The Jawbone Collective seeks a Volunteer Bookkeeping / Financial Recordkeeping support person to join our thriving arts organisation. As we continue to expand activities and our reach across the Southwest of England, we need someone with financial expertise to help strengthen our operational foundation.
You will work remotely alongside our dedicated management team to develop robust financial processes that will support our journey toward becoming a self-sustaining arts organisation. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting us in managing our diverse revenue streams, including workshop fees, journal and poetry publications, grants (hopefully we get some soon) and event income.

Role Description
- Initially organising a transition to accounting software
- Train team members in maintain financial records and bookkeeping

The Jawbone Collective is a dynamic arts organisation dedicated to nurturing creative voices across the Wessex Region. Founded in 2022, we've evolved from our initial mission of publishing the poetry collections of under represented groups to becoming a comprehensive creative hub offering multiple platforms for artistic expression. Voluntary Discipleship Ambassadors (part time)
ETS is a small but growing UK based Christian charity, which is looking to expand its discipleship and evangelism training throughout the UK and the English-speaking nations.
We are looking for a people of faith who can identify with our aims; a mature Christian who is comfortable in networking with Church leaders. Although this is a voluntary position, we anticipate that this role may be salaried at some point in the future.
In our present phase, we require Ambassadors in all regions of the UK. As an ETS Ambassador, you will be our first contact to many pastors and leaders in both the UK and to other English-speaking nations. Therefore, your main role is to open doors and to reflect our passion and ability to make disciples of all nations, through our unique one-day training and manuals. Once the door of opportunity has been opened, we can take over and explain in more detail.
As our ETS Ambassador, your role will involve reaching out to churches to promote our discipleship and evangelism training. This will be by targeted emails, letters, and phone calls, which will be backed up and supported by our Admin and Fundraising Officers.
ETS is based in Peterborough, and we expect any applicant to work from home/remote (hybrid) along with attending meetings over zoom. We will only interview applicants who are UK based. There may be occasional team meetings at Allia Business Centre, Peterborough, but traveling costs will be reimbursed, along with phone calls and other approved expenses.

Role Description: Trustee

Barbara Bus North Wales is a Satellite Branch of The Barbara Bus Fund. Started in 2009 BBNW operates 4 wheelchair accessible vehicles from bases around North Wales and on Anglesey. Vehicles are available for loan by wheelchair users who are unable to transfer, and can be used by friends and family who have completed the registration process.
BBNW is recruiting a part-time Coordinator on a voluntary basis. The role will be based from the candidate's home.

Daily Operations
Register new passengers and drivers and enter onto the database
Maintain Access Database
Arrange vehicle demonstrations for new users
Take bookings and keep the diary up to date
Volunteer management
Liaise with volunteers to arrange vehicle servicing and repairs
Support volunteers (3) in their role

Prepare and circulate management report in advance of meeting

The National Bargee Travellers Association (NBTA) is a volunteer organisation dedicated to upholding and defending the rights of itinerant boat dwellers on Britain's inland and coastal waterways. We exist because boat dwellers in the UK face significant challenges:
- Increasing restrictions on mooring and movement
- Limited access to essential services like healthcare and education
- Misinterpretation and inconsistent application of waterways laws
- Pressure on traditional ways of life on the water

The Opportunity:
We're seeking a dynamic National Organiser to support our newly established Kennet and Avon canal NBTA branch and expand in other areas outside London. This role offers a unique chance to strengthen grassroots activism and foster a sense of community among boat dwellers across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide crucial organisational and administrative support to the newly set up Kennet and Avon canal NBTA branch
- Develop and implement strategies to encourage NBTA members outside London to form local action groups
- Empower and support NBTA activists in organising their own initiatives and events
- Collaborate with existing team members to enhance our national presence and effectiveness
- Coordinate and facilitate communication between local groups and the wider community
The Ideal Candidate:
- Passionate about social justice and community organising (essential)
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills (essential)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others (essential)
- Understanding of democratic organisational systems (essential)
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team (essential)
- Experience of grassroots activism or community organising (preferred)
- Familiarity with the challenges faced by boat dwellers, particularly on the Kennet and Avon canal (advantageous)
