Job description

Background

We at The Melody & Soul Project CIC are a firm believers in the transformative power of music, We are confident that introducing Music to hospitals/care homes can provide numerous benefits to those receiving care at the hospitals/homes as music has been proven to have a positive impact on mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

We are happy to expand the team and thereby calling on volunteer singers & instrument players willing to contribute to the therapeutic atmosphere at various hospitals/care homes.

Requirements

· You must be reliable, show strong commitment and enthusiasm as well as a genuine interest in singing to sick/vulnerable people of all age category.

· You should enjoy working with people of different believes, ethnicity, values other than yours and be able to engage their attention with your expressive personality.

- If an instrumentalist, You must have your personal instrument.

Expected hours: Maximum of 30mins per week

Schedule:

· All days of the week (Strictly based on rota)

Training/Certification:

· General engagement training (Would be provided) (required)

· DBS Certificate (or are would be willing to get one) (required)

Work Location: Depends on your location.
