We're on the search for someone with a heart of gold, compassionate and a passion for making a difference to peoples lives, joining our inspiring start-up charity, SUNSHINE. We are also looking for a bubbly storyteller and maketing/comms champion, joining us in a brand new fantastic volunteer role as our Marketing and Communications Manager to lead on telling our story, creating a real buzz and excitement for SUNSHINE, shaping the public image and outreach efforts for us.

In this exciting volunteer role you will be responsible for;

 

  1. Brand Development: Enhance our current brand and maintain a strong, positive identity for the charity through consistent messaging and visual branding.

  2. Content Creation: Develop engaging materials such as newsletters, blogs, press releases, and social media posts to promote the charity's mission, events, and achievements.

  3. Campaign Management: Design and execute marketing campaigns to raise awareness and attract participants, donors, partners, and volunteers.

  4. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with media outlets, influencers, and community groups to amplify the charity’s reach.

  5. Digital Presence: Manage the charity’s website and social media channels, ensuring they remain dynamic and aligned with organisational goals.

  6. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the team to develop and refine communication strategies that drive growth and impact.

  7. Monitoring and Evaluation: Analyse the success of marketing and communication efforts to optimise future campaigns.

As a start-up charity, the Marketing and Communications Manager will wear multiple hats, balancing marketing and communications duties with broader organisational needs. It's a role that requires attention to detail, flair, creativity, and a passion for the charity's mission.
