The HR Officer will provide expert support and advice to operational management in all areas of HR whilst consistently demonstrating HR best practice. The HR Officer will be the initial point of contact for all operational HR related matters. The HR Officer will proactively assist with the development and achievement of the team and the Organisational outcomes on any Dimensions strategy.
This is a Home Based role with some occasional travel across the region so essential you are based in the Wales area.
The hours available to work are 15 a week. The full-time salary is £31,000 pro-rata salary of £12,400 for 15 hours.
Friday is an essential day to work but there is flexibility across the rest of the week.
About the role
Your main duties will include:
- Providing first level advice and guidance on HR Policies and procedures, employment law and employee relations issues with the guidance of the HR Business partner as required.
- Advising and supporting Locality Managers with disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance improvement cases
- Ensure the provision of appropriate, timely and accurate management information to support strategy development, management decision making and improve the effectiveness of HR Services as and when required.
- Review sickness absence and undertake relevant interventions, including referrals to Occupational Health and advice to Locality Managers on phased return
About you
The successful applicant will have:
- Possess operational HR experience supporting managers in all aspects of HR
- Experience in developing metrics and reports with data analysis ability
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and influence
- Must have excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook

Job Outline:
CFAB is a national charity and the UK branch of the International Social Service network. CFAB’s social work team helps to resolve cases involving child protection, children in care, unaccompanied children, and vulnerable adults when the case crosses international borders. CFAB social workers and caseworkers offer advice and guidance to individuals and local authorities and help to link social work services between the UK and other countries.
The main purpose of this role is to assist with the day to day running of the CFAB Advice Line and manage a caseload of allocated inter-country cases originating from the UK or overseas.
Key responsibilities:
To participate in running the advice line service and responding to enquiries made to CFAB:
- Offer advice to local authority professionals, NGOs and individuals on international child protection issues and casework
- Advise on CFAB referral procedure and fees
- Send follow-up information and documents to enquirers
- Liaise with overseas partners for advice and country-specific information
To manage a caseload of allocated cases originating from the UK or overseas:
- Offer advice and guidance to referrers on good practice in international child protection casework
- Assess cases referred to CFAB, identifying the intervention required and the resources/agency to undertake it
- Prepare information for referral abroad or to an agency in the UK
- Establish, develop and maintain good relationships with clients and/or agencies in the UK and overseas to ensure the progression of cases to resolution

The role of an IDVA is to address the safety of victims and survivors at high risk of harm. IDVAs work with their customers from the point of crisis by safety planning and risk assessing using the DASH to ascertain the level of risk to the victim.

About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work in an experienced HR team supporting the Museum's Operations Division. Our Operations Division comprises key functional areas including Advancement, Finance, Governance and Security departments.
As an integral member of a busy HR department, you will help to ensure the delivery of an effective and reliable HR service. You will perform a range of tasks, while focusing on actively managing our recruitment and onboarding processes, including placing advertisements, scheduling interviews and carrying out pre-employment checks.

This innovative role has been created to respond to recent demands for an integrative approach into support delivery of vulnerable adults presenting a severe and enduring mental illness and/or a forensic background, at times in combination with substance misuse.
The post holder will lead on creating a therapeutically informed programme in order to develop a Psychological Informed Environment in the service.
The role would suit an experienced counsellor/psychotherapist who will lead in facilitating therapeutic groups and individual counselling /therapy for service users. On the other side provide support to the staff team in developing their psychological understanding and raising awareness in the emotional impact of working with this client group.
The Therapist will work with the service users in order to improve engagement with support services as well as providing in depth sessions with them with the desired outcome of supporting them to better manage the psychological distress and to have a clearer insight into their own emotional wellbeing.
Key information and documentation will be kept up to the required standard as expected between a therapist and a client and the post holder will adhere to all relevant legislation that governs these professional relationships.
The post holder will work flexibly across the service and will use technology were appropriate to ensure time is effectively used across the service provision.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and administrative skills to ensure the smooth delivery of our events, meetings and other activities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Programme delivery
- Develop and deliver an annual programme of in-person and online events across London, Manchester, and Merseyside for Arts Emergency’s Young Community, volunteers and Network Members
- Collaborate with Community colleagues to ensure alignment and crossover between in-person and digital engagement opportunities
- Provide event coordination support for Youth Collective activities, such as online meetings and residentials
- Produce reports about activity, outputs, and impact of the events programme as required
Programme administration
- Develop, test, and troubleshoot forms and processes within the CRM database to support the delivery of the events programme
- Ensure that all activity for the events programme is captured accurately in the CRM database
- Respond to queries about the events programme from Young Community members and Network Members
- Coordinate the administration of travel and access repayments

The post holder will be fully involved in all aspects of the day-to-day management of their designated service, including line managing the relevant front-line staff. You will lead and develop competence of direct reports as well as carry caseloads of customers requiring support. Responsibilities and Duties
