Galop works directly with thousands of LGBT+ people who have experienced abuse and violence every year. About the Role
As the Financial Controller you will be part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and report into the Chief Executive Officer. You will lead a small team and manage the relationship with our existing outsourced finance team, payroll provider and auditors to deliver high quality professional finance services to the charity. You will be responsible for the financial systems and processes and ensuring the quality and timeliness of work delivered.
Galop has gone through a period of rapid growth and you will be continuing the work to align its financial practices to its new operating model. Personally, you will be resilient and driven to develop, implement and improve financial policies. You will be working with the Treasurer and SLT to improve financial management and controls. Your financial analysis and reporting skills will be exceptional and you’ll have the ability to manage people setting clear goals and priorities for your team whilst providing support and challenge where needed.
You will work closely with other teams to establish regular, clear, and consistent channels of communication at all levels within the organisation. You will build and maintain strong relationships with senior managers and their teams and will; improve the understanding of charity’s performance; influence decision-making; deliver analysis and insight on business opportunities and support options and scenarios planning including funding applications.

Outward Housing Department provides housing management aimed at sustaining vulnerable people in their tenancies and assisting people to move on from short term services. We work with a number of registered housing providers and in conjunction with our Group partner Newlon Housing Trust to provide housing management to their supported housing homes.
As a Tenancy Management Officer you will be expected to ensure that a comprehensive, sensitive and efficient housing management service is delivered to our tenants. You will have the ability to liaise with a range of internal and external partners, experience of providing a supported housing service to vulnerable tenants and a commitment to sustaining tenancies wherever possible.
You will also be able to effectively manage tenancy breaches including Anti-Social Behaviour, assess the suitability of new referrals, carry out property inspections and manage the voids process, monitor rent accounts and work with Income Management Team to ensure that rent arrears are kept to a minimum. The successful candidates will also have excellent organisational, administrative and IT skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
This role is available as a full time post of 38 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

International Finance Manager, an excellent opportunity to join an International Welfare Charity, based in the UK.

As the International Finance Manager, working in collaboration with the Director of Finance, you will manage the finance functions and oversee the financial management of the charity and its international subsidiary. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Administration
· Maintain all financial records and data accurately and within agreed systems outlined in the DSWF Financial Handbook’s processes and controls
· Maintain up to date records on the finance system (Sage 50)
· Monitor and record income from all sources and ensure accurate and timely recording, including fund allocations
· With the fundraising team, ensure accurate and timely recording of income into the Raiser’s Edge CRM

· During audit be the main contact for collating all documentation and samples requested by auditors

As part of our internally-focussed Strategic Funding Team you will work closely with colleagues across our federation to ensure we are presenting the highest priority and most strategic work to our donors. In this role, you will have the opportunity to improve team practices, support the design and roll out of templates and training, and embed grant management systems. You will also be responsible for encouraging standardisation across teams in AAUK, managing requests and communications to colleagues in Federation Member countries, and ensuring donor communications systems and processes are up to date. Other responsibilities include sharing best practices, writing compelling human interest stories, managing a personal portfolio of restricted grants, and delivering capacity building workshops. The Advice Service Manager is responsible for all advice team operations and developing the Kinship advice pathway.
You’ll manage a team to deliver a consistent, high quality and effective service. You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing systems and monitoring service quality and performance.

Reporting to the Director of Finance and IT, the Senior Finance Manager will support the Finance team through organisational change, will lead the oversee the month-end processes, quarterly forecasting, annual budget, cash-flow management and group consolidation. The Senior Finance Manager will be a key role in providing support and analysis to help decision-making.
What you'll be doing:
- Support budget holder's decision-making via insightful financial management, annual budget, and forecasting
- Lead on financial accounting and monthly management accounting processes
- Lead on month-end processes, including process improvements to income reconciliations
- Lead on quarterly reforecasting processes, ensuring templates and consolidation forecasts are submitted
- Lead on the preparation of VAT and Tax returns to HMRC and regulators
- Produce accurate cash flow forecasts
- Leading on system improvements to monthly accounting cycle and budgeting / forecasting
- Support the Director of Finance and IT with annual statutory audit processes for consolidated group, liaising with auditors

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to provide high quality management and control of the finance function at our multi-site Christian outdoor adventure charity. Reporting to the Finance Director, the post holder will work closely with members of the senior management team to facilitate the smooth operation of Rock UK’s finances. He or she will be able to clearly and respectively communicate our Christian ethos, objectives, mission and vision to staff, suppliers and other stakeholders of all faiths and none.
