The role of Head of Programmes is an exciting and dynamic leadership position within a rapidly expanding international human rights organisation. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Programmes will be an integral part of the leadership team, alongside the Heads of Fundraising, Communications, and Operations. In this capacity, the Head of Programmes will oversee a team of experienced leaders in the field of human rights and grassroots activism, responsible for various areas such as Research, Investigations, Policy and Innovation, Advocacy and Campaigns.

About the role

As a Wellbeing Assessor, you will use your skills and experience to work directly with people with mental health issues in one-to-one settings, including telephone, face-to-face and online engagement. You will work with clients to help them identify their needs and goals and offer some skills and techniques to self-manage their mental health and link them to the right mental health support for them. You will work collaboratively with other partners in the Primary Care Mental Health Service and Solent Mind Wellbeing Service.

This is a part-time role for 18.5 hours per week (over three weekdays: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday – must include Monday afternoons) working across the New Forest PCN (Lymington/Milford-on-Sea/Lyndhurst/Brockenhurst).

About you 

Educated to a minimum of level 2 standard or extensive relevant experience, you will be experienced in working with vulnerable people with diverse needs in a mental health setting. You’ll also be able to work on your own initiative and within a team and have good written and verbal communication skills.

This role is an exciting opportunity to positively impact the lives of refugees and asylum seekers in Sheffield.  It is a post which we are looking to fill with an organised, empathetic and proactive individual.  In the post you will have the opportunity to develop and manage the City of Sanctuary Sheffield volunteer team.  You will be a vital part of the running of City of Sanctuary Sheffield - ensuring that the volunteer team is inclusive, cohesive and well trained and that it supports all the incredible work that City of Sanctuary Sheffield do. Crucially, you will ensure that people seeking sanctuary remain at the heart of the volunteer team – guiding our work, contributing to the team, and growing in themselves. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Recruitment and Induction 

• Volunteer recruitment – Conduct advertising and recruitment to ensure that there are enough people applying to volunteer at CoSS; ensuring people seeking sanctuary are aware of the opportunities available and able to access them. 

• Inductions – Lead and further develop inductions for new volunteers ensuring that these sessions are well attended and are accessible to volunteers from all backgrounds. 

• Initial support - Support new volunteers to start volunteering at CoSS and facilitate an initial probation period during which more support is available to each volunteer. 

• Administration - Work with the CoSS Administrator to conduct required administration associated with inducting new volunteers and running the volunteer team. 

 Volunteer Training and Progression  

• Volunteer Training – Deliver a wide range of training for the volunteer team that covers key essential areas alongside other training needs that may arise. 

• Training for people seeking sanctuary – Provide additional support to people seeking sanctuary to access a wide range of training and development opportunities. 

• Volunteer Reviews - Conduct regular volunteer reviews and meetings to gather feedback and to celebrate the work of the team.

Volunteer Socials and Personal Support  

• Volunteer Wellbeing - Support the wellbeing of volunteers and provide spaces for them to share and work through the challenges faced. 

• Volunteer Socials - Organise volunteer socials throughout the year. 

• Code of Conduct - Ensure all volunteers adhere to the CoSS code of conduct and manage issues that arise using CoSS's established policies and procedures. 

The Sanctuary 

• Work alongside the rest of the CoSS team, to ensure the smooth-running of The Sanctuary, our unique welcome centre for people seeking sanctuary. 

Additional duties and Line Management 

• The context of our work is constantly changing.  Additional duties that reflect the changing needs of the organisation may be required including possible line management of other staff members.

Growing Hope is a charity providing free therapy for children and young people with additional needs in partnership with local churches across the UK. We aim to grow hope for children, hope for families and hope in Jesus.

Growing Hope was founded in December 2017 and has a vision to see 20 clinics set up across the UK by 2030. We have three clinics, King’s Cross, Brockley and High Wycombe, and we are currently setting up a fourth clinic in Gateshead and a fifth in Redbridge. Each clinic is a local CIO which runs in partnership with Growing Hope and the local church. We have worked with over 700 children, young people, parents, carers and siblings since we launched. As a national charity Growing Hope has trained over 500 professionals & parents. We are continuing to expand, with the set-up of further local clinics on the horizon.

This role will report to the CEO of the charity and will work closely as part of the Senior Leadership team. The Director of Growth will have oversight of Fundraising, Communications, Marketing and Clinic Growth within the charity. Main Duties and Responsibilities 
Duties and responsibilities will be discussed and developed as the charity continues to grow, but will include: 

Leadership and Management:

• Working as part of the Senior Leadership team to strategically support the running of the charity.
• Providing line management for the Fundraising Manager, Executive Assistant and other potential members of the team as the charity grows.

• Lead the development and execution of long-term financial plans in close alignment with the charity’s strategic goals from a Fundraising perspective.
• Reporting monthly to the Growing Hope senior team and trustee board on income, forecasts and plans to hit income targets. 
• Manging the fundraising, marketing and communications budget lines.
• Oversee the process of forecasting and planning income for analysis of the leadership team and Board of Trustees.

XLP is a youth work charity working to create positive futures for young people and at the cutting edge of tackling poverty and educational failure in inner London. We’re looking for a Senior HR Manager who will be a generalist with prior experience of working in a senior level HR capacity.

You’ll be responsible for the effective provision of comprehensive HR services for XLP, develop highly effective relationships across the team, maintaining a real understanding of their challenges. You’ll partner with Line Managers on a range of HR duties encompassing the entire employee life cycle, including updating and reviewing policies and processes, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding/ offboarding, Learning & Development and more. You’ll ensure we recruit and retain excellent staff to ensure we’re giving our best for young people.

You’ll be happy to manage all aspects of HR and the employee lifecycle and not be afraid to work autonomously and get stuck in. 

About You

Key Skills:

• Significant relevant experience in Human Resources in a generalist role;
• Proven experience in managing complex employee relations cases;
• Experience with employee lifecycle procedures;
• CIPD Level 5 Qualification;
• Strong knowledge of current employment law and best practice;
• High attention to detail;
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills;
• Good level of numeracy and ability to collate data and produce information in simple formats;
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills;
• Ability to build and maintain good working relationships with staff at all levels;
• Ability to remain calm in challenging situations;

• Project manage the educational and scientific programme of all  events

In order to be successful, you must have experienced :

• Event experience gained working in a membership organisation, preferably in healthcare

• Demonstrable skills in physical and virtual event/meeting delivery
• Experience of using Zoom for virtual events and onboarding virtual speakers
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience of using CRM to manage events

• Be an experienced user of the MS Office Suite, financial databases and systems.  Previous experience using Salesforce, SAGE, and NAVision is desirable.
• Be fluent in written and spoken English (essential).  Additional languages such as Arabic and Urdu are desirable.

The new Director of Finance will manage the day-to-day operations of the Finance department, while helping to drive business success, providing the financial insights that lead to better commercial decisions for both the UK, and their global offices.  A key aspect of the role will be to establish strategies to increase income with a view to the stability of HA’s finances, along with its long-term financial health and growth.

Reporting to the Manager OSG, the Administration Officer performs an important supporting role combining various logistics and operational support functions that ensure the CTO’s internal operations are efficient. The Administration Officer will also work closely with the IT Administrator to build a CTO internal administration database that includes relevant data.

We are looking for an experienced administrator with meticulous attention to detail, impeccable oral and written communication skills, and excellent organisation skills. To be successful, you will have experience in database management, minute taking and, travel and hotel booking. The post holder needs to have strong IT and database skills, as well as experience in mail merge. An exposure to event management is an asset.
