The Role

In this leadership position, you will focus on improving the quality of life for autistic children and young people by integrating therapy and education through impactful MDT working . Administrative tasks are kept to a minimum, allowing you to direct your time to working with  focus on integrating therapy and education with the Heads and Senior Leaders in our educational settings, the class-based practitioners, the Therapy Team and the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) leads. 

Together, we will design and implement effective systems and processes that integrate evidence-based therapy and educational practices, ensuring the best outcomes for our pupils and learners.

This position is 21 hours per week (0.6 FTE), with the option to extend to a full-time role by taking on an additional two days of clinical caseload if you are an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Speech and Language Therapist (SLT). The role can also be based ay any of our sites but will include some travel.

The post holder will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on women and children. The post holder will understand children’s social care and care proceedings. As an experienced domestic abuse advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, the post holder will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. Experience of direct work with female survivors of domestic abuse, of supporting women involved with Children’s Social Services and Early Help, and of working within safeguarding procedures is essential for this post, as is the need to adopt and promote a strong partnership approach to service provision.

A car may be desirable for this role, though not essential

About You:

To be successful as the Early Help IDVA you will need the below experience and skills:

A thorough understanding of the dynamics of domestic violence (physical, emotional and sexual violence, so-called ‘honour-based violence’, forced marriage, stalking and harassment) and its impact on women, children, families and communities.

Experience of working with social care agencies or in a social care setting.

Experience of partnership working and of maintaining excellent working relationships with a

range of stakeholders.

Excellent risk assessment, support and advocacy skills and the ability to advocate successfully using evidence and professional experience.

Ability to network, influence, problem solve and apply solution focused approaches to increase access and safety and facilitate positive outcomes for women and children

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an Apprenticeships Service Administrator to support the apprenticeship provision within Harris Federation Central Head Office.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the apprenticeship team and support by managing administration and providing essential support to apprentices across the Harris Federation. Key responsibilities include the organisation of Apprenticeship events, maintaining individual learner records (ILR), data analysis, and managing the virtual learning platform and MIS. Additionally, there will be a requirement to assist line managers and staff members with Apprenticeship queries.

A primary focus is on onboarding learners and maintaining accurate enrolment records, contributing to the effective delivery and evaluation of apprenticeship programs across the Federation.

Qualifications & Experience

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Reporting to the Apprenticeship Manager you will be responsible for:

General Administration and Apprentice Support

• Supporting Harris Federation as a main provider, ensuring all apprentice data is accurate and up to date
• Preparing and updating PowerPoint presentations to promote apprenticeships
• Organising and promoting apprenticeship events and information sessions
• Supporting the promotional/marketing strategy to drive apprenticeship applications and delivery
• Organising and managing information days for prospective learners / students and supporting the recruitment to various apprenticeship programmes
• Maintaining responsibility for monitoring and updating records on the DAS (Digital Apprenticeship Service) system and other data system trackers
• Maintaining apprenticeship records, including the apprenticeship tracking system, producing reports to monitor enrolment, completion rates, and levy usage
• Helping to maintain the EOSONE learning platform to ensure accurate data and the declaration of our monthly ILRs (individual learner records)
• Supporting the implementation, procurement, quality assurance and evaluation of the apprenticeship offer to support business objectives
• Data analysis and preparing regular reports on performance of various programmes

Management Information System (MIS)

• Managing and actively updating EOSONE learning platform to ensure all the learner portfolios are up to date including off the job
• Supporting with the on-boarding of learners on the Harris Federation main provider provision and the completion of relevant enrolment documentation, procedures, and guidance

• Strong project management skills with experience of complex projects with multiple stakeholders

About the role:

This role is based at the Victim Support office in Gloucester (Eastgate House) with travel expected throughout Gloucestershire. We are looking for someone who is YPVA qualified or willing to work towards this qualification.

As the STREET DA CYP Team Leader you will:

• Ensure the delivery of excellent services to victims of crime and retain and develop contracts for services by supporting and managing operational staff

About the Youth Endowment Fund 

We’re here to prevent children from becoming involved in violence. We do this by finding out what works and building a movement to change things.  

In recent years, violent crime involving children has increased. This is a tragedy. Every child is an important member of our community and society has a duty to protect them.

The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) is a charity with a £200m endowment that exists to reverse this trend. We will achieve this by finding out what works to prevent youth violence and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice. We do this by funding, evaluating and then spreading the very best work on reducing youth violence across England and Wales. 

Key Responsibilities 

Your focus will be to ensure that the office environment at YEF is a welcoming and inclusive one, being the first point of contact for new starters, employees and external stakeholders. You will be dedicated, in ensuring that the office environment is set up for employees to have a positive, collaborative and engaging experience while working from the office. Office Management 

Ensure the physical and virtual spaces in which we work at YEF are excellently managed and a welcoming place to work. This would include: 

• Being a strong and personable office lead. Be welcoming to colleagues new and old and make an ongoing effort to integrate them into the team. 

• Ensuring that the office space is well managed including well stocked office supplies and refreshments. 

• Leading monthly social team activities that foster a sense of belonging. 

• Ensuring we have the systems to make collaboration really easy, liaising directly with our IT supplier and pointing out areas of improvement or discussing how things can be done better. 

HR administration 

Help ensure that projects related to HR or supporting people are done brilliantly. This may require you getting stuck in with some administrative tasks or keeping track of who needs to do what by when. 

• Helping to organise the annual appraisal of staff (setting up and collecting in forms and making sure everyone knows what’s going on) so that everyone learns and develops.

• Supporting the administration of the end-to-end recruitment process, such advertising jobs online, arranging interviews, managing candidate correspondences and the keeping up to date records.

General administration 

Make sure some of most important meetings are incredibly effective. You’ll do this by 

• Organising those meetings (booking rooms, inviting people), taking great minutes, making sure we keep track of things we said we would do and saving the documents in the right place.

• Supporting people, you work most closely with (the wider operations team) on some of the more important processes, including audits and document maintenance.
