Purchasing Contract Officer

WWF-UK is a large environmental Non-Governmental Organization with an annual spend on third party suppliers of more than £35m. The Purchasing Contract Officer role is a member of the Procurement and Environmental Management Unit.
The unit is responsible for ensuring the best value for money spend and reduce the risks with our suppliers, leading the procurement process for larger and strategic contracts.
Part of the finance transformation programme, a new Sourcing to Pay system is in implementation phase, and the purchasing contract officer will create, build, and administrate the supplier and contract data base essential to the go live of the Source-to-Pay system.
WWF-UK is seeking two dedicated and experienced Purchasing contract officers to join our Procurement Department.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Procurement this role will work closely with procurement managers and buyers, contract managers across the organisation and suppliers. The role will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful implementation of the new procurement system (StoP). The role will be responsible for reviewing, collating, and loading contractual documentation and data into the new Source-to-Pay system and for entering supplier data into the new system.
Key Responsibilities
· Collate supplier contracts from across the organisation and prepare for uploading into the new system paying particular attention to version control and accurate record keeping.
· Review the contracts and accurately transfer the commercial terms contained in the contract into the new system.
· Create an accurate contract data base (items catalogues) which allows P/O creation after going live.
· Create an accurate supplier database in the new system.
About You
You have proven experience in in purchasing transactions, ledger or administration of purchasing, ideally familiar using Purchase to Pay (P2P) system and good understanding of what constitutes contractual in relation to transactions with suppliers.
You drive for compliance and accuracy of data with the ability and pay attention to detail.
You are able to work well with others as well able as on your own.
Location & Flexibility
This role has a UK based contract and as such, you must have the right to live and work in the UK.
WWF-UK operates a hybrid working arrangement with a minimum of 20% of contracted hours collaborating in-person with colleagues each month, with the balance being worked from home. You’ll be required to work 20%of contracted hours at your contracted office which will be: The Living Planet Centre, Woking, Surrey, GU21 4LL and will need to be able to commute to this location.

As a PR Media Manager for the world’s leading independent conservation organisation, we want you to join the media team supporting our fundraising, brand and advocacy by increasing our visibility through media, compelling storytelling, and celebrity partnerships.
As Media Manager you will focus on proactively generating positive and agenda-setting media coverage of our work and campaigns in consumer media from breakfast TV sofas to lifestyle media, online news outlets and specialist press. We want you to help make our message the loudest, most respected and reliable in the UK media, and to grasp the public and decision makers’ attention so they step up to help bring our world back to life. This will involve developing close relationships with journalists and confidently pitch stories and ideas to media outlets. You will collaborate with colleagues to secure coverage within a variety of media types including consumer lifestyle, national, broadcast and regional too. It will be important to to stay in touch with developments in the media landscape and identify new opportunities for us to exploit. You will also support the monitoring and evaluation of media activities as well as work on a rota basis to respond to media requests and breaking news out of hours.
For this high-profile role, you must have worked in a fast-moving press office or PR agency and can demonstrate a track record of delivering high quality media coverage. An excellent communicator, you will have a natural ability to spot and utilise proactive media opportunities and must possess good multitasking and relationship building skills. You will also be used to delivering high profile UK PR campaigns, events and brand/celebrity partnerships. Critically, you will possess an excellent understanding of, and contacts within, the UK media landscape, particularly national features, consumer and lifestyle media and broadcast magazine shows as well as social media. WWF Cymru is currently pursuing a multi-year work programme to address the ‘Triple Challenge’ in Wales: how we tackle climate change, reverse the loss of nature, and transition to a sustainable food system. The years ahead are critical for engaging politics and the public in Wales on this triple challenge, and as Communications Manager you will focus on delivering project based national and local communications as part of a small team based in Cymru. You’ll play a key role in raising the profile of both the Regenerative Ocean Farming and Pembrokeshire Wholescapes programmes, locally and nationally.
As Communications Manager you will develop and deliver bilingual (Welsh/English) multi-channel communications plans. This will involve building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and collaborating with colleagues to plan, create and commission content and assets as well as preparing public narratives, press releases, media briefings, case studies and more. You will therefore be able to ensure data and information is presented in a public friendly and accessible way. You will develop relationships with key stakeholders and supporters in Wales and work to implement campaigns that will engage and inspire them to take action. You will also provide advice and guidance internally on the Welsh context, culture and language and in relation to your programmes.
For this high-profile role, you must have experience in multi-channel communications and sound knowledge of the media landscape in Wales. Importantly, you will have experience of working in a bilingual environment in Wales and be able to converse in the Welsh language.
Effective at developing and delivering on communications plans aimed at a variety of groups, you will be comfortable speaking to journalists and using digital and social media tools to engage, mobilise and influence key audiences. WWF-UK is seeking a dedicated and experienced CRM Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Supporter Income & Engagement Department.
About the Role
As a CRM Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our new customer relationship management (CRM) system and documentation during the Implementation and Business Change stages. You will work closely with the Business Analyst and CRM Business Change Manager, evaluating processes, creating documentation, helping to write test scripts, report and monitor bug fixes while supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and helping to implement best practices to enhance the overall effectiveness of our CRM platform.
Key Responsibilities
· Aid in the creation of functional, technical or test documentation.
· Address user inquiries, troubleshoot issues during UAT, and offer solutions to enhance user proficiency.
· Create and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate system behaviour.
· Collaborate with our delivery partner to address defects and ensure timely resolution.
· Create and maintain the accuracy of information on the CRM SharePoint hub.
· Aid the Business Change manager in documenting and measuring the benefits that are linked to each of the delivered requirements, collating measures and KPI results and documenting these to aid in communication of the benefits being realised.
· Aid the Business Change Manager by creating training materials.
About You
· You have proven experience in Quality assurance, testing, or business change.
· Familiarity with CRM platforms, especially Microsoft Dynamics, will be an advantage. You have excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and experience of working on a large-scale project with external suppliers.
· You have experience of using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira to manage system requirements, testing or deployment
· You have an eye for detail and have experience in writing end-user documentation
