Brentford FC Community Sports Trust

Brentford FC Community Sports Trust was set up as an independent charity in 2005.

The Trust’s aim is to use the power of sport to engage, inspire and empower people in west London, by providing opportunities to take part in programmes and activities, thereby improving physical and mental wellbeing, increasing engagement in education and training and enabling people of all ages to realise their potential. Further general information including our Inclusion and Safeguarding Statements is included below.

The Trust’s annual income has grown to over £4 million. Independent assessment of the social impact delivered in recent years has shown a social value in the most recent annual reporting period to March 2023 of over £70 million.

We now face increasing challenges as we:

  • develop and manage a wide range of facilities
  • deepen our progressive and socially inclusive programmes in sports participation, health and well-being, education, employability, youth work and community engagement
  • widen our reach across communities to the west of London
  • establish a trading subsidiary

As we prepare for the future, we are looking for dedicated individuals to join our Board of Trustees, bringing fresh perspectives and strengthening our strategic direction to continue delivering substantial social impact.

For more information about the Trust please visit our website.

The BFCCST Board of Trustees

Looking ahead to the next three years, three of the current nine Trustees, including the Chair, will be retiring after many years of dedicated service.

The BFCCST Board is therefore aiming to recruit new Trustees to strengthen its range of skills and experience.  In line with its Inclusion policy the Board is keen to widen and increase the participation of members from diverse local communities and encourage younger people with the relevant skills and expertise to join the Board, as it enters this exciting period of evolution and change.

For  full details of the role, please see the attached job description.
