You will also assist with our events programme, legacy administration and fundraising communications, including some graphic design.

The Contributor Officer will be our Volunteer Lead and will work alongside the Head of HR on the engagement, management and retention of volunteers across the organisation. What you’ll do:

- Work with the Marketing and Digital team to build and maintain a dedicated Contributor section of the website, designed to engage our key audiences and provide easy access to engaging information and content.
- Monitor application rates for key Contributor positions, developing our approach to ensure that the opportunities reach a wide range of members.
- Actively lead the RCR’s approach to engaging with Contributors.
- Conduct regular business partnering meetings with RCR staff who have management responsibility for key Contributors, advising on how to manage, support and engage the group.
- Actively input into the development of the RCR’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and other relevant systems to ensure there is a single point of truth for all Contributor related data and that important information is recorded in an easy to access way.

The role
As a Senior Development Officer, you’ll be an integral part of the team and will secure funding from a range of external funding sources including Charitable Trusts/Foundations and major donors. • Degree or relevant fundraising qualifications and considerable experience of working in a fundraising/development office.
• Track record in raising five and six figure levels of philanthropic funding from Trusts and Foundations, major donors, statutory sources, and other external funders.
• Experience of securing funding for capital appeals and projects.
• Experience of preparing successful and compelling fundraising applications, proposals, and donor reports.
• Experience of managing relationships with funders and of developing effective stewardship and cultivation programmes.

Just Treatment is a growing patient-led campaign fighting to ensure everyone gets the healthcare they need by demanding that the government acts to put patients before corporate profits. Our approach is centred on deep organising with a cohort of patient leaders who have been directly impacted by the health injustices on which we campaign. This group steer and lead our campaigns, but are supported by a much larger group of volunteers and supporters. This role will be focused on our campaign strand around the crisis in young people’s mental health, focused on the role that late-stage capitalism is having on both the drivers of poor mental health, mental illness, and madness, and the ineffective responses to this crisis.
The role has two distinct parts: providing administrative support that facilitates the work of the Senior Youth Mental Health Organiser; and identifying and developing the leadership of young people directly affected by these health injustices and their families, building trusting relationships that ensure they are able to shape the strategy and lead the campaigns that win tangible improvements in the mental health and wellbeing of the people we are campaigning with and for.

Role purpose

- Working with the Head of Communications and Marketing to ensure effective, data-driven use of CW+ digital channels (website and social media) in support of marketing, communications and fundraising plans.

Key terms and benefits

The Donor Conception Network is a charity offering support to families (and prospective families) who are using a donor (egg, sperm or embryo) to conceive their children.
This is a really exciting time for the charity and a great moment to join us as we build on our 30th Anniversary last year. We recently launched a new website that has upgraded our online presence, giving you a great new platform to utilise as part of raising awareness of our services and resources. You’ll be working with our excellent digital consultant who knows the charity very well and can support you in delivering your goals. We have great plans for the next few years as part of our strategy, aimed at growing and extending our services and reach. We’re keen to find someone looking to use their marketing skills and experience to be part of that growth and development as well as contribute creative ideas.
THE ROLE
We are looking for someone to lead our marketing and communications strategy which will enable Donor Conception Network to grow its membership base, raise its profile and develop its other income sources. As marketing manager, you will work to improve and extend our communications with our stakeholders to increase visibility and awareness of the Network’s unique offer and its value. This is a hands-on role, and you will have the support of our current digital consultant.
The marketing manager is responsible for creating and delivering a cohesive marketing and communications strategy that:
- Grows membership, book sales and event bookings;
- Improves communications with our stakeholders to increase visibility and awareness of the Network’s unique offer and value. This includes traditional offline channels but also across our digital platforms too, including Google, social media and email;
- Raises the profile of DCN, strengthens our brand and cements our position as the leading voice for the donor conception community;
CORE DUTIES
- Marketing and communications strategy: create and deliver a marketing and communications strategy including an annual plan and tactics delivery;
- Social media: develop a social media strategy that integrates with the overarching marketing plan.
- You will work with the digital consultant to execute this strategy, ensuring it aligns with our organisational goals and strengthens our brand presence.
- Website content management: ensure the DCN website is an effective and persuasive marketing tool. Assess options for additional functionality, and ensure content remains up to date.
- Brand and reputation management: use marketing and communications tools and opportunities to ensure the DCN brand is well known and respected in the fertility space
- Media and PR: maximise relevant opportunities to promote the Network and raise awareness of, and interest in, our organisation.
- Metrics: put in place tools and metrics to help us quantify the success of the above marketing strategies.

We are looking for someone t to join the Bristol Women’s Pathway (*women only) as a Project Worker. The service provide specialist safe spaces from abuse, exploitation or Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).
In this role you will work across the Women’s Pathway in 3 semi-independent projects. Working as part of a dedicated team to provide a safe, high quality, positive and inclusive service to clients; by working with people to identify their personal aims and ambitions and providing practical and personal support in an approachable, caring, and person-centred way. You will work independently at times and be comfortable as a lone worker.
You will work on a weekly shift rota including early and late shifts, weekends and bank holidays. In some of these roles condensed hours can be offered and staff can claim an additional 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm and 8am Monday to Friday, and all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.

- The ability to work in a role that supports vulnerable people and maintain high level of contact with clients on a day to day basis.
