Why am I needed?
Our teams are always busy with new and exciting projects and they are looking for some extra help.
Do you love organising, admin and lending a hand? We need you!
This role would require you to assist the all departments with our processing applications, keeping on top of data management, posting, packing, sorting, organising to name a few.
What will I be doing?
Your main tasks will involve, but may not be limited to:
Data entry
Assisting with day to day tasks
Working on different projects
Printing, scanning and posting documents out
Working with all departments on their important and busy projects, this can be from working with our Fundraising Department to our Retail Team to Benefits.
Processing all incoming and outgoing mail, undertaking photocopying, scanning, uploading, faxing and filing as required.
Monitoring our admin email inbox and actioning what comes in
Answering the phones and taking referrals
General admin office tasks
Keeping the office rooms tidy and organised, greeting guests to the office as well
Input data into our databases and spreadsheets making sure it is accurate and up to date
What skills and qualities do I need?
Volunteer in a busy office with lots to do
A friendly and enthusiastic approach and the ability to get on well with others
Excellent communication skills
Methodical with good attention to detail
Pro-active with a ‘can-do’ attitude and a flexible approach to tasks
Ability to work as part of as team
Good IT and phone skills
An organised approach to working and managing a project
What support will I be given?
All departments will be on hand to support you in your role
Receive an induction, training and development for your role.
You’ll also have the opportunity to use our eLearning training system, with access to online courses.

Where will I be based?
For this role you will be at our Head Office, located in Jones Court, Womanby Street, Cardiff, CF10 1BR.
What about the hours?
We would ideally love our volunteer to help us out one day a week, preferably the same day each week but we are flexible and can discuss on interview.
