We're a NEW start-up charity, aiming to get set up, registered and launched

Are you passionate about creating meaningful connections and leading impactful community initiatives? We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our exciting new and inspiring start-up charity, SUNSHINE, as our HEAD OF COMMUNITY PROGRAMMES. This is your chance to design and deliver programmes that transform lives and foster a sense of belonging.

THE ROLE: HEAD OF COMMUNITY PROGRAMMES

As our Head of Community Programmes, you will lead the development and implementation of innovative initiatives that make a real difference in people's lives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Programme Development: Design and oversee engaging, impactful community programmes that align with SUNSHINE’s mission and goals.

  • Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with local communities to ensure programmes are inclusive, relevant, and responsive to their needs.

  • Volunteer Coordination: Work with the Head of HR and Volunteering to recruit, train, and manage volunteers for programme delivery.

  • Impact Measurement: Develop and implement methods to evaluate programme success and ensure continuous improvement.

  • Event Management: Organise and deliver community events that bring people together and foster connections.

  • Collaboration: Partner with other team members, organisations, and stakeholders to enhance the reach and effectiveness of SUNSHINE’s initiatives.

  • Resource Management: Ensure programmes are delivered efficiently and sustainably, within budget and resource constraints.
