We are looking for an experienced and passionate Housing Service Manager to manage and lead our dedicated team at Willow Lodge, Folkestone.
1 x Part-time opportunity available - 21 hours per week, flexible hours between 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.

This is an exciting opportunity to manage our Willow Lodge Service. Willow Lodge is a welcoming nine-bed supported living accommodation located in Folkestone. Our facility includes seven bedsits and two self-contained flats, providing a comfortable and supportive environment for residents. Our dedicated, friendly, and experienced staff are committed to fostering a supportive and positive environment, ensuring tenants feel at home while they work towards their personal goals.
How you will make a difference:
- Ensure effective two way communications are in place and teams are kept fully informed of national and local developments.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with professionals, referrers and stakeholders.
- Ensure effective liaison between service teams, service users and other professionals.
- Work with the team to deliver what is important to commissioners and the people they support to achieve recovery goals and service outcomes.
- Identify and enable meaningful opportunities for user involvement in shaping services.
- Manage the recruitment of staff as the selection panel leader, ensuring compliance with Recruitment & Selection policy and Equality legislation.
- Ensure that services are accessible and meet the needs of service users from a diverse range of backgrounds and are representative of the needs of local communities.
- Be the positive role model and coach, as lead practitioner providing expertise and guidance on practice issues to the team.
- You will be responsible for ensuring the assessment, recording and reviewing of our Outcome Focussed Support Planning and Risk Management Planning is embedded into practice.
Essential skills and experience required:
- Experience of managing and leading a team within a social care/care setting.
- Experience of providing support to people with a mental illness; or experience of providing care and/or support services within another social care setting in either a paid or voluntary capacity.
- Knowledge and understanding of recovery principles and embedding the ethos of recovery into your own practice.
- The ability to make a comprehensive assessment of an individual’s situation and needs; to develop, implement and review risk management plans and devise support plans to meet these needs.
- QCF Diploma or NVQ level 3 in Care or Certificate in Community Mental Healthcare (or working towards) or an equivalent qualification.

The Fundraising & Marketing Manager will take the lead in developing and implementing our fundraising and marketing strategies, splitting your time about 60/40 between the two functions. We're seeking skilled and dedicated people who are passionate about ending homelessness to join our Tenancy Sustainment Team as Caseworkers. Delivering strengths-based and person-centred support with clients who live in their own homes. Your mission is to help people to better manage their tenancy, increase their independence, and participate in an equal footing in their communities. We have current opportunities to support people within different parts of our service.
TST have both permanent and fixed term opportunities for new Caseworkers in different areas of our service delivery, including welcoming and resettling people into the service at the start of their support ; providing ongoing tenancy related support to people during their tenancy ; and supporting people to move on to longer term and, where appropriate, more independent accommodation.
About the role:
Tenancy Sustainment Team (TST) North deliver support to over 1200 people who live in social and private rented housing units across North, West and East London. This service is for people:
- Aged 18 years old or above
- Who have lived experience of homelessness
- Who need support to manage and sustain their own housing / tenancy to avoid a return to homelessness
As a TST North Caseworker, you'll play a key role supporting people in the community. People we work with are offered 1-1 support from their named Caseworker, who initially identify and assess the needs of new clients, and who deliver support to people to:
- Move into, and sustain, their tenancies - providing support and advice on housing difficulties, e.g. rent arrears, disrepair or neighbour disputes, and urgent support for people facing eviction
- Promote their health and well-being - Facilitating access to, and advocacy at, health services and appointments
- Be financially resilient - Providing benefits advice, supporting people to maximise their income and to reduce debt and arrears
- Be more independent - We support people to move to permanent, and more independent, housing after 2 years or at the appropriate time
Working together with clients and partner services, you’ll agree initial support and safety plans with clients, identifying SHP and community services and resources that can help clients to meet their goals and aspirations, and connecting clients to these services. You'll also contribute as part of a team towards continual service development, improvement and innovation, to benefit TST clients.
Caseworker posts are for Mondays - Fridays, 9am to 5pm. Posts involve hybrid work with opportunities to work from home at times. The role includes hybrid working and is based at our office in Kings Cross. There are opportunities to work from home at times.
About you:
- Ability to effectively work with a range of service providers and agencies to establish or improve services for clients.

