Volunteer Tiktok Content Creator

We are seeking Volunteer TikTok Content Creators to help plan and execute shortform videos for Traid's TikTok channel. You will be supported by our Marketing & Communications team and work with our staff to create TikTok videos that promote our charity, fundraising work and second-hand fashion. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to use their content creation skills for a meaningful cause whilst building their portfolio.

About Traid:

Traid is a charity retailer on a mission to change fashion for the better. In the UK, we collect, curate, and resell second-hand clothes, giving fashion a new lease of life. Globally, we fund good causes that support and empower the people who make our clothes, from organic cotton farmers to garment workers, their families and communities.

What you'll be working on:

• Collaborating with the Marketing & Communications team to brainstorm and execute ideas for shortform TikTok & Instagram video content, including filming (on site) and editing (remote).
• Researching current trends on TikTok to ensure content remains relevant and up to date.

About you:

As this is a volunteer role, we're primarly looking for someone who is motivated, creative and reliable, over having loads of experience, but it would be great for you to have:

• A keen interest in second-hand fashion.
• Up to date with social trends, specifically on TikTok.
• Experience creating and editing short form video content using editing apps like CapCut or Premier Rush, or a willingness to learn.
• An understanding of best practice on TikTok and other social media channels.

This is a flexible volunteer opportunity, with multiple positions available. Any filming would take place on site in London at our shops or warehouse, with planning and editing remotely. We can be flexible on the time commitment, but prefer a regular commitment within a minimum 3 month period.

Volunteers must have their own smartphone with a good quality camera, but we provide any additional equipment needed like tripods, microphones, etc. We will cover your travel expenses and refreshments.
