We are looking for an experienced, strategically minded and solutions focused Senior Operations Manager to join us here at the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) as part of our Exams Team.
The RCR creates and delivers exams on the behalf of the General Medical Council (GMC) to assess doctors qualifying as Clinical Oncologists (cancer doctors) and Radiologists (doctors who diagnose through medical imaging). The Senior Operations Manager will oversee the work of the operational exam delivery team, working at a high level to realise our growth plans.

What you’ll do:

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Training Manager to join an established and well-regarded Gloucestershire disability charity to lead on the delivery of peer led Abuse Awareness, Self-Advocacy and Enablement Training for adults in Gloucestershire with learning disabilities.
Training is delivered through both individual and group training sessions across the county.
By enabling and empowering Individuals to make decisions and act, the training will support people with a learning disability to develop the skills they need to ensure they are able to safeguard themselves from harm, contribute towards more independent living, and maintain and/or improve their health and wellbeing.
About You
You will be a highly motivated and engaging professional, with knowledge and experience in delivering and evaluating the effectiveness of training sessions, as well as guaranteeing the quality of delivery by the wider training team. The successful candidate will have a background in training or delivering in an academic environment. Direct experience of working with people with a learning disability is strongly preferred.

Role Overview:

We are recruiting for a Peer Employment Worker to join the Tower Hamlets Mental Health Employment Service.
Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training around employment support and in supporting people with mental health issues. As this is a Peer role applicants must have lived experience of mental health, either personally or through a close contact.
You need to have a desire to support people to achieve their employment goals, and the ability to multitask and manage your workload effectively. You must be willing to share your experience of mental health and employment to support clients to address their concerns about employment and to support them to develop strategies to support them sustaining work. Good organisation skills are essential for this role, in addition to an interest in mental health, and the role it plays in the workplace. Experience of pre-employment support such as CV and application writing, and interview practice is desirable.
The role we are recruiting for is as follows:
One Full Time: 35 hours per week - we offer flexible working which for this role is three days on site in our office in Bethnal Green and two days working from home.
You will work with clients (managing a caseload) who have mental health support needs, to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences, to access training, education and volunteering opportunities. You will use a client led/person centred support approach.
You will also be working to targets whilst maintaining a high-quality service.

The Head of Digital Learning (internally known as EdTech Lead) will be a new and pivotal role that will support with the successful implementation of the Digital Academy. This role will sit within the Education and Training Division of Anna Freud but they will entail working closely with senior colleagues from across Anna Freud including the Education and Training Division Leadership team, Closing the Gap Acceleration (CtGA) team and the different Heads of departments. Externally they will liaise with external tech organisations to support procurement of new platforms and they will conduct market research to assess the market, target audience and consumer demand for the various services that might be offered through the Digital Academy.
The successful candidate will join a fast-paced, growing and successful team. They will need to be an experienced professional within the field of educational technology, with a good grasp of learning design and virtual learning platforms, as well as experience of commissioning/procuring digital platforms and a demonstrable ability to undertake market research within both home and international markets. An understanding of working in the charity sector and/or within an education and training environment would be helpful. Experience of undertaking projects centered around children, young people and families, mental health or other health-related/science subjects would be welcomed.

St Marylebone Parish Church is pleased to be partnering exclusively with Robertson Bell in our search for a Head of Finance & Operations to join our team on a permanent basis. St Marylebone Parish Church is a monumental Grade 1- listed building and a place of active and engaged Christian witness that has been creating, naming and shaping community for almost 1,000 years.
As Head of Finance and Operations you will lead the lay staff team and help establish and deliver a strong strategic vision for the parish church through providing strong leadership to the finance, administration and operations of the parish church day-to-day.
The Organisation:
Today’s parish church – the fourth to have served the parish – is not only home to a diverse worshipping congregation, but to a flourishing Centre for Psychotherapy and a long-established innovative NHS Primary Care Practice. In addition, there are two parish Academy schools, the Outstanding The St Marylebone CE School and the UK’s only Church Special School, The St Marylebone CE Bridge School.
The present Parish Church, erected between 1813 and 1817, is renowned for its world-class music and community engagement. Everyone is welcome here and the building is open 365 days a year. In 2024, St Marylebone Parish Church was named UK Church of the Year and the UK’s Best Church Open for Visitors by the National Churches’ Trust.
The key duties of this Head of Finance & Operations are as follows:
- Lead on the development and execution of financial strategy, financial planning, budgeting and cost control.
- Ensure that resources (money, people and property) are managed effectively and efficiently in support of the strategy, aims and objectives of the parish church.
- Manage the running of financial operations including the preparation of management accounts, cash flow forecasts, out-sourced payroll, tax returns, creditor payments and investments.
- Manage budgeting and planning processes, providing all appropriate financial data, and supporting budget-holding staff in all areas.
- Manage the preparation of statutory accounts and be the main contact with external auditors.
- Work with building and maintenance team to ensure that St. Marylebone’s parish church is well maintained, preserved and presented.
- Manage the administration associated with the PCC, monitoring actions and helping to prepare meeting agendas.
- Work with HR to lead the personnel function for all PCC employees.
- Support the Heritage, Events and Volunteer Manager in their efforts to bring in more and different visitors to the parish church.
- Work with the Building Manager to ensure that Health and Safety matters and security are managed effectively.
- Work closely with the Technology and Operations Manager to ensure that the IT, AV and other systems serving the parish church operate effectively.
- Work with the Community & Development Manager, to support fundraising activities.
The successful candidate will have:
- A full accountancy qualification, or equivalent qualification by experience.
- Previous experience within a Cathedral, Major Parish Church or elsewhere in the charity sector.
- Expert understanding and knowledge of SORP.
- Experience in budgeting and cost control, including provision of reports and analysis to an audience with different levels of financial literacy.
- Experience in managing and motivating teams.
- Confident financial leadership skills, capable of directing financial strategy and delivering highest quality financial management.
- Empathy and excitement for the parish church’s purpose, vision and priorities.
Candidates must live within a commutable distance from our offices in St Marylebone, although opportunities to work from home will be on offer for up to two days per week.

