As an advocate for parents, we are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager that is motivated by community engagement and storytelling, to help us bring to life our brand, mission and impact.

You’ll be working across our audience spectrum including; our 12,500+ parent teacher association (PTA) membership base, those in a parenting role, and school leaders. You’ll work across a range of projects from building out our always on digital strategies, cross-channel community building and helping us reach for the stars on major campaigns and projects.

Main purpose and scope of role

To support and work in collaboration with the Head of Marketing to:

• Develop our digital marketing strategies and annual plans for all audiences across website, email and social
• Manage and develop our communities across email and social channels including content creation and community building/management
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver engaging digital campaigns
• Manage and develop a Marketing & Communications Executive

Duties and key responsibilities

Strategy development and implementation:

• Develop and implement digital marketing strategies for website, email and social, that align with the charity’s goals
• Ensure effective online presence, drive website traffic, and grow our audience with PTA membership acquisition and email data
• Utilise a range of techniques including paid search, SEO, and PPC
• Conduct market research and analyse trends to identify new opportunities
• Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts

Social media management:

• Manage and develop our social communities including Facebook pages and groups, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and YouTube
• Launch and manage new channels, where relevant, such as TikTok, Threads etc. 
• Deliver an audience-led approach ensuring that community, connection and engagement is at the heart of our social activity
• Oversee the creation and distribution of relevant, original and high-quality content
• Conduct high-performing organic and paid for campaigns for both always-on and campaign activities
• Identify and manage appropriate content creators for key campaigns and activities

Email marketing:

• Create and manage email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, soluses, and transactional emails.
• Design and implement email marketing campaigns that are compelling and on-brand.
• Analyse email marketing metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and optimise campaigns based on performance
• Ensure email marketing strategies comply with current email marketing best practices and regulations

Collaboration: 

• Collaborate with our content marketing team to develop relevant, quality digital content across a range of formats for our audiences
• Work with our Content Marketing Manager to promote key content as well as helping to inform their cross-channel content strategy
• Support the PTA Membership team with suitable digital acquisition campaigns that will contribute to their new member acquisition goals
• Work with the wider Marketing and Fundraising teams to deliver fundraising campaigns with corporate partners
• Work with others across the organisation as well as independently to understand our key audiences so that the work delivered is audience-focussed

Analytics and reporting:

• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for always on and campaign activities and monitor these regularly
• Compile monthly and specific campaign reports to showcase marketing performance
• Analyse reports and key metrics and optimise strategies and activities as needed 

Project management: 

• Lead on the delivery of digital campaigns
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively

 Continuous learning:

• Monitor effectiveness of our digital activity to ensure that we optimise our plans and activity in the future
• Stay informed of the latest trends, technologies and best practises so that Parentkind’s work is forward-thinking and impactful

General Responsibilities

You’ll have

• 6+ years experience in digital marketing
• Demonstrable experience in planning, delivering, and optimising multi-channel organic and paid-for digital activity
• Social media management and community building experience

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail

Hours

Floating Support Workers in the Westminster Service will be part of a large, dynamic team providing an effective and empowering service to vulnerable clients across a variety of tenures.

You will be responsible for delivering person-centred, psychologically informed support to a range of individuals, with varying needs, to enable them to sustain their tenancy, enhance their wellbeing, build resilience, and achieve their goals and aspirations. The Westminster Floating Support Service is funded by the Westminster Council to provide flexible housing related support in order to enable Clients to continue to live independently within their own home, regardless of tenure type. The service is delivered in a manner that is respectful of service user’s racial, cultural and/or religious backgrounds and respects individual dignity. The support provision operates as part of an overall network of support and care for clients working closely with other professionals involved in the support and care of the individual.

All staff are provided with continuous learning opportunities and SHP provide a comprehensive inhouse training programme.

