As a QEHB Charity Senior Corporate Fundraiser you will primarily be based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham in Edgbaston, with frequent travel off site to attend meetings and events.
You will be key in helping to build new relationships with corporates across the region and nationally as well as nurture existing supporters.
This role is for someone with considerable experience in corporate fundraising (ideally 3-5 years) within a Charity with a proven track record of delivering on income targets and proactively generating fundraising leads and ideas.
The Senior Fundraiser will work closely with other members of the hospital charity and will be responsible for delivering demanding fundraising targets from corporate supporters and local businesses.
This role will cover fundraising for all aspects of the hospital, including the hospital charity’s work with military patients.
This role will be responsible for designing and implementing new fundraising projects to offer our corporate donors, with the aim of driving income and increasing engagement across the four hospitals.
As well as generating a substantial income stream for the Charity, the successful candidate will also work alongside the Communications Team to design a communications strategy that increases both engagement and income generation.
The post holder will also be involved in the organisation and delivery of fundraising events for the Charity. This role will involve regular evening and weekend work at charity events and events organised by our supporters.

As Housing Procurement Officer, you will join our team in Birmingham at an exciting time, delivering an outstanding property procurement service across the private and social rented sector. Working alongside our team of lead worker coaches you will identify appropriate matches of tenants and homes. It’s a role requiring commercial acumen and creativity as you partner with both Social and Private landlords and our members. You will work collaboratively with partners, coaches and staff across the organisation to ensure tenants receive the support they need to sustain their homes and landlord relationships are nurtured. There is scope for development of the role and plenty of support. It’s a fantastic opportunity to make the role your own and shape it from the beginning.

The successful candidate will be approachable with the ability to communicate with people at all levels. This role deals with enquiries relating to the hiring and use of centre’s facilities (indoor school and conference room) and the subsequent co-ordination of bookings, ensuring the arrangements meet all requirements. A knowledge and experience of horses would be advantageous.
This role offers up to 32 hours per week over 4 days. It is operated on a flexible basis and would suit a job-share as weekend working is required. A flexible approach towards working hours is essential as some events can take place outside of normal working hours.

About you
The Finance and Support Services Manager will be a highly skilled professional with a strong background in financial management, risk control, and compliance. Jobholder Requirements
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant professional accounting qualification or a bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or relevant volunteering or work experience.
- Demonstratable working experience, ideally in an INGO environment, but experience in audit and government organisations would also be advantageous.
- Experience in financial management, programme and project management, and administration.
- Project financial management and data analysis skills.
- Ability to represent Sightsavers with key external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Proficiency in IT skills, including Excel, MS Word, an accounting package, and emailing.

We’re looking for an Events and Community Fundraising Officer to join our team
Salary: £30,000
Base: Central Edinburgh/hybrid
Hours: Full time and permanent. 35 hours a week over core working hours of 10am - 3pm, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break. The office is open 8am – 6pm daily and our hybrid working policy requires all full-time employees to work at least two days a week in the Edinburgh office.

- Seek and fulfil a variety of engagements in the London and the South East which engender loyalty and acquire short- and long-term income contributing to the fundraising target of £405k per year.

- Participate in All We Can’s presence at several conferences and events each year, inspiring current and new supporters through stalls, workshops, and stage time.
- Build and develop new strategic relationships with ministers, lay workers, and key volunteers in Methodist Churches across the country, encouraging them into deeper income-generating engagement with All We Can.

To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have experience of community fundraising involving relationship-building, planning, and generating a response to a call to action with experience of community fundraising in a Christian context being desirable.
- Be a passionate and convincing public speaker, with experience of speaking/presenting in a Christian context; being a qualified preacher and/or worship leader in a church tradition would be an advantage but is not a requirement.
- Have experience of generating and following up on new opportunities. Experience of project management in a professional context will be an advantage but is not a requirement.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills and proven ability to communicate both stories and data.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including an ability and willingness to communicate to diverse audiences. To be comfortable communicating to Christian groups and individuals.

Leadership and Management
Provide inspirational and approachable leadership and management support to all staff, volunteers and sessional workers within the team including:

Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- Successful track record of leading and managing teams in a children and young people and/or family services delivery setting.
- Recent experience delivering programmes and activities within children and young people and/or family services.
- Experience managing safeguarding’s
- Awareness of contemporary issues affecting children, young people, and families.
- Training qualification and/or equivalent experience delivering training and services for young people / family services.

We are looking for a part-time maternity cover Finance Officer to join our ambitious and growing type 1 diabetes medical research charity, Breakthrough T1D.
As one of two Finance Officers you will focus on income processing, credit control and gift aid. Reporting to the Head of Finance, but working closely with the Supporter Care team, this is a key role in contributing towards the smooth operation of the Finance team responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial information to the organisation.
You will be proficient with accounting and other software packages including Excel and Sage 200 or equivalents.
You’ll have previous experience of charity income accounting and knowledge of fundraising platforms. You will be able to work independently as well as being part of the Finance team.
