About the role

With your own caseload of families, you will act as their key worker and support them to either resettle or prevent homelessness. Your primary focus will be on households where some tailored interventions are required around the needs of the children in order to stabilise their housing situation and enable the family to thrive.

Accordingly, you will provide intensive, tailored support as part of a whole family approach in a 1-2-1 setting and through group work. You will also need to regularly visit clients’ homes, schools and community venues across the city and liaise with other agencies in the community in order to provide a co-ordinated service.

About you

You have knowledge of child development and a strong understanding of homeless children and families, with experience of supporting parents, children and young people who have complex needs.  You also have knowledge of housing, homelessness and ASB legislation and welfare benefits that affect families and the skills to network and gather information as well as advocacy, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

You will need to be able to demonstrate that you have worked within, or understand, a safeguarding framework, are IT literate and have experience of managing a caseload and can prioritise, organise and set boundaries. With a full driving licence, you will have access to a vehicle for work purposes, an allowance and mileage will be paid.

This is an exciting and challenging position, which will be pivotal in growing the acquisition programme as part of our 5-year strategy. Criteria

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised individual with excellent communication and analytical skills. You’ll enjoy looking for ways to optimise all elements of campaigns from creative, content and media testing and able to act as a key point of knowledge in this area. Experience of DRTV is required, with an understanding of individual giving fundraising KPIs, including in relation to: DRTV, print, telemarketing, email and landing pages. You will be confident working with data with attention to detail and accuracy, from briefing data criteria for emails to using excel to review and share results. You will also be able to engage wider stakeholders in our acquisition testing plan development, providing clear regular communication to update on progress and learnings. Most importantly, you’ll be keen to deliver insight and audience-led, best in class fundraising campaigns to help Brooke realise an ambitious acquisition growth programme. `

It is desirable for candidates to be proficient in one or more Eastern European languages.

You will have proven experience of providing direct emotional and practical support to women as well as up-to-date knowledge of legislation relating to survivors of gender-based violence. You will have excellent casework skills, good written and verbal communication skills, clear professional boundaries and be a proactive team player. All candidates must demonstrate a commitment to the feminist values of empowerment and equality which underpin all of our work. 

The post holder will provide a high-quality personal welfare support service to Eastern European survivors of domestic abuse and other forms of violence and abuse and their children. The post holder will empower Eastern European survivors by providing them with emotional and practical support, including support to access safe accommodation.

Islamic Relief UK (IRUK) is recruiting for the position of ‘Digital Product Specialist’ on a permanent, full-time basis, to be based from its Waterloo Office, London. The organisation is currently operating to a hybrid working model.

Job Purpose:

• Manage the digital assets of Islamic Relief UK, particularly the website, ensuring that it operates in an optimal manner.
• Manage the development, evolution and/or integration of digital assets, e.g. digital giving platforms and digital events management systems.
• Ensure all development projects have well considered user interfaces and provide an optimal user experience.
• Provide the Digital Marketing team support with technical SEO, email marketing, and tracking/reporting across key digital marketing platforms.

The successful candidate must have:

• Proven record of excellent people and interpersonal skills with strong communication skills at individual and group levels.
• Experience of managing web development projects
• Experience of working with internal clients and diverse teams
• Experience of delivering with a marketing budget and using resources effectively to successfully balance creative aspirations with limited financial and other resources
• An academic qualification at degree level or equivalent experience/qualification in a digital/developer related field
• A comprehensive knowledge of CMSs, preferably WordPress
• Working knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, SQL and JavaScript and version controlling with Git
• Experienced in interpreting data from Google Analytics, Google Search Console and other analytic platforms
• In-depth understanding of UX and UI in the context of web design
• Knowledge and understanding of implementing technical SEO
• Commercially aware, with good understanding of budget management
• Ability to communicate technical information and requirements to non-technical management and internal stakeholders
• Experienced in working from wireframes and written design briefs to build mobile responsive solutions
• An aptitude for managing short-term projects effectively
• An understanding of marketing trends and the charity market

> Role Overview

The Festivals & Events Producer curates and executes a range of Symphony experiences—from intimate worship nights to large-scale gatherings like “Tribe: Festival of Hope.” You’ll balance creative vision with logistical precision to produce memorable events that highlight the talents of Black, Brown, and LGBTQ+ communities.

> Key Responsibilities

• Event Curation & Production

• Develop concepts, run-of-show, and themes for festivals, conferences, and special events.

• Manage vendor relationships, scheduling, budgeting, and on-site logistics.

• Creative Collaboration

• Work closely with Symphony Arts, Academy, and Campaign teams to align programming with our mission.

• Ensure each event fosters joyful, inclusive spaces for participants of all abilities.

• Monitor production budgets, negotiate contracts, and streamline cost-effectiveness.

• Coordinate staff, volunteers, and freelance crews on event days.

• Stakeholder Engagement

Position Overview: 

 As the Global Impact Associate, you play a crucial role in contributing to the organization's overall effectiveness. Your multifaceted role involves maintaining the retrospective knowledge repository, managing data collection instruments, leading story collection efforts, deriving thematic insights, and supporting strategic KLI activities. You are instrumental in operationalizing impact practices, preparing reports, facilitating organizational learning, and conducting research on prioritized themes.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Developing data collection tools and systems and liaising with the respective program teams to manage and upkeep them.

• Conducting data analysis, including (1) qualitative interviews with current and previous programmatic staff, partners, and participants, (2) quantitative data from surveys (3) literature reviews on thought pieces across the broader ecosystem.

• Drafting reports, visuals, and presentations to communicate trends and insights from our programmatic body of work framed for internal and external audiences.

• Managing and updating organisational knowledge repository systems by coordinating with teams across the organization.

• Working in conjunction with the Senior Manager to develop strategic pieces, including annual reports, learning circles, communities of practice, etc.

• Regularly engaging in feedback practices with managers and peers in an effort to upskill and grow within the portfolio 

Skills & Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who has:

• 1-3 years of professional experience in a relevant area, with some understanding of how impact is evaluated in development work (e.g., reporting to funders, managing data, and using systems approaches). 

• Qualitative and quantitative data analysis skills, especially in translating observations into resonant stories and actionable insights

• Ability to cultivate strong relationships with diverse stakeholders and seek timely feedback from their manager

• Strong project management skills  with an ability to anticipate challenges, plan ahead and independently prioritise tasks

• Commitment to learning about and advancing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging within the impact work and broader engagements at CPI

This exciting new role is perfect for a candidate who wants to deliver an immediate impact in their work and is enthusiastic about bringing people long with them, through a combination of:

• On-the-day supervision to our paid and voluntary staff across various workstreams.
• Conducting case review of debt issues (supported by our Quality of Advice and Case Review team) to ensure a gold standard in the quality of our advice.
• Playing a leadership role in nurturing partnerships, such as with council officers and specialist debt charities, to support our debt advice work and create pathways for client solutions.
• Shaping our directory of services for debt advice by supporting our leadership team to identify key areas of debt advice, desired client outcomes, and the steps required to resolve those client issues.
• Design and deliver training on debt issues to both paid and voluntary staff, as well as to community stakeholders.
• Supervise and monitor volunteers carrying out a small amount of casework where the client’s issue is of sufficient complexity to warrant engaging your expertise.
• Guaranteeing compliance with Financial Conduct Authority rules and regulations.
• Leading on research and campaign issues relating to debt and identifying where we can make a difference locally through our advocacy and case studies.
