If so, our new community-based charity, SUNSHINE, is looking for an enthusiastic and creative volunteer to join us as our Marketing and Communications Manager. Our mission is to make a significant impact on the lives of people aged 18 and above who are experiencing loneliness and social isolation in London, with plans to expand beyond the London area.

Role Overview:

As our Marketing and Communications Manager, you will play a key role in creating a real buzz around SUNSHINE. You’ll help us raise awareness of our new charity, lead our social media strategy, and manage all marketing and communications functions. Your work will ensure SUNSHINE becomes a well-known and trusted name in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy.

  • Create and manage engaging content for social media platforms, email campaigns, and our website.

  • Build relationships with local media outlets, councils, organisations and businesses to promote our cause and initiatives.

  • Design and execute campaigns to raise awareness of SUNSHINE and its mission.

  • Collaborate with the team to ensure consistent branding and messaging.

  • Monitor the performance of marketing efforts and adjust strategies as needed.
