funding pipeline so that CIUK can achieve our programme goals. Rainbow Migration, the longest-running charity in Europe dedicated to supporting LGBTQI+ people through the asylum and immigration system, is recruiting a Legal Officer to advise and help improve the representation of LGBTQI+ people seeking asylum and help change the asylum and immigration system to one that treats everyone with compassion, dignity and respect.
We are looking for a qualified solicitor or barrister with valid practising certificate, or already accredited to Level 3 OISC, with two years’ experience in providing advice and representation in asylum including working in legal aid.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the legal advice service. Under the guidance of our Legal Service Manager, you will also build capacity amongst legal representatives by designing and delivering training, giving second tier advice and developing and coordinating a network of practitioners working in this area. You will use the knowledge you gain in this role to help deliver Rainbow Migration’s policy work, such as inputting into policy papers and meeting with partner organisations when required.
We will also consider applications from people who do not want to do the policy elements of the job, but to instead focus on first and second tier advice. Please mention in your covering letter if you are applying for this option.
This is a unique opportunity to build on your experience as a lawyer to improve representation across the sector and create change in government policy and practice. You will be supported to develop as a specialist lawyer and in your policy skills.
Responsibilities will include:
· Deliver one-off advice to adult LGBTQI+ people seeking asylum and work with colleagues to refer them to quality legal aid and pro bono lawyers

· Deliver second tier advice to the legal representatives of LGBTQI+ people seeking asylum and other charities and professionals
· Work with the Legal Service Manager to design and deliver training to lawyers, NGOs and other professionals
· Write blogs and articles on asylum and immigration policy and legislation as they apply to LGBTQI+ people
· Contribute to policy and briefing papers
· Assist with preparing guidelines and briefings for legal services and pro bono lawyers
The Legal Officer will not be providing direct legal representation of service users. However, the role includes substantive advice and casework within the scope of legal support and referrals for our service users, as well as merits testing and second tier advice.

Contract Type: Permanent.
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week). Working part-time or job-sharing will be considered. Occasional work in the evenings and at weekends may be required but with plenty of notice. Rainbow Migration encourages staff to maintain a good work life balance and has a TOIL system in place.
Salary: Starting at £40,175, with potential annual step increases up to £44,868 (pro-rata for part-time employees), plus statutory employer’s pension contribution. In addition to an annual step increase, the trustees consider giving a separate inflationary increase every April.
Location: Remote or from Rainbow Migration’s offices in central London. Hybrid working will also be considered. We're looking for an ideas person, able work quickly and without assistance to source London, higher education and research content, and to deliver this to a wide range of audiences across different media, as well as to further develop our current campaigns, website reach and social media channels.
We're looking for someone who is happy networking, to help us discover further opportunities for us to get our work out there. Experience in dealing with media and members' communications teams is essential. Ultimately, the Head of Communications is there to ensure that London Higher is engaging with its key stakeholders regularly, positively and consistently.

We are looking for an Immigration Advisor to provide tailor-made advice to individual clients and to engage them in the process of making informed choices about their future direction. This is an exciting role in our Immigration Team that will work closely with the team to ensure that the centre is able to provide confidential advice and representation, whilst providing support and training to colleagues. We are passionate about defending the rights of our clients and you will be joining a team that achieve great results. The role is pivotal in providing highly skilled legal advice and representation to vulnerable clients across London at no cost to the individual. This is particularly important at a time where free or low-cost advice is becoming harder to find.
If you have the IAAS senior caseworker accreditation, you will be a key advisor with regards to Legal Aid work, including prioritising Legal Aid cases and ensuring that Legal Aid is used whenever appropriate throughout the team.