About the role:
In this role, you will support the Patrons team, enabling positive relationships with the Museum's Patrons and Departmental Supporter Groups. You will achieve this by ensuring that administrative processes such as Patrons' renewals and thank you letters are completed in an efficient, accurate and timely manner, and that, under the guidance of the Senior Patrons Manager, regular communications to Patrons reflect the level of excellence and bespoke service expected of the British Museum Patrons Team.
Key areas of responsibility:
To take primary responsibility for the administration and co-ordination of the Patrons scheme, including:
- Responding to Patrons enquiries, resolving any requests from Patrons as they arise or escalating them to the Senior Patrons Manager and Patrons Manager as appropriate.
- Drafting regular communications which reflect the high-level of service and special relationship held between the Patrons Team and Patrons.
- Liaising with the Operations and Membership and Supporter Services teams to organise and mail monthly Patron renewals, ensuring renewals data is accurate and sent in a timely manner.
- Working with the Membership and Supporter Engagement team to support the production of regular email and postal communications.
To assist in the organisation of regular Patrons events, including:
- Liaising with third-parties and Museum colleagues to arrange event logistics (as directed by the Membership and Supporter Events Manager).
- Providing effective and accurate support for two annual events: the Director's Dinner and Patrons' Open House.
- Liaising with the Development Data and Research Officer on briefing notes for events.

Role Purpose
The main purposes of the Head of Curriculum and Growth role are:
- Overseeing the design and maintenance of consistently high-quality workshops and resources (Tender’s curriculum) across all programmes, incorporating drama and the arts and appropriate subject matter expertise
- Developing a strategic plan for expanding Tender’s reach and impact, and working in collaboration with the Director of Services to execute expansion plans
- Overseeing the recruitment, training and ongoing development and management of Tender’s freelance workshop facilitators
Main Responsibilities and Duties
Curriculum and quality assurance
- Overseeing the development and introduction of all new content in Tender’s curriculum, working in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure secondary research, beneficiary need, subject matter expertise and beneficiary voice (in particular, youth voice) is appropriately incorporated and content is evidence-based
- Developing, reviewing, updating and implementing Tender’s quality assurance framework to ensure Tender’s curriculum remains of a consistently high quality
- Overseeing the regular review of existing curriculum to ensure content remains internally consistent across Tender, up to date and incorporates new information and best practice teaching methods
- Working in collaboration with the Research & Impact Manager, ensuring relevant primary and secondary research and learnings from Tender’s programmes are incorporated into Tender’s curriculum to maximise the impact of Tender’s programmes
- Championing excellence in the design and delivery of Tender’s curriculum across the organisation, including building strong relationships with other Heads of Departments and Programme Managers
Workshop leader oversight
- Working in collaboration with the Head of Schools & Youth Settings and Head of Adult Services, identifying gaps in workshop leader pools and overseeing the timely recruitment of a sufficient number of workshop leaders across all regions to deliver all planned projects
- Developing and implementing a consistent and robust workshop leader induction plan for all new facilitators
- Developing and implementing an ongoing training and development plan for workshop leaders to ensure consistently high quality and current standards of delivery to all beneficiary groups, and ensuring any gaps in existing skills and knowledge are addressed
- Working in collaboration with the Director of Services, Head of Schools and Youth Settings and Head of Adult Services, develop and implement processes to monitor workshop leader performance
- Overseeing the provision of wellbeing support for workshop leaders, including regular check-ins and gathering formal and informal feedback
Growth
- Researching and identifying potential geographic areas and target populations for expanding Tender’s reach and impact in a planned and targeted manner
- Working in collaboration with the Research & Impact Manager, assessing the need for, and potential impact of, Tender’s work in new geographic areas or with new target populations
- Working in collaboration with the Development team, identifying and developing new partnerships, collaborations and funding opportunities to ensure any growth can be properly resourced and sustained
- Developing and supporting the Director of Services to execute a strategic plan for expanding Tender’s work to new geographic regions and to new target populations in 2024-26
Administration
- Supporting the SLT in effective risk management by proactively and regularly identifying potential risks and recommending mitigating actions to the Director of Services
- Completing all mandatory training, and proactively seeking opportunities for ongoing professional development
- Following all Tender policies and procedures, including safeguarding, data protection and equal opportunities
- Working as a member of the Tender team and carrying out other duties that may be required to meet the needs of the organisation

The Senior Development Manager plays a vital, strategic role in enabling the Development team to reach our ambitious fundraising target.
