We're on the search for someone with a heart of gold, compassionate and a passion for making a difference to peoples lives, joining our inspiring start-up charity, SUNSHINE. We are also looking for a driving force and SUNSHINE champion, who supports our Founder and CEO in the daily operations of the charity, joining us in a brand new fantastic volunteer role as our Chief Operating Officer.

In this exciting volunteer role you will be responsible for;

1. Operational Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to optimise SUNSHINE's operations, ensuring maximum impact and sustainability.

2. Team Leadership: Oversee and empower teams, including staff and volunteers, fostering collaboration, motivation, and a shared sense of purpose.

3. Programme Management: Ensure the successful delivery of initiatives and services, monitoring their progress and impact while maintaining the highest quality standards.

4. Resource Allocation: Manage budgets, logistics, and resources to support SUNSHINE's activities effectively and responsibly.

5. Performance Monitoring: Analyse key metrics and evaluate the effectiveness of operations, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.

6. Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with donors, partners, and community leaders to enhance support for SUNSHINE and expand its reach.

7. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards, safeguarding the charity's reputation and mitigating risks.

As the COO, you will bring your vision to life by ensuring operational excellence and creating the foundation for SUNSHINE's growth and lasting impact.
