We're searching for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our exciting and inspiring start-up charity, SUNSHINE, as our HR AND VOLUNTEERING MANAGER. THE ROLE: HR AND VOLUNTEERING MANAGER

As our HR and Volunteering Manager, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that SUNSHINE is supported by a talented and motivated team, as well as an engaged network of volunteers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Volunteer Recruitment: Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain passionate volunteers who share SUNSHINE’s vision.

  • Volunteer Management: Create and oversee programmes that support volunteers, ensuring their needs are met and their contributions are valued.

  • HR Policies and Procedures: Design and implement effective HR policies that align with SUNSHINE’s mission and values.

  • Training and Development: Deliver and manage training programmes that empower volunteers and staff to excel in their roles.

  • Team Building: Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and positivity within the SUNSHINE team.

  • Performance Management: Monitor team and volunteer performance, providing guidance and support to promote growth and development.

  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure HR and volunteer practices meet legal and ethical standards.

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop strategies that strengthen SUNSHINE’s human resources and volunteer operations.