Purpose of the job/About the role
As Reward and Benefits Manager, you will be the subject matter expert on all aspects of employee reward, ensuring Dementia UK has effective, fair and transparent pay practices, and a benefits package that sets us apart.
Working closely with the People and Finance teams, you will lead the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant monthly processing. You will manage all employee benefits for the charity, liaising with suppliers, negotiating favourable terms, and proposing updates and improvements. Additionally, you’ll provide training and support to the People team to enhance their knowledge of reward practices, and will ensure our pay and benefits offering is effectively communicated across the charity.
As our pensions expert, you will ensure compliance with relevant regulations across the Dementia UK Aviva and NHS pension schemes, including auto-enrolment. You will act as the main point of contact between the charity and our pension and payroll providers, fostering strong, productive relationships. You will also lead the annual pay review process, conducting market research, analysing relevant data, and recommending an organisational approach. With expertise in job evaluation, you will perform evaluations and advise on role design to ensure a consistent approach is applied.
To succeed in this role, you will bring experience in managing payroll and pensions administration, along with a strong understanding of best practices in staff reward and benefits. Job Overview
The PA & Assistant Company Secretary will help to ensure that Ben operates within its charity regulatory framework and adheres to best practice in charity governance. This role will be a central administrative and secretarial point of contact for the CEO primarily, liaising and providing support to Ben’s Board of Trustees, maintaining governance documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation supporting the overall governance framework and administration requirements and statutory obligations of the charity.
Key Responsibilities
PA to the CEO
- Diary Management: Proactively manage the CEO’s calendar, schedule meetings, and prioritise appointments.

The Child Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) Programme is part of this nationally funded programme and aims to train a workforce of new practitioners that offer help for common difficulties in children and young people, in particular CBT-informed evidence-based guided self-help for low to moderate intensity anxiety, low mood and behaviour problems, within a variety of community settings.
The course consists of approximately 64 teaching days spread over the year. The programme is delivered through a mix of online and in-person teaching, where campus-based learning will usually take place at the Anna Freud (London).
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic candidates with experience in child and adolescent mental health, alongside experience of providing clinical supervision or facilitating reflective spaces to support clinical skill developments. In collaboration with University College London (UCL) as the degree awarding body, the Centre is recruiting to support the delivery of the course. The Practice Tutors will be expected to facilitate the delivery of practice tutor groups to enable trainee CWP’s to develop clinical skills in working with children, young people and families. They will also contribute to teaching sessions, and undertake marking, personal tutoring and make other similar contributions to support the delivery of the programme. OVERALL AIM
Working in collaboration with the Hillside Clubhouse Recovery project, the Employment Advisor team utilises the structured activity programme to help residents build confidence and transferable skills in a supportive setting. EAs work one-to-one with a caseload of around 40-50 people referred through various routeways including self-referrals, providing information, advice and guidance to empower clients to make better decisions about their career options and working lives, as well as signpost clients to other relevant support agencies, as appropriate.
This role would suit someone with a background in employment support, psychology, counselling, human resources, recruitment, or a desire to transfer their skills into the mental health support sector.

ABOUT THE JOB
Job Purpose
We are looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our tight knit team and make a real impact. A key member of the finance team, working closely with and supporting the Finance Manager, in a welcoming and supportive environment with opportunities to learn and grow on the job.
The role offers the chance to work across several finance functions, including management accounting, supporting year end audit, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and so it provides a great opportunity to experience the full breadth of finance work in a charity across all functions in a varied and interesting role.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day finance processes
- Assume responsibility for managing the finance inbox; answering queries from colleagues; students, commercial customers, and suppliers.
- Ensure supporting information for transactions is correctly stored in electronic format on Teams such as bank statements, remittance advices, credit statements.
- Assist the operations and administration teams as and when required, including with the preparation of internal reports.
- Other ad hoc support to the finance team as may be required including administrative duties.
Accounts Receivable
- Ensure that all income from a variety of different sources is correctly and accurately recorded in the finance system on a weekly basis.
- Income and customer account reconciliations and revaluations.
- Any other responsibilities relating to Accounts Receivable.
Accounts Payable process
- Work with the bookkeeper to ensure accurate and timely recording of all approved supplier invoices, requisitions, staff expenses and other expenditure in the accounting system and that all supporting documentation for all transactions are uploaded.
- Whilst the bookkeeper is responsible for making all payments, the Assistant Finance Manager has a key role in liaising with the bookkeeper and the Finance Manager, to jointly ensure that all invoices are paid on time.
- Providing cover and setting up payments when the Finance Manager is not available.
- Determine most efficient payment platform to process international payments and ensure these are recorded in the finance system at the correct conversion rate.
- Work closely with the bookkeeper to ensure accurate and timely recording of all approved supplier invoices, requisitions, staff expenses and other expenditure and that all supporting documentation for all transactions are uploaded.
- Carry out monthly Creditor account reconciliations ensuring that all balances are valid and backed up with appropriate supporting documentation.
- Assist with the set up all payroll payments in time for the monthly pay day. This involves ensuring correct amount (which may differ from the salary of the individual’s employment contract) and method of payment across all HQ staff.
Budgeting, management accounting and forecasting
- Assist the Finance Manager and CEO with the preparation of the annual budget, quarterly management accounts and forecast.
Year End Audit
- Assist the Finance Manager with answering queries form auditors and completing balance sheet reconciliations.
Systems and Processes
At the Gestalt Centre we’re in the process of updating and embedding new systems and processes and this role will assist that work. For example, we have recently implemented new educational management and room booking systems and this role will be involved in supporting the integration of the finance and education management software.
