Responsibilities of our Senior Philanthropy Officer:
- The Senior Philanthropy Officer is responsible for helping to implement the Philanthropy team fundraising plan, aligned with the wider fundraising strategy, to increase annual net income and inspire new donors to give to Cats Protection while retaining existing supporters
- The successful candidate will manage a mixed portfolio of major donors and grant making trusts, using high value fundraising techniques such as creating bespoke cultivation plans for each donor to maximise their lifetime value

Rainbow Migration is the longest-running charity in Europe dedicated to supporting LGBTQI+ people through the asylum and immigration system and has been campaigning for their rights since 1993. We are recruiting for an Operations Officer to play a key role in supporting the effective day-to-day operations of the organisation.
This is an exciting time to join the organisation. We have grown rapidly in recent years from a small charity generating £200k income in 2019 to £1M in 2024. We are now expanding our operations team to support the larger staff team and delivery of our strategy.
This role will support the organisation’s ongoing development by helping ensure the charity has necessary systems in place and operates in line with its policies and procedures. You will support the organisation’s IT systems, digital transformation, HR, finance and administrative processes. Your responsibilities will include:
· Supporting the operation and improvement of systems that maintain delivery of our mission such as office management and administration, IT and HR
· Work closely with the Operations and Officer Manager to implement digital transformation to ensure that the organisation is using the best tools and working in as efficient a manner as possible
· Work closely with the Operations and Officer Manager and Administrator to ensure financial reports are produced accurately and in a timely manner
· Support the drafting of policies, procedures and systems used by the organisation
· Act as our day-to-day administrator for our database on Salesforce, with training provided as needed
· Provide first-tier support for IT problems within the organisation and liaise with our IT support provider when issues need escalation.

Role overview
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week). Working part-time (minimum 21 hours) will be considered. Occasional work in the evenings and at weekends may be required but with plenty of notice. Rainbow Migration encourages staff to maintain a good work life balance and has a TOIL system in place.
Salary: Starting at £31,294 with potential annual step increases up to £35,086 (pro rata if working part time), plus statutory employer’s pension contribution. In addition to an annual step increase, we consider giving a separate inflationary increase every April.
Location: Rainbow Migration’s wheelchair accessible offices are located between Vauxhall and the Oval, London. This role will have an office-based contract but the postholder can choose to work from home for part of the week in agreement with their line manager as per our hybrid working policy. You must be available to work from our offices in London when necessary. The successful candidate would also be welcome to work from the office full-time if that is their preference. At the time of posting this advert, none of our staff are going into the office every day. There might also be occasional travel outside London with plenty of notice. The Woodland Trust is looking for an Events and Communications Officer in our Smithills team to support the delivery of our Communications and Engagement program on Smithills Estate.
The Role:
• This will include responsibility for our busy events programme, creation of content for our social media channels, and administrative support for our wider people engagement and volunteering programme. This is to inspire people about the landscape of Smithills and facilitating a deeper connection with woods and trees.
• Coordinate and deliver events and activities that provide visitors and local community groups with the opportunity to connect with the site and support the work of the Woodland Trust. This includes providing engaging experiences for schoolteachers, children, community groups, and the general public, with a focus on encouraging self-led activity going forward.
• Operational delivery of events, including organising contractors, room bookings, and equipment; ensuring event site and contractors are compliant with health and safety requirements; event set-up and management on the day; and event volunteer coordination.
• Building relationships with local schools, engaging with schools in high-importance areas, and combining the Green Tree School Award and Free Tree Packs.
• Establish more volunteer support and start a young volunteer team for ages 13 -17.
• This is a fixed term contract until the end of January 2026, part time role (15 hours / 2 days per week).

How are staff supported to work remotely?
VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. Employees including Team Leaders are homebased for Administration and meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community.

This includes mentoring, practical support and signposting to assist the integration of ex-prisoners into their communities, in collaboration with other professionals.
We are actively seeking to strengthen our team of Community Chaplains and specifically to appoint a new Community Chaplain in Cornwall, to work with people in the community after they have served a sentence. The role is also a strategic one, in that it will involve extending the network of support in the county, through the development of support hubs with other service providers.

Job Title: A level Group Tutor Contractor across various subjects

Contract: For the 2025/26 academic year with the option to renew at the end of the year

We are actively looking for tutors in the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Economics, English, Geography, History, Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Politics, Psychology, Sociology and Spanish.
About the Role
Are you an experienced A level tutor? Can you support under-resourced young people to reach their full academic potential?
We are looking for passionate and qualified A level tutors to deliver high quality group tuition to our cohort of almost 1,000 students. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced tutors with a love of learning to help bright students overcome barriers to academic achievement. Tutorials are delivered online to groups of up to 4 students via our bespoke online learning platform.
Tutorials generally take place between the hours of 3pm and 8pm on weekday evenings, with flexibility around the schedules of our tutors and students.

Role Responsibilities
- Lead weekly hour-long tutorials with your tutor group(s), via The Access Project’s online learning platform
- Responsively plan and deliver stimulating, high quality tuition in line with our Quality Assurance Framework
- Effectively monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback when requested
- Complete weekly attendance forms, supply monthly invoices, and complete other administrative duties as required
- Participate in our observation and feedback process, taking advantage of continuous professional development opportunities
- Follow The Access Project’s safeguarding policies, supporting the wellbeing of your students at all times
Person Specification
- At least two years A level teaching and/or tutoring experience
- Positive, engaging and flexible teaching style
- Familiarity with and strong knowledge of relevant exam boards and specifications
- Evidence of ability to tutor one or more of the following subjects to A level standard: Biology, Chemistry, Economics, English, Geography, History, Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Politics, Psychology, Sociology and Spanish
- Ability to commit to weekly hour-long tutorials at the same time each week over the academic year
- UK based, with the right to work in the UK