About you:

• Understanding of how to support clients to carry out tasks such as budgeting, calculating benefit entitlements and understanding rent arrears and housing options.
• Experience of working in a client-centred support service working with vulnerable people presenting significant levels of need and risk, with an ability to devise and deliver on action plans through high quality risk management and needs assessment.
• A demonstrable level of experience and/or understanding of the range of approaches appropriate to working with issues such as substance use, mental and physical ill health, dual diagnosis, challenging behaviour, risk of homelessness, offending, antisocial behaviour, social isolation, domestic violence, gang-related issues, young parents, leaving care and learning disabilities.
• Able to evidence experience of delivering on the principles underlying a quality service, which is client-focused and with a proven ability to empower clients.
• The ability to be self-motivating and manage time effectively, prioritising different areas of work according to need to ensure deadlines are met while maintaining work of a high standard.
• The ability to use a computer to input data accurately, to communicate effectively through emails and to produce good quality minutes of meetings, client notes, letters and reports.

METRO is looking to recruit for the vacancy of Parenting Support Practitioner. This fulfilling and exciting role is dedicated to helping empower, equip and support parents of teenagers in the London borough of Greenwich. The role will support parents one-to-one through mentoring and coaching to improve their skills and confidence in managing relationships with their teenage children.

Programme

The METRO Parenting Support Programme is part of the Young Greenwich Partnership, delivering a new integrated programme commissioned by the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The essential purpose of the Young Greenwich programme is to enable young people to develop holistically, working with them to facilitate their personal, social and educational aspirations to develop their voice and reach their full potential. The programme is led by NHS Oxleas Foundation Trust (Oxleas) and delivered with Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) partners, who, together with METRO, form the Young Greenwich Partnership.

The METRO Parenting Support Programme delivers coaching, group work, mentoring and counselling designed to help parents of teenagers achieve their health and wellbeing goals. This, in

turn, will allow us to achieve goals for parents and children and young people as part of the wider Young Greenwich programme.

Role

The role will include working with parents one-to-one and in groups to identify goals around improving confidence and wellbeing and using mentoring and coaching tools and techniques to help support parenting skills development. Topics will include understanding the developmental needs of teenage children, managing challenging behaviour, and looking after your health and wellbeing.

The Specialist Housing Advocate will work within a dynamic, fast paced team to provide intervention, advocacy and support that empowers women and ensures that the voice of survivors informs every stage of their journey towards improved safety. This is a new and exciting service, and we are looking for someone passionate about ensuring that all survivors of domestic abuse are able to access safe and appropriate accommodation which meets their needs.

To be successful as Specialist Housing Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:

You will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on survivors and their children, and of best practice within the domestic abuse and housing sectors. You will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. The post holder will hold a caseload of survivors and will also be required to support Advance’s duty team on a rota basis which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support.

Terms and Conditions

• Location: This role can be based at the MAF UK Offices in Folkstone, Kent or optionally could be in the Oxford, Cambridge arc as we seek to launch a new hub in the Milton Keynes area, maximising our engagement with a thriving local aerospace and charity sector region.  Up to two days a week in our Folkstone Office might be initially required.We welcome hybrid working in line with our flexible working policy, the needs of the business, the requirements of the role and your location. This will be discussed at interview.
• Working Hours: This is a full time role (at least 36 hours per week, with 1 hour for lunch daily unpaid) but requiring some flexibility on the successful candidate to work additional hours occasionally some of which could be outside the normal business hours.   Hours should be agreed with line manager.
• Travel: Flexibility will be required for working additional hours and travel to meet business needs (inlcuding overseas travel) or for travel/meetings on weekends or evenings.

Do you have a desire to end loneliness and improve the wellbeing of older people? Are you familiar with the Greenwich borough and the struggles of its older residents?

We have an opportunity to work on a new project as our Befriending Development Coordinator.

You will work closely with Greenwich residents aged 50 years + and other relevant stakeholders to enable a programme of services, events and activities which seek to improve their health and wellbeing. It will target those who are lonely, isolated, and living in disadvantaged parts of the borough.

This post is based in our offices at Sherard Road in Eltham but will involve work across the borough of Greenwich so the ability to travel easily is important.
