We're on the search for someone with a heart of gold, compassionate and a passion for making a difference to peoples lives, joining our inspiring start-up charity, SUNSHINE. We are also looking for a charity champion, joining us in a brand new fantastic volunteer role as one of our Trustees.

In this exciting volunteer role you will be responsible for;

1. Strategic Leadership: Trustees help define our charity’s vision, strategy, and long-term goals, ensuring SUNSHINE stays true to its mission of combating social isolation and loneliness.

2. Governance and Oversight: Trustees ensure the charity operates legally, ethically, and efficiently, monitoring performance and compliance with regulations.

3. Fundraising and Financial Management: Trustees play a key role in securing funding, overseeing budgets, and ensuring financial sustainability to support our charity’s initiatives.

4. Advocacy and Networking: Acting as ambassadors, Trustees build relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and donors to expand SUNSHINE's reach and impact.

5. Risk Management: As our Trustee you will identify and manage risks to the charity, safeguarding its reputation and ensuring its resources are used effectively.

6. Support and Collaboration: Trustees work closely with the leadership team to provide guidance and expertise, while fostering a collaborative and inspiring environment.
