What could my day look like?
The Education Worker role is a frontline, fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same. A typical day will have different activities, possibly spread between the IntoUniversity centre, partner schools and the offices of a corporate partner.
In the morning, you might be setting off with resources to run a workshop for sixth-form students in their secondary school. In the afternoon you may be setting up the classroom ahead of running Primary Academic Support for young people in your IntoUniversity centre. On other days, you may be travelling to a corporate partner to run a business simulation workshop for 15 year-olds or leading a group of final year primary school students on a campus visit for their graduation.
As an Education Worker, you’ll always be delivering the programme as part of your centre team, which means that any delivery is always a team effort.
IntoUniversity provides local learning centres where young people are inspired to achieve.

The Talent Set is delighted to be partnering with the Lord’s Taverners in their search for two newly created Event Executive roles. The charity exists to positively impact the lives of young people facing the challenges of inequality. They work across the UK to provide inclusive and impactful cricket programmes, empowering young people with disabilities and from disadvantaged communities to develop the knowledge, skills, capabilities and confidence required to overcome the challenges of inequality, raise their aspirations and reach their potential.
It's a hugely exciting year for the Lord’s Taverners who are celebrating their 75th anniversary! Particularly for the events team, there is a lot of activity happening across 2025 to celebrate this milestone and to raise vital income and awareness for the charity.
The team are expanding and they are adding two brand new Event Executive roles to support the hugely successful regional events programme and Committees. You will play a crucial role in supporting the management, planning and delivery of a range of special events including fundraising dinners, cricket match events, golf days, comedy nights and more.
The Role:
· Provide event and admin support to the regional, volunteer-led Committees in the delivery of fundraising events
· Establish strong relationships with senior volunteers to provide exceptional engagement with the charity
· Act as the day to day contact for event queries
· Effectively use the database to capture donor and supporter information to ensure all records are up to date
· Research and prepare briefing notes on high value prospects and event guests to support with donor cultivation and stewardship
· Support the Events Manager with ticket administration, guest list management, creation of marketing materials and other event/marketing admin
· Proactively source high value prizes that can be used in fundraising activities and auctions
· Deliver exceptional stewardship to donors and event guests to ensure positive and continued engagement with the charity
About You:
· An enthusiastic and proactive individual with experience in a fundraising or events role
· Experience of supporting the delivery of special events
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to engage with stakeholders confidently
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
· A good understanding of and proficiency in using a database

JOB DESCRIPTION – Finance & Operations Coordinator
Reporting to: Business Development & Operations Manager
About the role
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants their work to contribute to the effective operational running of the organisation. You will provide a vital link across Collaborate and so you’ll need to be a good communicator and collaborator. You will liaise with our project and internal teams to ensure the accuracy and consistency of our information, to support good management and decision-making. Your work will help us to ensure that we are managing our project budgets appropriately, particularly in relation to expenses and sub-contractor (Associate) costs.
We’re looking for a highly numerate and well-organised person, someone who enjoys working with data, with impeccable attention to detail and who is eager to support our finance and operations functions.
As with all of our roles, you should seek to embody the values of the organisation in all that you do.
Job responsibilities
You will be supported by and work closely with the Business Development & Operations Manager and will liaise with our bookkeeper.
Your day-to-day role includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Finances

Ensuring our financial records are complete and accurate.

Processing and approving the team’s monthly expenses.
-
Liaising with project teams to ensure project expenses budgets are managed effectively.

Processing and ensuring our Associates’ invoices are approved and paid each month.

Help to develop a new process for approval and payment of our other supplier invoices and will then take on responsibility for that approvals process.

Managing our invoice schedule, ensuring that we are invoicing for our projects in a timely way
-
Liaising with our bookkeeper to maintain the finance inbox, responding to some queries and escalating others where necessary.

Informing clients when payments have been received and sending reminders for payment as payment terms are approaching.

Liaising with clients (particularly new clients) to ensure that we are set up as a supplier, purchase order numbers are raised to enable us to invoice and that the necessary processes are followed to enable us to be paid for our projects.

Working with the Director of Finance & Operations to identify, develop and implement improvements to our financial processes and systems.

Developing and sharing updates on finances as required, e.g. monthly cashflow updates for the Executive Directors
Operations

Ensuring clarity and accuracy on CMAP (our project platform - NB no prior knowledge of this is expected!) for our projects to ensure:

Accurate expense handling, to ensure they’re charged correctly to our clients

Associate budget allocations are correct and up-to-date

Contract budgets match the project budgets and our invoice schedule

Checks are carried out before projects are closed

You may also be asked to help with other support, checks or analysis to support our smooth project management and oversight

Acting as key points of liaison between the project teams and the bookkeeper wherever possible and escalating to the BD & Ops Manager and/or the Director of Finance & Ops where needed.

