Bgen Coordinator

Main duties and responsibilities
1. Bgen Board and legal services:
a. Organise 4 Board meetings a year, prepare and circulate agendas and documents, take notes and share minutes.
b. Produce a quarterly activity report to the Bgen Board.
c. Organise the Annual General Meeting.
d. Maintain up to date records of Trustees, and ensure they have access to Governing Documents, including notification of legal obligations.
e. Submit annual returns to the Charity Commission on time and help ensure compliance.
2. Member services:
a. Act as the first point of contact for current and potential members.
b. Support the Board with planning and promotion of training events (online or in-person), booking speakers and managing bookings.
c. Advise on and help implement an effective communications programme.
d. Update the Bgen website and promote on social media as required.
e. Keep membership records up to date and manage renewals annually.
f. Organise and distribute online mail-outs and newsletters.
g. Organise the jobs and volunteer opportunities service for members.
3. Conference planning
a. Coordinate annual conference (online or in-person) with support from the Training and Conference workstream.
b. Book speakers and workshop facilitators.
c. Help promote the conference with members, partners and wider sector via newsletter and social media channels.
d. Manage bookings, participants list and send out conference pack.
e. Organise catering with venue and relevant workstream.
f. Coordinate conference logistics and event management.
4. Finance
a. Work closely with the Treasurer, Treasury group and bookkeeper in preparing financial reports.
b. Administer general accounts – invoices, receipts etc.
c. Manage conference budget.

As Senior Individual Giving Fundraiser, you’ll work as part of the Public Fundraising team responsible for managing a portfolio of Individual Giving campaigns from inception through to evaluation to generate funds, improve engagement and increase life-time value of existing supporters.

The role

The role of Volunteering Manager will work to review and expand Concordia’s Volunteering programmes to ensure a variety of attractive opportunities both in the UK and abroad. ABOUT THE ROLE:
This newly created role will be responsible for defining, shaping and implementing key processes and systems related to programme management, and overall business operations including finance. Be responsible for all aspects of the management, development and maintenance of SCA Port Hope building, site and its external premises.

Ensure statutory inspections and routine checks on health and safety and security are scheduled, undertaken, accurately recorded and, where appropriate, and reported in a timely fashion. This includes fire and security alarm systems and equipment, any others that are relevant.

We are looking for a Brand Services Executive to support with brand requests and queries from across the organisation, to ensure the Sightsavers brand standards are implemented, and that colleagues are familiar with and know how to use the brand resources available to them. They will work directly with internal clients, providing authoritative project coordination as well as commissioning services and materials from suppliers and delivering branding projects..
Key duties will include:

Our client, a new start up business school, is recruiting for an Admissions Coordinator. This role is responsible for coordinating efficient functioning of the admissions processes across all programmes from application to admission.
This is a full time temporary role in the first instance, looking to go permanent for the right candidate. You will be required on site 4 days per week for the initial training period, and this can go down to 3 days once you are established in the role.
You will need experience, knowledge, and understanding of the UK and international education environment, and a good understanding of the applicant journey from application to admission.
Experience of UCAS applications and processes, and UKVI and issuing CAS is essential. Additionally, you will need good communication skills, an eye for detail, and excellent IT skills.

What would we like…?
We're looking for someone with a good understanding of customer service delivery and best practice to join our Admissions team as Admissions Officer (internally known as Admissions Associate).
You'll be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and support to applicants interested in completing one of our programmes. You'll help applicants to complete their application and onboarding which is achieved through: calls and emails to current applicants, responding to queries via phone and email, supporting on communication strategies and implementation, ensuring data integrity and running processes to drive forward the applicant pipeline.
We would like you to:
- Deliver excellent customer service by replying to email queries and helpline calls in a clear, friendly and timely manner
- Finding solutions for applicant problems and sharing best practice.
- Support pipeline management and proactively work to convert the applicants through strong communication. This will entail administering and monitoring sales call and email campaigns and handling inbound and strategic outbound sales calls
- Monitor and analyse reports from our database/CRM: Salesforce to better understand applicant issues and pipeline trends.
Working in a hybrid way, you’ll be attached to either our Birmingham, London or Manchester office and will report to an Admissions Senior Associate. In line with our current ways of working, you’ll be expected to be in the office at least 1 day a month, in addition to team days and this may be reviewed by Ambition.

To succeed in this role you'll have the ability to clearly communicate and deliver processes. You'll evidence strong attention to detail. Our ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively and independently with a high level of self-motivation.
We will provide full training to ensure you understand and can effectively communicate our programme content, key selling points and admissions criteria to applicants.

Learning Disability Community Caseworker
Do you have experience in giving money or energy advice? Are you organised and can manage a varied workload? Yes, we may have the role for you.
Mencap's advice service are looking for a Learning Disability Community Caseworker that specialises in delivering energy and money advice using video calling, telephone and email advice and face to face in the community.
This is a fixed term contract until March 2026, working 30 hours per week. We are flexible to where you do your work, but there will be an expectation of travel to our Peterborough office or community venues when needed.
Working with three other Energy and Money Advice Caseworkers - you will:
· Offer clear accessible advice to people with a Learning Disability, their families and carers.
· Manage a caseload of your own clients.
· Create, book and deliver workshops, events and webinars on Money and Energy Advice.
· Identify and undertake safeguarding alerts, following up on these and challenging them if necessary.
· Ensure that the caseworkers are at the right locations, with the right stock and equipment ensuring cost-efficient travel and venue planning/booking and excellent time management.
· Working with Subject Matter Experts in other nominated advice areas, to refer cases in and out of other parts of the team when the clients need more than Money and Energy Advice.
· Communicate effectively and accessibly, with empathy and clarity.
· Assist with the monitoring and evaluation of the project, capturing K.P.I's and flagging any slippage.

Your Job Description
As a Youth Project Leader, you will:
• Deliver ReachOut sessions at the same partner school on the same day and time weekly during term time.
• Prepare your ReachOut sessions, following ReachOut’s curriculum and adapting the activities to the needs and interests of your assigned group.
• Facilitate engaging ReachOut sessions for the young people attending by ensuring that the voice of young people is listened to and impacts the way the sessions are planned and facilitated.
• Manage and support a group of volunteer mentors; supporting them to build strong rapport with their mentees and helping them to understand how to best adapt their mentoring approach to the young people they are working with.
• Support theyoung people in your session to reach and be confident in their potential by facilitating the creation of good mentee/mentor relationships and by running activities to build the ReachOut Character Strengths.
• Complete monitoring and evaluation activities to ensure the sessions are as impactful as possible and set up strategies with the help of your line manager to help each young person in your group reach their mentoring goal.
• Keep in touch with the parents/carers of the young people in your group about attendance, successes and challenges.
• Manage your project’s weekly admin by planning your sessions, maintaining your attendance and providing detailed project updates to your line manager.