Working closely with the BD & Ops Manager to develop and improve our operational processes and systems

About Five Talents
Since we began, Five Talents has supported over 290,000 families globally to grow their incomes and provide for their families. We work in partnership with local organisations in east and central Africa to set up Savings Groups through which members can take small loans. Alongside Savings Group development, members also participate in literacy, numeracy, money management and business skills training. About this role
We are looking for someone who is passionate about international development to join our small Five Talents team to help us achieve our ambitious goals, and particularly to support our Trusts Fundraising team.

Job Description
The post-holder will support the work of all the UK Team (currently 9 staff), but will predominantly work within the Trusts & Foundations Team to identify and research funding prospects; draft grant applications and reports; and maintain our fundraising pipeline and key funder relationships. In addition to this, the post-holder will support CRM and donor-care administration as well as bringing their own initiative and ideas to raise the charity’s profile.
Role Responsibilities
Fundraising: Supporting the Trusts & Foundations cycle (80%)
Working with the Director of Trusts Fundraising you will:

Draft high quality, persuasive applications to grant-makers.
-
Draft high quality reports for grant-makers and other donors. This will include liaising with in-country Programme Teams and the Global Programme Team to ensure accurate data is used to inform existing and potential donors.

Identify and research new opportunities for funding partnerships with trusts and foundations and other potential new donors / partners.
-
Build long-term relationships with new and existing trusts and foundations representatives to ensure their objectives are met.
-
Write reports for funding, including supporting the major donor team as required.

Creating tailored thank you/grant acknowledgement letters for the T&F Team.

Maintaining accurate records of T&F’s and their donations on Salesforce.
Administrative support (20%)
Working with the senior leaders, you will assist with:

Managing the Salesforce CRM database, logging donations and running reports when required.

Working with the comms team to ensure donors are thanked promptly.

Ensuring the smooth running of the office, including for example supporting logistics for events and overseas trips, and other tasks and projects which from time to time need action, bearing in mind the flexibility needed in a small team in a growing organisation.

This is a full-time permanent role. Key Tasks
· Work with SFM colleagues and networks to coordinate and support campaign activity
· Attend meetings to support policy and campaign discussions and provide meeting services, including organising agendas, venues, and minutes

Bolton Adult Autism Support (BAAS) is an award winning grassroots charity supporting autistic adults and their carers. In recognition of our work, in June 2020, BAAS received the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, the MBE of voluntary organisations. Headed by a driven and diverse Board of Trustees, and to expand on our successful existing Social Activities and Life Skills Program, we are now looking to extend our staff team by employing two Outreach Coordinators.
Job Description
Overview
We are looking to recruit two driven and dedicated individuals who share a passion for enriching the lives of autistic adults, to facilitate our varied Social & Life Skills Project. The individuals recruited will work together to develop and deliver engaging sessions for the Service Beneficiaries of our charity. All Social & Life Skills Sessions will be delivered in group settings. Although working in partnership with each other, there will be some differentiation required between the roles, as follows:-
Role 1 - Will require someone who is confident in leading cooking skills sessions with autistic adults, and who is able to develop a wide ranging program of cookery skills to facilitate this. Assisting our Service Beneficiaries to gain confidence in the kitchen, as well as helping them to shop for food in a way that maximises their budgets.
Role 2 - Will require someone who is confident in leading a program of engaging arts and crafts sessions, assisting our Service Beneficiaries to build new skills and find new hobbies that they enjoy, and wherever possible, encouraging Service Beneficiaries to showcase their own particular interests and talents with the rest of the group.
Both post holders will also work together to facilitate regular group discussions with autistic adults, discussing various topical themes, thereby allowing Service Beneficiaries to share their experiences with others who may have similar life experiences.
Administration

Identify and establish partnership arrangements in various locations across the Bolton Borough, in order to hold social and life skills activities for the people who use our service.

BAAS is an award winning grassroots charity based in Bolton supporting autistic adults and their families.
This is a new and exciting role to support the Hepatitis C Follow Me Project and the Liver Surveillance Project, specifically for Eastern European communities across West London.
The Hepatitis C Trust develops projects nationally where peers use their lived experience of injecting drug use and hepatitis C, to provide education and training, increase hepatitis C awareness, and access to testing and treatment for people living with hepatitis C.

Working under the guidance of the Peer Programme Manager the post holder will ensure that Eastern European people with an identified diagnosis of hepatitis C & liver cirrhosis are offered a referral to specialist hepatitis treatment & liver surveillance services in West London area.
